Silvestro's Ballroom Dance

Patty is fabulous! She's experienced and is a wonderful teacher. Her prices are great and I wouldn't go anywhere else. If you are looking for ballroom dancing lessons, I don't think you could get any better.

Patty has been dancing since she was 18, and her experience clearly shows. On our first visit, she listened to our wedding song, and took a minute to figure out a style of dance that would fit, and suggested it to see if we liked it. She then worked with us to learn some steps that would be elegant but not too difficult for beginners to learn. The instruction progressed from just learning the basic steps to polishing our form, posture, rhythm, etc. If I or my fiancée didn't understand something, she used different methods to help: explaining, memory cues, standing in for one of us, or doing the steps by herself with one of us behind her mirroring her moves.

Her friendly charm made it a delight to attend the classes, and I'm glad we went with her instead of another studio. Based on another dance instruction estimate I had received, we ended up getting twice the amount of individual instruction at half the cost. We plan to take more dance lessons with Patty sometime in the near future.

Patty is amazing and knows what she is doing! My fiancé and I walked in with no experience at all and she worked her magic! We loved our lessons and highly recommend her to anyone looking to dance lessons of any kind! I now cant wait for our first dance! ITS GOING TO BE AMAZING!

Patty was wonderful. What a sweet and caring lady. My husband was a little unsure about dance lessons at first but what a great experience to partake in together. Patty listened to our vision of our special day and created such a special routine for our first dance. She even threw in the idea of a lift and we ended up doing two! Our guests were wowed to say the least. We hadn't told anyone we were taking lessons so our friends and family were speechless. This experience is something we will remember for a long time. Patty did a wonderful job choreographing our first dance for our wedding. We wanted our first dance choreographed because the song we chose was tough to dance to and we wanted to impress our guests. If there was a move she showed us that didn't fit our style, without hesitation she came up with something else. Patty offers reasonably priced packages and does a great job accommodating your needs. Patty is the best dance instructor! She helped us choreograph our first dance for our wedding. We even threw her a curveball and changed the song with 3 weeks to go. She handled it with grace and came up with a whole new dance for us. Super patient and also great with incorporating your own suggestions into dances. Definitely the best choice in Grand Rapids!
