Sonic Drive-In

So, uh, this just happened...

We park and press the call button. Wait about three minutes. Decide to go through the drive-thru, wait another three mins. Then say "hello" a few times, about a minute apart.

Drive up to the window - they're talking and playing on their phones. NOW I understand why they didn't have the time to take our order.

Someone notices we're there and one of the employees gets an "oh cr** what do you want" look and stumbles over. I'm not a fan of spit in my drinks, so we moved on.

Ive worked these jobs. I know it isn't glamorous or fun and you have to put up with a lot of crazy. But it's a job, and you deliver a service.

This location has issues for sure.

There is a huge construction project going on in the parking lot.

This location has a drive thru, had to repeat my order several times, I assume because of the construction noise. Waited almost 10 minutes in the drive thru (there were only three cars in front of us). When I finally got to the window, I confirmed the order and the employee smugly shook her head and said Yes! Yes! Acting like I was out of line for even asking.

Well guess what? As we drive away, discovered the drink was not the correct one. Waste of time and money.

I like a late, or every now and then a snack, well this is close to me, and let me say, don't come here, horrible service, drive thru is slow, I waited for 20 min, last week so they can tell me it was closed, we drove to the Old Spanish location it is open until one, very polite and fast service , this location here at gulfgate plain and simple Bites!

Was a very bad experience, tried to stop by and get food since its on my way home.

I got into one of the stops and tried for 30 minutes to get my order in (they had a line in drive through so I was being patient and waiting about 10 minutes before pressing the button)

Thinking maybe it was broken I moved to another sign and then that didn't work I called in to see if they were having issues.

They answered and my call lasted for 30 seconds because right after I asked them they hung up on me.

So yeah, worst sonic that I have been into for years. I HIGHLY don't recommend it.

Be aware that they got a clepto working at this Sonic's that always at the window taking your payment and giving you your order, problem is that she gives you your dollars if you're paying attention but she keeps your coins! I have seen her do this a few times to us as we went every day for a while until that. We confronted her the last time we went and said "hey we seen you putting our change in your cup every time we come and we want or change back! She didn't say nothing just took out our part as her cup sounded of a full cup of coins because she didn't have to put her hand far down. I told my guy tell her boss but he didn't bc he didn't want her to lose her job. I said oh well she shouldn't be stealing and didn't let me call in on her! She better be lucky but all warnings to people who go , check your change and get your receipt

We love sonic . but this location is no bueno :(

1. Service is extremely slow.
2.I mean really slow. Like we had to leave before after waiting 30,minutes for drinks !

That pretty much sums it up. We stopped by just because we wanna attempt to get some midday drinks :/

Don't waste your time coming here. Worst customer service!! I tried to order the new ice cream slush for my sister and I. The employee obviously didn't know what I wanted and instead of getting someone else to take my order the stupid lady just turned off the speaker! Who does that?!?! If I could give them no stars I would!

Terrible customer service, i know working for a fast food industry isnt the best, but they should at least train their associates on how to treat a customer, i love the food from sonic but customer service like this makes me want to never buy from sonic again. Every Time i go they always mess up my order. Either that or they always forget to provide condiments or forget something i ordered.

P.s if you're in a hurry this place isnt recommended they take forever.

This places is good when your craving late night dessert or have the munchies!

On the bright side they now have a dollar menu!!!!

I have to agree with the other reviews on the service here. Not only are the loudspeakers so busted that you have to repeat your order 20 times, but you also shouldn't wait 25 minutes for three drinks, no matter how busy you are.
