Ordered for delivery so can't say much about the location or service. The food wasn't bad. For me 3 stars is average and that's what the food was.
A couple of the rolls weren't cut right so trying to get just one piece was a struggle. The ones I thought would be spicy weren't and the Mexican Roll surprised me with a kick of flavor from the jalapeno inside.
One of my big loves of sushi is the orange sauce (spicy mayo).. always called something different but I can eat that stuff out of the container. This was not the same thing. It tasted like solid mayonnaise. It was spicy but it did not have the right flavor at all.
For the price I think we'll try somewhere else.. usually $14/roll is more impressive.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Rebekah W.Highland, CA6321Mar 5, 2020
Tonight, I visited my FAVORITE Sushi house in all of the High Desert. SOYA SUSHI. I had my favorite Philadelphia roll....as usual it was Perfect. I absolutely love that Soya Sushi is 100 % consistent with their delicious product. I had a fantastic server SAMANTHA....who did a great job making sure everyone was taken care of.
You need to come eat here...Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Tami E.Bakersfield, CA40110130Feb 18, 2017
Came in around 4:45. Only 5 customers inside. We were seated and then forgot about. The place is super tiny so that's really hard to do. The waitress was literally running around. Which is funny because again their was only two tables with customers. After at least 15 mins of waiting a party of 4 came in and was immediately got service. Well that was it, we walked out. I don't like to complain because I don't want to get my food spit in.
They really need a new waitress. I will not be going back here. Extremely rude!!!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jess S.Carpinteria, CA1352Dec 1, 2018
Really disappointed, the wife and I have been visiting here over the last few years . Never have we been turned away 55 minutes before they close !
Not sure if it was the staffs fault , or they really closed at 8:05 PM. ( sign says 9 PM on Saturday)
I'm not sure if I will return.
This isn't the only Sushi place in town . Though
I always have enjoyed the smaller places .
Just disappointed!!

This was not the first time eating at this place, but I could say with all certainty that it will be my last.
I came to dinner this evening with my wife and two daughters. When we sat down the only two parties that were dining there were getting up and leaving. I thought to myself "maybe today the service will be quick". I was wrong! And to top it off it was only the beginning of my unfortunate encounter with this place.
After 10-15 minutes she comes to my table and asks what we would like to drink, as she brought cold edemames. She said "before I take your drinks I want to tell you that we are in the middle of transitioning from Coca Cola to Pepsi and we do not have soft drinks" I asked what she had and she said water, green tea, and ice tea. I settled for water.
We placed our food order, and he waitress brought portions at a time. We asked for a plate, but that plate never arrived. My Chicken Teriyaki Dinner Special was suppose to be accompanied by a soup, which also never came. The chicken was bland and very dry; it seemed like old cooked chicken. I asked for extra teriyaki sauce to mask the dryness. However, you guessed it... it never came.
As I was working through my lack luster dinner plate, my wife jumped in discomfort. Only to pull out a metal shard from her roll. I tried waving the waitress, but she was busy talking to someone in the back. We informed her of this issue, but all she said is we could replace if you would like. I felt bad throwing food away so I decided to keep it.
I then asked for my check, and waited for 10 minutes for that to arrive. I looked at my heck to hopefully see some sort of courtesy discount, but there was nothing. I mentioned it to her and the waitress got really upset and said because we ate the food, her policy said that she could not give me a discount. And that I could take my soup to go if I wanted.
This has been the poorest customer service experience!!
I will be posting of the shard and of a broken plastic cup of water, which I forgot to mention earlier.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Paulius L.Pomona, CA5331573Nov 24, 2020
I have eaten at this restaurant once. It was at the beginning of 2020, when I visited nearby stores. Therefore, I was hungry, and I have decided to grab a sushi meal. The meal that I have ordered was quite delicious. There was ample of space to sit down there, and enjoy a meal. The staff working there was friendly, helpful, and polite. At the same time, the place looked quite clean. Definitely, if anyone is in the area of Victorville, I would recommend to stop by this establishment, and grab some sushi meals. Of course, the prices are quite fair. However, when ordering a lot, it usually adds up on the expensive side!

Horrible this place has gone downhill. The server was coughing, and it was disgusting. I was very disappointed with the service. The food was mediocre. This should be closed. Menus were dirty and the tables too.

Ordered delivery and it was PERFECT! tasted just as good as getting it served in the restaurant. We ordered through Postmates. During these crazy times, we want to make sure we are supporting our favorite places to eat. Job well done! Delicious as usual!

This is my favorite sushi restaurant in the high desert. It's super easy to grab a take out menu and call to order take out on any day or night, and is ready for pick up quickly. I also love dining in here, the ambience is so inviting. It's a small place but that's something I enjoy about it. They have televisions that are normally on a sports channel, as well as good music always playing. The waitresses (which there is usually only one working) are always polite and helpful. The sushi chefs are nice to talk too as well if you decide to sit at the bar. I honestly have never had anything I didn't like here and I've tried a variety of rolls, from fresh rolls to tempura rolls to baked rolls. I enjoy both their cut rolls and hand rolls. Their menu is simple to understand has pictures which help with decision making!

Great little spot and convenient location. The sushi was fresh and the spicy tuna was perfect. The plate presentation of everything was beautiful and the sushi chef was very kind and inviting. All around a great food and customer service.
