Fedwa, who is the small business owner of this one-person shop is WONDERFUL! She really takes her time and listens to what I am asking for and gives her recommendations too. I have had her cut/highlight my hair a few times and it has always come out looking great!

I am a natural blonde and she always gets the highlight color perfect.

She has been super flexible with her schedule and has always been on time for me.

If you live near Old Town, don't pay for those overpriced shops on King! Go see Fedwa!

She took my hair from long/unstyled to chin length and BEAUTIFUL. Professional AND stylish. All I have to say is.... WHY DIDN'T I COMMIT TO HER ONCE I NEEDED A TRIM 7 weeks later????

Today, after a depressing visit to my local Hair Cuttery, I realized that NO, just because a grown-out hairstyle currently exists on my head, an average stylists at Hair Cuttery CANNOT trim it while maintaining the style. (Not necessarily anyway... and that's not enough of a guarantee for me to want to risk that again!!!!)

I came here for a haircut and highlight with a Groupon. After realizing highlights would not work for my hair (I had an existing ombre) she proceeded with just the cut and deep conditioning treatment. The cut came out AMAZING. I have heavy and thick hair, so she cut a ton of layers in and texturized my hair. I shed so much hair without losing length! One of the better haircuts I had.

The space is really small, and it's just her in the salon. She was quiet so it felt kinda awkward. But she really took her time and I was so happy with the results.

Fadwa did an amazing job with my hair. I came in with DIY coloring and she was able to give life back to my hair with the deep conditioning. The highlights she did for me gave my hair more volume and they look very natural (not streaky). I also had a great time chatting with her. I highly recommend Sophie Studio!

Fedwa did an amazing job with my hair, which is thick, curly, long and generally difficult to manage. What's more, she worked incredibly efficiently! I couldn't believe that she shampooed, conditioned, cut, blow-dryed and styled my hair in under an hour.
I'll definitely be going back.

Fedwa is awesome! She totally understood what I wanted and cut exactly the way she said it looked best for my hair type and face. Wash, beautiful cut and style for 54$, this is money well spent! The studio at solas is clean, and her time is for you, and you only! She is an awesome hairstylist. If you want to get a stylish haircut GO to her! Loving it!!

I started getting my hair done via Groupon on 9/25/2014 at Sophie Studio. I am always apprehensive when trying new places, but the setting was perfect. It is a single person salon in a large building with other salons, but that is exactly what I like about it because she is completely focused on your hair and it is done much quicker than in a regular salon where they are doing multiple clients' hair at once.

Fedwa is sweet, knowledgeable and is a perfectionist, which is what you want for a hairstylist right?? For making appointments she just has me text her and she responds quickly and one time she even came on her day off to do my hair!!! I get partial highlights, cut and style for a great price. She has turned my hair around and it is so healthy and I get so many compliments.

I wouldn't hesitate with trying this place out! I love having a "regular" hairstylist and not bouncing around!

Went to Fedwa through a Groupon the first time and she has been my hairdresser ever since. She does amazing things to my extremely fine hair and is a lovely person. I enjoy my time with her and the compliments I receive every time after she worked her magic.
