Don't get me wrong, the food here is GOOD, but I have to agree with another review about the service. It just wasn't good.
My bf and I decided to give this place a try last night around 9. Being it closes at 10, and it was a Weds, there was only one other couple besides us and they were inside just drinking wine.
Lets begin with the fact that we sat down and were starving. We asked for water, which was brought immediately and from there the service was downhill. We also asked for a glass of chianti, but they were out (this is when I start taking note of everything else).
Being it was our first time there we asked for some time to look at the menu. Ten minutes passed by without anyone coming to attend us before my bf had to get up and go inside to flag down a waiter. There is nobody else here, there should be no reason to flag anyone down. But lets get to the food....
Tomato soup- good but I thought it was lacking a little flavor. I would still order it again, though.
Caprese- AMAZING. You can tell the cheese is high quality. The basil and balsamic glaze were also a nice touch. This was DEVOURED.
Shortly after pizza arrived and my bf asked the waitress for a new plate and utensils. I really didn't care about a new plate and proceeded to put that delicious gremolata pizza in my mouth and it was to die for!!!. That cheese, those crispy onions....mmm. Anyway, I finish the slice and my bf is still waiting. I start eating the second slice and he is still waiting. Finally he flagged down a bus boy and he brought out a plate for him. We also had to keep asking for water whenever someone actually would appear.
For dessert we had the Pizzanella and the chocolate soufflé which were so perfect. And then again, had to get up and ask someone for the check.
That being said, I don't mind waiting and never expect service to be perfect, but c'mon! We are the ONLY people there. How could you possibly forget about us? Why did we constantly have to flag someone down??
The food here is DELICIOUS, but the service could definitely use some help.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Cindy D.Miami Springs, FL01Mar 3, 2024
We live in Miami Springs very close this restaurant. The food and ambiance are consistently good. We're not happy, however, with the single use plastic straws that drinks come with, half unwrapped and stuck in your glass, like it or not. Earth to owners! Single use plastic is bad for the planet! Please see Debris Free Oceans, to learn more about why you should stop serving drinks with plastic straws, especially when your customers don't need or want them. Thank you.

Good service , delicious food, nice ambiance. The only con is no bread served before food.

This place really is a 4.5 in my book but there's no way to rate that. When we got there we parked in the lot next door to it, but as we entered the building they said that was for Truist bank and we had to go back out and move the car as it was sprinkling rain. That was an inconvenience, so before you go, remember to parallel park off the main street that runs through off Curtis.
The restaurant was clean, and very nice to look at. The service was great, and the food came out fairly quickly. We had two glasses of wine each, the bruschetta, two fiocchi pastas, tiramisu, and a panna cotta which came out to a total of $120 roughly. Which I don't think is too bad, it's pretty much the average now-a-days. I really liked the food, there was just a few hit or misses like the seasoning or the execution but it's a good restaurant!Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jul 1, 2023
Cute little Italian restaurant located in the heart of Miami Springs. When you first walk into this restaurant you'll notice the chic decor, lively ambience and delicious aroma of fresh out of the oven pizza.
We were immediately seated and handed menus, which were followed by glasses of water and fresh bread shortly after. The menu had so many different options to choose from, but since I went on a weekend, I decided to try their brunch menu! I have been trying to eat on the cleaner side so I had the steak and eggs and it was delicious! My friend had the lobster ravioli and he was raving about it! Would definitely come back to try their other dishes!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Diana B.Miami, FL523124Dec 26, 2023
This place is top notch. I brought my pops in today for his birthday for the first time with my sister. They both loved it. Plus he got a Nutella gelato for his birthday that was velvety and the nutella taste was so rich. The food is delicious. We had pizza and I love ALL their coal fire pizzas. I've never had a bad one. The Fiocchi di Pera e Gorgonzola is so creamy and tasty. Their customer service is great. Everyone is always polite and welcoming. You can sit where you want, downstairs or upstairs for a more intimate setting. And the ambiance is relaxed and inviting. I've been coming here for years and years, since it was in the old establishment, with just bar seats. It keeps getting better and better.

Great food and service. Very nice restaurant around the Miami Springs Circle. Service was great and Antonio did an amazing job as our server. This time we ordered tomato creamed soup, a few pizzas and beer. Soup was amazing, it was made with what I think is ricotta to make it creamy. I would definitely order it again if available. The pizzas were all great. Wood fire oven, very thin, cooked perfectly.
So why the 3 star rating? Well, the restaurant air conditioning was cold, and that is not a bad thing. But the vents were blowing right on top of us nonstop. We made a few comments to the staff and they said they would try to adjust it, but the problem was not raising the temperature of the place, the problem were the vents pointing down directly at us. With the very high ceilings, is a bit difficult to adjust with people dining. We didn't ask to move the table because there wasn't really a place to move it to. The biggest issue of having the air blowing on top of us is that it made our food cold very fast, not a big deal when having pizza but if you were having any other hot dish, not good. Again the server was very nice and even offered dessert on the house, which we gracefully declined because we were pretty full and no need to waste food that we weren't going to eat. A+ on being nice. But for the management: please fix the vents so they are not pointing down to any table. We appreciate keeping the place nice and cool but having cold air blowing on your head, shoulder and back for over an hour made me feel I was catching a cold.
Will definitely revise my rating when I go back and the experience improves.
In the mean time, definitely visit this restaurant, is really good, but bring your sweater or either sit outside or in a table that doesn't have a blizzard pointed to it.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0May 1, 2022Previous reviewThis is one of solid places that you can't go wrong. We have been here many times. Today we came for Sunday brunch. We had the Meat and Eggs, Shakshuka, burrata, French Toast, pancakes, and cappuccino. The meat was a bit overcooked but probably because it was very thin. It it was twice the thickness but kept the same weight, it may be easier to cook it to the perfect doneness. The French toast was great... so good that I didn't have a chance to take a picture of it because it was devoured in seconds . The pancakes were outstanding, my 8 year old ate the entire thing and when asked 3 quarters of the way if he was done eating, he replied "no way! These are sooo good I need to finish it!". The burrata is a solid appetizer. The Shakshuka was very good if you like spicy food. Is basically two over easy eggs resting on top of a spicy tomato sauce. This sauce would go well on pizza, bread, pasta... you name it. And the cappuccinos were made to perfection. Just wished the cups were bigger because I could have drank two of them.
Service was excellent even though they were really busy with pretty much every table filled and a large party upstairs. We waited a bit for the food but it was not an unreasonable wait and it was understandable with how many people where there.
Here is a pro tip if you are going to sit upstairs: since the upstairs is like a loft, and you wear very short skirts or dress, people downstairs can (and will) see your bottom, uncensored, even if they try not to. - Samira M.Hayward, CA207713Dec 14, 2023
We came here after landing in Miami from Sint Maarten. We were greeted by a very sweet Italian gentleman and he gave us recommendations- we had the bruschetta, pepperoni pizza, and aglio oglio. Our food was great- we especially loved the pizza. Our experience really made us feel like we were back in Italy. Would definitely come back next time we're in Miami!
