I had signed up for a 12 month membership in June, But due to the lockdown from Covid 19, and the mandated shutdowns of ( all businesses * including gyms, etc.), had not been going of course. Yet during these months, I have still been getting monthly dues charged to my card. Now! Even after my membership has fully ended, I'm still finding that they're charging my card for monthly dues for services not even being used! This is very fraudulent, unethical and disingenuous of them. I have notified them to voice my disagreement with this. And hope they'll respond ethically and professionally by refunding these illegitimate charges to my card. But I'd be very wary of these practices by their establishment.

Let me start by saying I like Snap Fitness, and really like how they moved and renovated this Prescott location! It's super clean and usually pretty empty. My sister and I were in town for a holiday and decided to work out at this location together. We went for a couple days, no problem. On our last day everything was normal, we did our warmups, worked our sets in together, spotted each other, gave tips, and then realized we were almost late for a family dinner. We were our the door, almost to our car when we were stopped by a lady coming out of Snap. I assumed at first she was a manager of some sort maybe wanting to welcome us, or let us know about the new women's self defense class coming up. She introduced herself and I guess she was a personal trainer there. We gave our names and she asked for our last names which was weird but we gave it to her. She then proceeded to tell us training was not allowed unless it was done by one of their trainers. We politely told her we were not training each other, we were sisters working out together. She continued to say it wasn't allowed, and to ask staff for help if we needed it. I told her once again this was my sister, and I am in no way paying her to "train" me. We were just working out together. She would not have it. She asked again for our last names. It was uncomfortable. I am not sure if they are hurting that bad for the extra money they get from their personal trainers, enough to chase clients out into the parking lot, but I probably won't go back to this specific location, I guess unless I leave my work out partner at home...

This is very well-run gym and at a great monthly price. Having 24/7 access is perfect and they supply all the necessary equipment for both cardio and weight training workouts. The clientele is very respectful and I never have had any issues with having access to machines.
I personally visit the Gurley Street branch since it is nearer to my home but have visited the Willow Creek location. Both appear comparable.
Overall, I highly recommend this gym.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Alex B.Seattle, WA23562Jul 10, 2013
I have been a member with Snap Fitness for about 3 years and it was beyond amazing! I first signed up simply because it is 24-hr access but the more I went, the more I enjoyed going and spending time there! The training staff is more than qualified and even offered a few pointers while I was there. The actual Snap Fitness staff is also amazing while handling all calls and membership fees/ questions extremely quickly.
The facility is equipped with machines, and directions on them if you do not know how to use them, as well as a full wall of free weights. I would recommend this gym if you are on a budget, and would recommend it for any type of fitness goal.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Josie M.San Diego, CA393021Jan 13, 2011First to Review
I'll start out by saying if you're looking for a pool, locker room, or women with artificial body parts in tight clothing, this gym is not for you. However, if you are on the hunt for a no-frills cardio/weights gym with 24-hour access this place is perfect. There's about 6ish treadmills, 6ish ellipticals, 2 stair masters, 2 seated stationary bikes and one upright bike. For strength training there's a wide variety of machines and free weights. They also have medicine balls, several sizes of exercise balls, whatever those things for step class are called, a bosu ball, and resistance bands. I will admit that at times the "stretching area" gets a little crowded, but have you ever been to a gym where this doesn't happen? I've never had to wait for a cardio machine, which I appreciate. The staff is nice, and although I've never done any personal training with them, based off my eavesdropping it seems as though they do a good job. I always feel comfortable and safe during my workouts (even at midnight and beyond). They take good faith payments for water, Gatorade, etc. if you find yourself in need. The one thing I miss are classes, but for now I'm happy trading those for convenience.

I just joined today. I purchased the 1 month trial for $8.95 and decided to commit to a 6 month membership when that expired. I have been to a few gyms which includes several Gold's. This has been my favorite so far out of all the chains. I am from the big city where you are always crossing your fingers that your favorite piece of equipment is available. Even at the YMCA here in Preskitt I found myself waiting and compromising. It's really irritating when it's a 15 year kid that is goofing off on the equipment which is what I encountered on a regular basis at the Y. I think the price is fair. I like how I am frequently alone there. That is a rarity at most gyms. I am happy with my purchase.
