I will never ever bring my vehicles to South Bay ever again!
I was a long time customer because the service was fast and reliable. Luis at the front desk was always direct and communicative. Whenever I needed a certain service he'd always do as I requested with no add ons.
I've recently dropped off my vehicle because of some mechanical and electrical issues, as soon as I dropped off my car the lady at the front desk told me they would have to run a diagnostic test in order to see what maybe the issue? I agreed because I wasn't too sure what was wrong?
4 hours go by and no call back, I HAD to call them to ask what was the status on my vehicle. I was given a list of issues that needed attention to my vehicle, i said ok not a problem. Some I can hold off and some do need attention. I told the lady to fix what I requested to be fixed and we can go on from there. The next day, I get another call about another issue and I said to fix that problem since it was something I was aware of, meanwhile I asked about the electrical issue and that was not even mentioned to the mechanic!!!!
2 hours go by and they told mw about the electrical problem which was an additional $160. At this point my cost went from $450 to over $1000. I told them I will be there at 8:00 am SHARP to pickup my vehicle.
I show up at 8:00 as I promised and come to find out the mechanic took my keys home! I was there waiting and waiting for MY KEYS to get to the shop so I can take my car home!! but there was absolutley no issue when it came to ringing up my $1,000 bill!!! When the mechanic came with my keys all I got was a "sorry" with no sincerity behind it.
This place used to be amazing and I used to tell all my friends about it but its gone downhill passed any forgivness from me.
Save your time, and money and look elsewhere

SouthBay has always been a great place to get your vehicle checked and repaired. They explain everything to you and show you the old part causing issues.

This shop is my go to for all my auto needs. The customer service from manager Luis and the service from all the auto technicians is wonderful in every way. They take careful care of my car and provide honest and genuine advice while still considering my budget. They even bring out the pieces they worked on and show you what they replaced and explain why.
I 100% recommend to stop by and get your car checked out and worked on. They will not disappoint!

I had water pump, serpentine belt, and, thermostat changed for very good price.

When I arrived to pick up the vehicle all old parts were spread out on a mat so I could see exactly what was replaced.

The most striking about this place is its cleanliness. It has the triple B mark that gives comfort to a First time customer in an unfamiliar neighborhood like me.

The lady on the phone and as the receptionist is very nice and knowledgeable. I went for an oil change as a walk-in. Had no appointment. They were courteous and prompt.

There is a quiet feeling of trust. Seems like a low key humble place that just wants to do good business. No hard sales of additional services like the franchised auto shops.

Good place to take your car in.

Customer beware...I never write reviews unless it's horrible service...payed alot of money and they refuse to give me my money back or fix my car..they returned my car in worst condition then I left it..I went there for one issue and payed for more work and they still didn't fix it and claimed it was the first issue that I payed to have fix!! They Kept changing their story..u can choose to ignore my review..but I'm trying to help the next person looking to get work done....do not have ur car fixed there!!!
