Good deals on a limited amount of fresh Pepperidge Farm breads - only $.99 each. Everything is at least a dollar less than you would find in a retail store, so that's a deal if you're looking for quality namebrand items. There are a few specials that as long as you like the offered flavorings are a really excellent deal.

The cashier was quite friendly and several staff members were working hard re-stocking. Some prices were shockingly low, especially for batches that were nearing the date stamped on the product. (I'm sure the food would be good for months past that date anyway.) Some prices were not stellar, but did seem to be at least 25% or 33% percent below regular grocery store prices. You will probably see a few products that you would not normally see in your local grocery store.

Still, I would not consider traveling more than about 30 minutes to get here, especially without the tours going on right now. It's a fun diversion, but it is modestly sized, and with the exception of the items with "blowout" type prices, other items are priced similar to the sale prices of your local grocer.

I have to knock them for their bathroom policy. The bathroom is for employees only. Customers are directed to a port-o-potty in the parking lot.

Im not a big fan of chips, but my family loves chips, pretzels... so of course we had to check out the Snyder factory store.
It was big enough. Seems like they have it all. You can even buy some clothing & Christmas ornaments in the shape of a pretzel.
4 out of 5 stars because the prices seem to be close to retail.
Still, worth checking out of you are into these kind of snacks.

First of all, Snyder's was our fave! Until we came to spend the summer about 35-45 minutes away from the factory store. It's pretzel week here so no bakery tours, and the woman who answered the phone was very short and not apologetic at all when she said there were no tours. So we saw their ad in the Merchandizer newspaper, and they had a 30%-off purchase deal as well as many sale and sample items. I did not realize one must tear out the ad and bring it in. I mentioned how far we had to drive to get there to the woman behind the counter. No go... I should have sought out a manager, but after the poor customer service on the phone and in person, forget it! We left without making one single purchase!

A nice organized store. Definitely don't have fantastic deals like you would find at the UTZ factory. But overall a great stop to stock up on goodies

Snyder's pretzel company is named after a town in Hanover, PA. This Hanover, PA location is Snyder's corporate U.SA. headquarter office.

The cheddar cheese sandwich is okay as compare with their original pretzel formula.

Between Snyder's and Utz, little Hanover, PA is the snack-food equivalent of Mecca.
Lots of pretzels and other snack food.
      Good place to take kids.

Not the friendliest place with lots of "Do not take pictures" signs.

The little store is just ok. Be careful what you select. I am one of those unfortunate people who reads food labels and many of their offerings contain artificial flavors. If you're not particular about such things... may deals are to be had inside of this little store on various flavors of highly salty snack foods.

My mom bought probably 8 sacks of various types of broken pretzels. Do they taste just as good as the all in one piece pretzels? you betcha.

As others have said,... i don't know that I would make a special trip here but if I was already in Hanover to shop for shoes, then I might stop over here to pick up a couple bags of salty goodness.
