Simply amazing. From the first meeting, to the day of the wedding, Chris has been there every step of the way. Having the website available to make changes, additions, suggestions and putting up the timeline made it very easy to communicate the style and ambiance of the music. Even the suggestions on the website are great, since we didn't have a particular song we wanted to play for certain parts of the wedding.

What also helped was the fact he did the lighting too. Two birds, one stone! The uplighting was great and it really made our San Clemente venue shine, especially in the evening. The fact is that Chris was on top of everything, making sure the timing was right, talking to the guests, lighting was top notch and coordinated with our wedding coordinator. This made out lives a bit easier, since this was one aspect we did not have to worry too much about during our wedding planning.

We initially first came across Soundwave and DJ Wil at our friends' wedding. We were blown away at how smooth, professional, and FUN Wil was for our friends' wedding. We've been to weddings where the other DJs weren't prepared, didn't play any of the song from the bride and groom, and worst yet, read the wrong name when announcing the bride and groom. With Soundwave, you don't need to worry about ANY of that! We reached out to our friends to get the info for Soundwave and ended up choosing Wil as our DJ & MC and he was nothing short of spectacular!

DJ Wil was so professional, amicable, and responsive throughout the whole process. He helped us get started with our song selections and choosing the overall vibes of our wedding. We gave him certain songs we wanted played at the wedding and Wil did a great job curating a playlist that fit the songs we liked. Wil was really informative and walked us through everything step by step, breaking everything down for us, ensuring we didn't forget anything. You can tell he's super detail oriented, which you definitely want the DJ to be for your wedding! To spotlight Wil even more, for our bridal party entrance, we wanted a specific remixed song we found on Tiktok, and Wil went above and beyond and found that song. It really made a huge difference!

On the day of, Wil got to the venue early to have his booth and sound systems set up. He made sure to test out the sound systems to make sure everything sounded like how he wanted them to sound. He did the MCing and made everything flow so smoothly and naturally. Nothing seemed out of place. All the songs played were fitting to the mood and vibe. He also did an AMAZING job hyping everyone up and making sure everyone was having fun, no matter what age. Sooo many of our guests and friends told us that Wil was the best DJ they'd seen, and specifically talked about his song selections and his MCing!

Overall, we HIGHLY recommend the Soundwave team for weddings (or any events)! I want to shoutout Wil again, as he really made our wedding unforgettable. If you're still on the fence about them, book them now before they are booked!

In our search for a wedding DJ we stumbled across SoundWave Productions and are so glad that we did!! After listening to several of their DJ's mixes we felt DJ Drew perfectly fit the vibe that we were looking for on our wedding! After meeting with DJ Drew to discuss our vision for our wedding dance floor we were sold as we felt he would be a great fit. On our wedding day DJ Drew not only delivered but absolutely knocked it out of the park! We did not have a single moment of an empty or low energy dance floor which was a big fear of ours. SO many of our guests came up to us after the wedding and remarked that they couldn't believe how great our DJ was! We loved our experience with DJ Drew as our wedding DJ! Soundwave also worked with us through two different pandemic postponements until we finally got to have our big party, so we appreciate them a lot for that.

DJ Drew was totally awesome. He used the playlists we'd made to illustrate our music taste and adhered to all of our requests (like "no country music" LOL except for "Man, I Feel Like a Woman" obviously). Additionally, I had a surprise video planned for my husband, whose best man and two of his groomsmen couldn't attend the wedding, and Drew adapted with this last-minute request perfectly, as I had to have a friend explain the surprise and help him set it up to be played during the speeches portion of our reception. When the projector I brought to play the videos didn't work, Drew was able to play them on his DJ booth screen instead, which ended up being even better since our sweetheart table was directly across from him. It was a wonderful touch!

The rest of Soundwave's equipment was also top notch--the mics, speakers, lights, etc. all worked perfectly and he MC'd the night very well, with great energy and zero "hiccups" when it came to pronouncing names or announcing things to our 100-person wedding. He really did an absolutely awesome job and made the dancing portion of the evening the most memorable, with so many guests telling us afterwards that they've never danced so much at a wedding before. It was epic! Thank you so much for making our night a total blast, Drew!

Words can't express how incredible Chris Berry and Dom Rocks were!! I'm so happy they have such great content on their YouTube and Instagram pages because I was able to show my now husband that having a DJ and drummer was a non-negotiable for me!! Me husband and I were able to use their website to upload all of our must play and don't not play lists so Chris could produce an epic show for us! We added a photo booth and the content was epic!! We sat down on a zoom meeting with him, told him the vibe we wanted, and the execution exceeded all our expectations!!! Chris also kept in touch in a prompt manner via email and text throughout the planning process. Our friends and family didn't leave the dance floor until the venue kicked us out! If you're looking to blow your guests minds, you need to hire SoundWave Pros!!

I cannot recommend this company enough! Soundwave provided the DJ+Drums+Sax and uplights for my wedding at Summit House. Chris was really responsive and explained their packages during our first meeting. The portal they use to add songs and info is also really thorough and easy to use.

I ended up choosing Drew Pierce as our DJ and he was AMAZING!! He took my songs that I added to my playlist and totally nailed the vibe I was going for. I had guests tell me that it was the best wedding dance floor that they have ever experienced.

It was so great to be able to add live music to the DJ as well - Diego on the drums and Myles on the sax really helped add to the energy! Definitely recommend adding this on if you have the budget! We also added on the CO2 cannons last minute and it was so much fun. Soundwave made it the most memorable and fun night ever!

We went with Soundwave Productions for our wedding and we couldn't be happier with the service. DJ Drew was professional, friendly, and accommodating to our requests. He played a great mix of songs that suited our taste and kept the dance floor packed all night. He also did a fantastic job of MCing and announcing the events of the evening. He was very responsive to our emails and phone calls before the wedding and arrived on time with all the equipment he needed. We also added uplighting, co2 cannons, and highlight video to our package and we were blown away by the results. The uplighting created a beautiful ambiance in the venue, the co2 cannons added excitement and energy to the dance floor, and the highlight video captured all the best moments of our special day. DJ Drew made our wedding reception a memorable and fun experience for us and our guests.

We also want to give a shout out to Chris Berry, who helped coordinate everything with DJ Drew and made sure everything ran smoothly. He was very attentive, organized, and easy to work with. He took care of all the details and made us feel at ease. We appreciate his professionalism and dedication to making our wedding perfect.

As a former semi-professional musician, I was perhaps overly concerned with the quality of the music at my wedding. In short: I was blown away by Chris & the Soundwave crew. They worked with us to tailor the music for our wedding to our tastes, were prompt, professional, and easy to work with, and most importantly, did an incredible job on the day of the event. We got *so* many compliments on the quality of the DJing and sound throughout our wedding.

My daughter and son-in-law selected SoundWave Productions for their wedding reception in February 2024. The dance floor was full all night long. Alex and Vince (DJ and MC) created a high energy, club-like atmosphere with music and colored lights. The 40-and-under crowd spent the entire night dancing (where do they get the energy ?). Vince MC'd the dinner blessing, "grand entrance," first dances, and toasts - very professionally - and kept the night moving and on schedule . Clearly the bride and groom had the time of their lives - dancing all night with huge smiles on faces surrounded by friends and loved ones. Ask for Alex and Vince - they were great.

My wife and I had the man, the myth, the legend: Chris Berry himself DJ our wedding this past Friday. From
our initial zoom meeting, to our final panning meeting to the wedding itself, Chris was very kind and easy to work with. He was always great with communication and made the planning process stress free. The sound wave team has very user friendly planning portal. I was able to make playlists myself on Spotify and just share them with Chris.

For our actual wedding day, Chris had a set up for our cocktail hour, the ceremony and reception. My brother played the violin during our processional and Chris was also able to prepare a mic set up for that also. During our reception, Chris ABSOLUTELY KILLED IT the entire time. Every one of our guests complimented how great the music was which made the whole reception so fun. Our dance floor was full the whole time.
