Skydive Phoenix

I give it 2 stars because I jumped out of a plane and survived. Other than that, nothing else was pleasant.

I bought a Groupon just like everybody else here. However, I don't think that Skydive Phoenix had the personnel to handle all of the customers. We booked over a month in advance, for an early time slot at 11am. They told us to arrive "just a half hour early." It was only AFTER we arrived and registered that they told us the wait would be 4 hours. They also told us on the phone that our party of 3 would be able to go in the same plane; this was not the case. They split our party up, and by the time it was my friend's turn to jump, they decided to cancel all flights because the afternoon winds had picked up. I am grateful that they are cautious, but we booked an early time slot to avoid that very issue.

One tandem instructor hanging out in the waiting area kept talking smack about another instructor. Another instructor told me that the front desk girl gets "booking happy" which exacerbates the wait. Not very professional.

To top it off, they redeemed my friend's Groupon even though she didn't get to jump! That was terrible. Groupon gave her credit for the amount she spent, which we were very happy about.

went with 2 friends to celebrate our landmark birthdays this year (not saying which bday because I don't want to admit I'm old).

this place is awesome! everyone here is really fun and incredibly professional. they explained the process really well and made for an incredible memory.

check-in took about 15 minutes of filling out paperwork and watching a safety video. after that, it was just a waiting game until they called us. once we got called in the person we were going to be hooked to put on our harness and went over the procedure. after that, it was about another 10-15 minutes until we went up. the whole thing took about 2.5 hrs, and it was well worth it!

I'd easily recommend them to any family or friends (or even perfect strangers). shout out to John (video/photo) and Jason (dude that was my big spoon for the jump)! you both were amazing!

Such a scary and fun experience, my first time skydiving. We got there around 9.30am to check in, signed a few forms, we were given instructions a few times just to go over the whole proved, we jumped around 11am. I had second thoughts when I was in the airplane since I had to jump first but my instructor Brad was so awesome and comforting.

We jumped 13,000 feet height with a 45 second free fall. I paid extra $100 and something for outside video. I couldn't have a better instructor for a first time jumping. The landing was smooth and easy.

Definitely a memorable experience! The whole crew was really awesome.

Best experience ever. Everyone is awesome and makes you feel comfortable throughout the process. I wasn't nervous at all for my first skydive so the instructors were able to joke around with us and make it really fun. Can't wait to do it again! Jonathon is rad and is a Bruce Willis look alike which he thought was a hilarious comparison

Jumped for the first time today (12/01/2023) for my 24th birthday!!! I had the best time ever , they convinced me to go all the way up to 13k feet and I was so glad I did! Luis was the best instructor I could have dreamed of and the whole staff is super friendly! They make you feel right at home, safe and like family! Thank you all from the bottom of my heart for the best birthday and best experience ever!

6/5 stars. I felt super safe the entire time. Super encouraging group of people! Easy process. TONS of nerves but we made it!! I don't even know how to describe this experience you just have to SEND IT rock on

This place is amazing!! Took my boyfriend here for his birthday and i'm scared to death to go, so was planning to stay my butt on the ground! But they encouraged i go up in the plane with him to video and i got my own personal plane ride on the way down with Wes and had so so much fun!! The ride even made me less scared about jumping out one day and if i was ever going to actually get up there, i'd go to Skydive Phoenix no doubt. Side note: if you book through adrenaline.com and your time slot says 6 AM, these people do not open till 8 LOL

Such an incredible experience for my first time. From the moment I arrived until the time I touched down on the ground safely, the entire staff made me feel comfortable and lots of encouragement. Since my first time, I went tandem with an experienced instructor (Brad) who made the entire experience something i will never forget. Brad was awesome and made my jump only that much better. This was a bucket list item and I could not thank the entire team, especially Brad and Joey for the once in a lifetime experience. I highly recommend anyone looking to go skydiving, these are the people you want to go to. Additionally, the video from my jump only assists me in reliving the entire jump... I can't wait to go back and do it again. Thank you....

Awesome place.. great crew.. super chill.. fun and experienced but also all business at jump time. Professionals run clean and organized..

My friend and I came here for our first jump ever! The staff was fantastic. I had Randn jumping with me and Hunter as my cameraman, and both were truly amazing. I was given clear instruction on what i needed to do and they made me feel safe the whole time. Would definitely recommend coming here :)

Sooo much fun!! I'm so glad I did this but now that I'm older, I wish I would have done it sooner! I've missed years of jumps that I could have been enjoying! Skydive Phoenix and Jason Allison were the perfect mix of fun and safety. Thank you so much for this amazing adventure!
