I tried to schedule a massage with this company through their recent Groupon.com deal. I looked up their website and read their reviews online before making the Groupon purchase. I'm new to the area and didn't know anyone that I could ask for a referral and I made the mistake of trusting the online reviews.

I purchased the Groupon deal and called to schedule. I am a stay-at-home-mom with two under the age of 2 right now and my husband works very long hours during the week. My only option was to do a weekend appointment. I was told they could fit me in on a Tuesday at 2pm and it happened to coincide with a visit from my parents (who live out of state) so I took it. Later that day, they called me back to tell me that they had to cancel that appointment because it had already been booked for someone else and that I would need to call in the following day to schedule. I called the next day to reschedule and was told (fairly rudely, I might add) that they didn't do any weekend appointments at all, ever, and that if I couldn't make it during the week, to call Groupon and get a refund.

Since Groupon doesn't really issue refunds, I'm just out the money. I have no idea if their services are any good, but their customer service is awful and the website is misleading about their weekend availability.

      Not. Satisfied.

Dr Robinson is by far one of the most personable yet professional doctors I have met in my lifetime. He truly listens to what you are saying which is one of the reasons why his treatment is so effective! Thank you for making the experience such a pleasant one!

The good: The treatment I received by Dr. Ryan Davis was great. I went to see him for low back pain and he helped me understand what the cause behind the pain was and what I could do to prevent it from occurring again. He focused on mobility and strength in order to prevent further injury. After a month or two my back felt great, so I had no need to go back in.

The bad: The billing. Each appointment I was charged a different amount for the same exact treatment, I never knew how much I was going to spend after my appointment. I understand my insurance deductible had to be met for certain procedures, but I felt like they could be way more upfront with the charges. If I knew I was going to be charged extra for certain therapies/exercises I would have refused the treatment.

A few weeks ago, which was several months since my last appointment, I received a bill in the mail which said my insurance did not cover certain therapies and they wanted $45. That was okay, I understood that they made a mistake and I'll pay the $45 to make up the different. I thought that would be the end of it.

Now, just yesterday, I received another bill in the mail from Spinecare... apparently they just "discovered" more therapies my insurance didn't cover (keep in mind this has been many many weeks since my last appointment) and they didn't bill me correctly for when I had my actual appointment. This time for $90+ dollars. I'm getting fed up with their mysterious bills and charges. I don't have the money to keep paying Spinecare whenever they feel like sending me a bill.

So, in summary, the treatment I received by Dr. Davis was top notch. The charges and billing for the treatments is all sorts of messed up. If it weren't for the billing, I would easily give Spinecare 5 stars.

I twisted/snapped something in my lower back while working on Bridge Street, I went to Sean Caine and he helped me work through the pain to get back to normal. I couldnt sit or drive for more than a minute without pain before Sean. Last year I bent to plug in a vacuum and snap the same pain same place. Well seems like I have a weak disc, but Sean helped me get over it without surgery. He suggested exercises to build muscle strength in the weak area and to work on my flexibility and range of motion to prevent future injuries. I was glad I went back to SpineCare instead of going through a surgery.

      First to Review

Paid every co-pay they requested. Still came back with big bill after months of treatment and I explicitly checked for add'l fees along the way. They sent me to collections without even notifying me!! Buyer beware. Then, they were VERY rude when I asked why and the details. Of course I paid - they would hurt my credit score.
