Wish I could give this place zero stars! Been here for about 3 years. Constant fighting and arguing with the staff. Neighbors throwing shit on my balcony and my car. Had my car towed twice in MY parking spot that I PAY FOR! So $800 later for towing. I had a hairline fracture due to negligence of maintaining the property I told them and they said "we call that environmental accidents" I still to this day can sue for this but have chosen not to. If you know what is good for you I would NEVER rent from CTL Management! Also I got offered a job here and then before I started working they randomly took away my job offer with no reasoning or explanation. I'm a blue collar guy I have years of construction and
maintenance experience and they just dropped me for no reason. Good to know they only hire drunks who barely get the work to passable! go on CTL respond with some BS like curb side appeal! $1400 for a 1 bedrooom with non finished appliances and broken washing machines that CATCH ON FIRE! Security that comes 2 times a day once in the morning for 5mins and once at night for 5mins and all they do is take pictures of the leasing office and leave!!!!! They are not here for PUR SAFTEY AS RESIDENTS! They are hired to make sure the offfice is locked and secure that's it! If you would like to be SCAMMED out of your money go ahead and apply here. I applied here and was told an apartment was move in ready by Elizabeth. I told Elizabeth I was needing to move out asap and she told me basically to apply and as soon as we are approved we can move in. Mind you we spent 85 dollars on an application fee. I got a call from management a day later saying how that apartment is no longer available but we can move into a smaller apartment with none of the same amenities that sold us on the supposed apt that was for sure set aside for us. And I quote by amber the manager "Elizabeth must know more than she does about what happened". I was super unhappy and told them I would get back to them. I proceeded to get another call 1-2 days later that they have an apartment the same size we were looking for but it won't be available until a month from our original move in day. The original apt we paid our application fee for apparently had the original tenants refusing to leave resulting in us not being able to move in. If I would have known someone still lived there I would have never applied for it! TELL ME IF IM WRONG THOUGH an apartment being "move in ready", posted to the website as available, and my family being told that apt was reserved for us to move in the next day means no one should still live there while those 3 key points are being sold to the consumer. Wish I could leave 0 stars as well. Terrible management with no communication with each other going on in their office! The manager Amber is very rude and was no help whatsoever. I was appalled that even though I was very kind over the phone she raised her voice at me and told me that I was wrong. I was told there was no way for my money to be refunded. Complete waste of time and money! In addition to all of that I requested to come view the apt before I applied and no one got back to me on a walk through pulling into the complex the place looks terrible NOTHING like the photos! And don't believe the sorry excuse of a response this review will receive from their management I was already reached out to and got told the same thing. Nothing they can do to help.

First off, we thought we were viewing the unit that was open, but no we were viewing a model unit they show everyone.. and for being a model unit it was not very clean.. smelled horribly like cigarettes have been smoked inside for years. Then as we're leaving someone is smoking weed, blows it on us and our young child. Then pulling out someone flies in going like 60mph like they're in GTA. I don't ever write reviews but I thought it would be important for other young family's to know, unless you want to breathe in cigarette smoke all day, walk away. It was bad

I have been living at these apartments for a year now and I have to say I could not be happier with my decision to move here. The current management (Amber/Cindy) are the nicest and most caring individuals I have ever dealt with since moving to California. These ladies truly care about the residents that live here. Since being a resident, I know with certainty that if an issue arises, and I bring this to their attention they will truly listen to my concerns and correct the problem as soon as possible. These ladies have also been improving the living area, amenities, and apartments themselves. I plan on renewing my lease next month.

First off, the management and maintenance employees are beyond amazing. They are the main reason we stayed for the length of time that we did. We moved in to Sierra in 2016 and recently moved, due to the addition of a family member(my daughter).
Here are my complaints:
1. Parking is terrible. We had to switch cars around when possible to ensure that we had parking when we were off of work. We also had several people park in our designated spot. Unfortunately, nothing is done about this. We were told by the security company that the car can't be towed, until they have done this several times. I think this is a bit ridiculous, as we paid to have the spot.
2. The apartment is OLD. I mean old. The cabinets were terrible and ugly. They were chipped and damaged and the one in the bathroom was coming off the hinges. We tried to fix it, but the wood was so old and the screw would not stay in place.
3. People don't clean up after their pets. There is dog poop all over the place, even though the complex provides dog bags and trash for this. This is concerning, because there are kids in the apartment complex and they drag this poop into the apartment.
4. People smoke all over the campus. The neighbors downstairs smoked pot in their apartment and it seeped up into our apartment. I don't have an issue with people smoking, but I do have issues with them doing it on campus where my family is effected by it.
5. The patio wood is scary. We were afraid to even walk on it, because it would creek every time we walked out on it.
6. The stove is like a million years old. It was a piece of junk. The burners did not heat consistently.
7. The laundry room has sucked. People leave their laundry in the machines, making it hard to do our laundry when we plan to. People also open the dryers and the machines stop, so our clothes wouldn't dry completely. They did have an update, which I think was great. I liked the app and it was easy to see what was available.
8. The air conditioning is terrible. In the summer it would never cool off enough. They replaced it and it still was not as effective as I think it should be. Even over this last winter it was hot. The sun beams off of the apartment that we were in. We had to waste energy costs on AC in winter...
The apartment we were in needs to be remodeled, which I really hope they plan to do. Otherwise it won't be worth what market value is.

We understand that your home was one of our classic styles, and recently we have started the process to upgrade our homes with new appliances and fixtures. We believe that these upgrades will address many of the issues you experienced and we are sorry that we no longer have the opportunity to offer you to transfer to an upgraded home.

They are friendly staff there !!! I been going all over the place trying to find a apartment but sure enough I went here it was hassle free and most importantly they were covid friendly!!! Everyone had on mask and even upon my arrival I was asked to wear my mask before I enter I thought that was pretty cool being that were in these times of bad heath and they are still being a great sport!!! Cool quiet apartments pet friendly but very strict on picking up behind your pets !!

appreciate the service the property management provides here at Sierra Glen apartments. The response to servicing the Maintenance in my place is quick and officiant. The staff makes it a point to communicate and be clear on what is being provided here at the property. I will also mention how the maintenance staff is always keeping the grounds clean; for instance, the dumpster area is always being kept up. If the area is out of control, the maintenance staff is there to clean up. My only suggestion I have is to the residents to be mindful, and be respectful to our neighbors. Let's try to make it in the trash and not throw the garbage everywhere. Thank you again for taking care of my repairs in my apartment.
I understand living in an apartment community is never a perfect one. There is always room for improvement; with that being said, the staff at Sierra Glen always striving to improve overall.
I appreciate the consistency and the professionalism here at Sierra Glen.

The managers are friendly. The environment is okay. The place is pretty tolerable. Maintenance is quick and mostly effective.
However, they have raised rent over $100 every single year at renewal, with absolutely no assistance even when I inquired. Appliances are old and the parking sucks. It isn't worth what they are trying to charge, despite not being an awful place. Any excuse they give about market values is garbage. I can find one-bedroom apartments 1/4 of a mile away for $750 when they want to charge considerably more. We're glad to hear that we've continued to impress you with our staff, maintenance team, and overall environment. With that said, we're also quite disappointed to learn that we haven't lived up to our high standards in other departments of our community. If you ever realize that something isn't working right, such as the appliances, we'd suggest that you submit a maintenance request at your earliest convenience. We understand your frustration with rent increases, and wish we could get away with never increasing that monthly payment. However, rent increases are an unfortunate result of demand, and we can assure you that we research the local market to provide prices that reflect all of that great things that our community has to offer. This including amenities, location, room sizes, and more. If you would like to discuss these prices in further detail, we would be happy to talk to you about them in the front office.
Aug 11, 2015Previous reviewI have lived here for over a year, and I like it. It's great for the price, the neighbors are (for the most part) friendly and hospitable, and the management is great. The maintenance is always timely and prompt, too. And the fact that it is pet friendly is the icing on the cake.

The place is old, which means lot of broken pipes, old appliances, etc. I've had pipes break in my apartment on 2 separate occasions in a 10 month span and other various issues like the oven being broken (they replaced after nagging about it for a while) and now my toilet keeps running which after 3 times, they're still trying to fix. All of it is a pain to deal with, but their maintenance staff is timely and great so it makes up for it.
My only real complain it that they raised my rent by $110 and said it was due to market prices rising. While that may be true, there are plenty of other places that offer the same sq ft and amenities that are at least $50-$75 cheaper than what they'd renew me for. Do not rent any properties from CTL management. This property is infested with cockroaches and dumpster divers. CTL management used the campfire tragedy as an excuse to raise the rent. They raised my rent from 700-1200 in less than 5 years with no upgrades to my unit . Very aggressive rental company , very happy I'm no longer there and will never rent or support anything that's run by CTL management ever again.

Feb 29, 2020Previous reviewWorst rental company I've ever had . They raised my rent from 700-1100 over 5 years. Also when you move out they will charge for everything and anything they can to incurr extra charges and keep your deposit. There was also a shooting in the unit above me and another instance where a tenant lit his apartment on fire. Do not rent from any properties that CTL management owns.
