The place is nicely decorated, however the food is disappointing.
My friends and I ordered the Macaron Party and yogurt shaved ice.
The macaron party was pretty good. The bread was nicely toasted and buttered. There was a good balance of ice cream and bread !
However, their shaved ice was terrible. Had no flavor and it tasted like powder. We told them we didn't want it anymore and asked for a refund. However a refund wasn't possible instead they told us they can make a smaller shaved ice for us for free. So we decided to go with strawberry. Again no flavor and it tasted really strange.
Will not be back!Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 3Oh no 0 - 2859234914Dec 8, 2015
We were looking for a dessert place after 8pm and Snow Crave was the place to stop and get our sweets ON.
Our first visit so we pulled out a menu and took a seat on nice pink chairs and the tables had a pink sparkle In them too so pretty.
Love the boba teas and the taro milk tea , the have shaved flavored ice desserts and honey toast that will fill you up.
I ordered the tiramisu but it was kind like eating frozen whipped cream and not creamy.
I like this place and good music makes you wanna get up and dance with your dessert :)
Will certainly returnHelpful 4Thanks 0Love this 3Oh no 0 - Aug 25, 2015Updated review
It's fucking annoying that this place is too cheap to turn on the air conditioner and they have to leave their doors open. And right outside the doors are fuckers smoking. So where does the smoke go? Inside the restaurant. If I hadn't ordered anything I would soooo leave right now.
Never coming back to this place. With all the other great flavored snow places on Stockton Blvd this is the last place I'd come back to. Disappointed because its a very convenient place after Boiling Crab Dinner.Helpful 4Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0Apr 20, 2015Previous reviewPerfect place for dessert after dinner, especially if your dinner happened to be next door at Boiling Crab! The girls and I ordered almost every option of dessert available. From the brick toast (Jenga tower and single), the snow, boba milk teas, hot teas, and regular ice cream.
Customer service was good, it took a while for the toast, but that was normal. Great place to chill and digest dinner while consuming dessert...because that's in a different stomach, right? :) - 7707381954Aug 7, 2015
Food: Original Sno Ice with mango and condensed milk - the texture of the sno ice was soft and fluffy. It started melting pretty quickly. I thought the original would be more flavorful, sweet or tangy but it was neither. The mango was fresh. 3/5
Service: Fair. Not friendly or rude. 3/5
Final thoughts: I would definitely come back to try other things or a different flavor of sno ice.Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Feb 23, 2015
After discovering the delicious delights and flavor sensations of shaved snow, I just can't get enough! Joe K. and I are becoming regulars at some of the local shaved snow establishments in my area. It seems like they are popping up all over town! But with good reason, these desserts are sooooo satisfying! I would even eat them instead of lunch or dinner anytime!
Sno-Crave is South Sacramento's newest addition to the already saturated area near Stockton Blvd's restaurant row, tea and shaved snow stations. When we entered this shop, I noticed right off that they didn't seem to expect a lot of business. They had limited seating even though there was plenty of floor space available. Luckily for us, we were the only ones there. We received friendly and attentive service from the young lady who manned the floor. She handed us colorful menus that made it extra hard to decide on what to order. The pictures of the desserts were all displayed in a pleasing and mouthwatering presentation.
Finally, we ordered two desserts to share. The first one was a tasty mango shaved snow with sweetened condensed milk and the second item was the "Black Humor" which was a large square building of honey toast filled with 3 scoops of chocolate ice cream and topped with so many delicious cookies, candies and whipped cream that the word "rich" doesn't do it justice! This was our dinner! And I was in a heavenly sweet trance of chocaholism afterward!
I'm looking forward to returning here again for dinner, dessert or just on a whim!Helpful 10Thanks 0Love this 10Oh no 0 - Feb 28, 2015Updated review
I wanted to like this place, I really did... After the plain brick toast and the mediocre milk tea I got on my first visit, I still returned to give them a second and third chance. Sadly today was the final straw :(
I brought my friends here to try out Snocrave for the first time. We ordered the Macaron Party honey toast and for a drink I went with the strawberry milk tea. The Macaron Party is topped with 3 macarons, 3 ice cream flavors and marshmallows (what? I thought it was mochi...). But somehow with all of those toppings, the toast was extremely dry and maybe borderline burnt. Normally I don't mind eating the crust on honey brick toasts but this one was just unbearable.
But that wasn't even the terrible part. I definitely hated the drink I ordered. It was watery, it was sour, it just tasted gross. I even tried to taste it a few more times to see if it would get better and it didn't - even my friends said it was gross. And I am a true boba fan, I finish every boba drink I order to the very last sip even if it's not the best one I've tasted. When the lady cleared our plates and trash I told her she could take my milk tea away (not even 1/4 finished) and she didn't say a word about it. Not to mention she brought the wrong drink to my friend but he was nice enough to keep it anyway.
For my brick toast cravings I plan on sticking to Snowbee or Snobites. More for your money and waaaay better drinks. Sorry Snocrave :(Helpful 5Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0Feb 15, 2015Previous reviewSnocrave is the latest boba and dessert shop to hit the Sacramento food scene so I've been wanting to come check out.
They have jumped on the honey toast and shaved snow bandwagon so today we tried a honey toast. Luckily they're not completely like the rest - they have some "new honey toast" options in the back which feature a tower of toast cubes...those delicious pieces that you usually find precut inside of a brick toast! Yum! We tried the Golden Brick. There's no descriptions but it basically came with vanilla ice cream and frozen berries..just a few though. The toast pieces were perfectly crunchy and chewy, but I would choose a different one next time with more variety of toppings for the same price, even if I have to cut it myself...
Their menu has a million other things from crepes to waffles to milk teas to flavored teas to sweet soup to traditional teas. I went for the honey milk tea and it tasted less than average.. My boyfriend is always the more daring one and he got the mango egg juice which was delicious, even though she warned us it had an actual egg in it (it's mixed in..there's no floating egg yolk). Next time I'll try something different.
Service was good, she seemed bored so she did check on us a lot and make sure we liked everything. They have some games up front so we played checkers.
I'm giving them benefit of the doubt and giving 4 stars since they just opened. I'll be back soon to try a better toast combo and milk tea and update my review and star count! - Feb 20, 2015
I had a pretty decent experience with my friends here last Saturday. We came in with a group of 8 people and were greeted upon entering. The lady at the front quickly moved around tables to seat us.
I tried the earl grey milk tea and the tiramisu dessert. Both items were really delicious! The tiramisu was yummy AND pretty to look at.
Games are available at the front.
What's confusing is that no check was brought to us despite being seated, brought menus, had our orders taken from our tables, and had our items brought to us. We had to go up and pay.
The place is actually *really* nice inside. However, the place lacks seating and it lacks energy. It's not as cracking as the location in Fremont, but I hope things pick up for the business!Helpful 4Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - 1162981470Apr 23, 2015Updated review
I have been here many times now and have to say I like their mixed fruit tea the most out of all the tea shops around here. I have also had their brick toast and that was okay. Customer service is great. I come here so often they remember me. Prices are a little higher than some of the tea shops around this area so if you want cheap flavored tea, this might not be the place for you.
Overall, 5 stars for having the most refreshing tea drink (in my opinion) and for great customer service.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Feb 28, 2015Previous reviewThis place is pretty good. I like their mixed fruit tea the most. The creme brulee was really good also. But I had to minus 2 stars because every time I go here, they do not have the waffles. I don't know what is taking so long, but if you are open for business, at least have every thing on the menu ready.
The place is small and not bad. Menu selection is great, if they can make the items they have on the menu. Service is good too. Will come back again later to see how they do. - Sivilay T.Orinda, CA2816974913Jan 8, 2016

We came across this place while walking the strip after our late lunch at the Boiling Crab a few doors down, on a Saturday.
The place is very nice and clean. You can sit outside as well, but we decided to sit inside since the place was empty when we showed up.
We ordered a few drinks and two orders of the shave snow. My little niece wanted the strawberry flavor while my younger sister wanted the taro so we decided to do half and half.
My nephew and his girlfriend had their own order to share, but I don't recall what flavor they had.
The shave snow was good, service was ok after we got the guy to take our order. My sister also had an ice tea which she liked.
Nice spot to hang out, if you are looking for desserts or drinks just to pass time while waiting for traffic to die down...Helpful 13Thanks 0Love this 12Oh no 0 - Molly M.Sacramento, CA1164127170Dec 30, 2015
I happened to notice the sign one night while going to SF Supermarket for last minute bbq items. I've been to Sno-Crave in the Bay Area and figure I'll try it here and see what's up! Big mistake.
BF and I didn't want to try any dessert that was too big for the 2 of us to finish, so we shared the Belgian Waffle with vanilla ice cream and the hot taro milk tea with egg pudding. Big mistake again.
As I was ordering, the cashier kept trying to point out how much every item cost, and making sure I was ok with the prices. As if, I would change my mind if I knew what it really costed - who do you think I am?!
The hot taro came out first and I was pleasantly surprised that it came in a teapot and teacups, it was super cute! This was the only positive thing about this place. The hot taro was so extremely hot that I couldn't drink it until 15 mins later! It was wayyyy overly sweet, and I know they use Coffeemate powder creamer because I saw them putting in spoonfuls of it as I past by the kitchen earlier. Gross! We couldn't finish it.
The Belgian waffle itself was so plain, and very dough-ey. The vanilla ice cream on top is low quality. Nothing special about this spot at all.
This is kind of a funny one but I also hated the music here. They play rap and hip hop and don't blurb out the cuss words! Hello! This is supposed to be a family spot. Ugh! We're not at The Park Ultra Lounge, ok?!
I will never come back.Helpful 12Thanks 0Love this 10Oh no 0
