This is a nice fun venue. We like coming here for local live theatre. We just saw "The Sound of Music" last night (on 3/8). I forget how nice it was inside. The theatre seats about 200 people. The seating was a little tight on the ground floor. But the chairs are nice and comfy. There is also seating in the balcony section.
The Sound of Music performance was real good for local theatre. I was expecting amateur performances but it was first rate. There was even a live orchestra (small one at that), which was ok. I even got great price for tickets on goldstar. It was nice to see live theatre.
Fun venue with lots going on. Look here for plays and musicals done with local talent and very economically priced. It also serves for occasional SV Chamber events, and every Tuesday afternoon, Roseanne Savo presents her book discussion group. Come to see authors talk about their recent publications, or local folks talk about things of interest.
