This place does not disappoint.
My second time here. This time was even better than the last. The steak was great!!
The burger was just as good maybe better.
But you can't beat a steak.
Service was good. Food was even better!!
Will definitely be coming back! :-)

Not a fan. Maybe it was a bad night but the food was good but not sure if it was great. The place is very popular and it looks nice.

The ribeye was awesome no steak sauce needed. The baked Mac & Cheese was iff the chain. Hamburger was great & fries too. Waitress was attentive. Price was very reasonable

Vary friendly and professional service. Food was good and the margaritas are off the charts. I highly recommend this restaurant. Hopefully i can get a chance to go when they have live music, possibly Tony Poole!

Family friendly, reasonably priced, casual.
Clean and sanitary.

Their hours of operation are a little strange, open from 11-2pm then 4-8pm.

I ordered the ribeye rare with sauteed onions and a baked potato.
The ribeye was served medium rare vs. rare and imo was a choice cut vs. a prime cut.

Overall my experience was okay.
The ribeye served is comparable to the quality of a chain steakhouse ribeye.
Getting a medium rare vs. rare was somewhat disappointing.

Great spot for birthday lunch... I took my sister and we had a wonderful meal and great service. I'll be going back

Burger was mediocre, fries were mediocre, boneless wings were horrible. For the price, not worth the food - at least if you're going for burgers.

Having retired and moved up here from New Orleans we brought our food lust with us. We have certain venues we go to for certain foods and for steak Southern Char is it. Oh yeah, it has a good bar and in a town not long out of being 'dry' that's a big plus.

It isn't fancy but I don't taste fancy, the food is the issue and I have never had a bad piece of beef here nor, if I have some instructions as to just how I want that steak cooked, have I not had the staff follow through. In those rare (no pun intended) where there's a beef with the beef they've replaced it without question and it's always been correct. It's been extremely rare and usually minor but it's always been righted.

We usually start, even remain, at a table in the bar area, with drinks and appetizers. There's never any perceived rush to hurry up and clear the table, you get the same great and polite service from start to the meal's end. Some of the waitstaff may not be as 'foodie' as the diners but I've found that a polite explanation of what you want almost always, in those rare instances where this occurs, is sufficient and frequently creates a conversation between the diner(s) and the staff that lasts thru the meal. It makes an already comfortable, 'family feeling' place even more so. No disappointments here.
