Mark is great!

I was in Topeka this past Memorial Day weekend to attend a wedding when disaster struck. The bride was having wedding day jitters on Friday, and she accidentally backed her SUV into the groom's pickup. She broke her passenger-side tail light; and it had to be replaced immediately that day, or there would be no wedding bliss.

After looking him up on Yelp, I called up Mark. Although he was not able to supply me the part himself, he went the extra mile and told me where I could find it. The man is great. There was absolutely nothing in it for him, but he still went the extra mile to help me out. I was able to install the tail light before the wedding and averted a disaster.

I will be forever grateful to Mark for helping me save the day. Thank you!

My truck was acting up on the road so I googled shops in Topeka and found them. They were nothing short of outstanding! Identified the problem and had me fixed in 24 hours. Mike is a brilliant mechanic and knows his stuff! Couldn't be happier with the service!

The staff at this place is below unprofessional. I dont have experience with their work as ill never bring them any of my vehicles after my experience with their employees. It started at spangled where I was eating breakfast when their employee came in and sat in the booth next to me. We were the only two customers in the whole store. I told the man that its supposed to be every other table per the sign on th
e table for social distancing. He told me he didn't give a f#&k. It escalates to us both going outside and he. Ontinued to threaten mr. I told him I was going to call the storeys and report him and he again said he didn't give a f$*k. Eventually we went inside and the staff asked him to move and he did. I called Shoreys and Justin answered and told me they didn't care about any of it and if I wanted to get my ass kicked I could come on down. I cant believe how unprofessional and un educated these people are. They won't get any business from me or anyone I know.

My son and I broke down 25 miles west of Topeka on route to Colorado from Michigan. We had our '96 Lexus LX450 towed to Shorey after finding good reviews online. We are very happy with all aspects of the service. They found a way to fit us in so we could quickly get back on our road trip. They were able to identify the issue fairly quickly (small, hard to reach coolant system hose had failed) and then find a suitable replacement (despite the lack of availability of exact parts due to the car's age). We were back on the road in about 3 hours. I really appreciate the way they talked us through everything and engaged with us in the process. I feel very confident in the repair and the price was very reasonable.

If I could I would give them a ZERO rating, but I'm required to give a rating to post a review so 1 star it is. DO NOT use this company I repeat DO NOT EVER use this company. Had my truck for 3 weeks told me it was too old to get parts and pull codes. Knowing that up front would have been nice. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY, this is for your own good.

My van door wouldn't unlock so we couldn't open it. We're new to Topeka so I looked on Yelp and found Shorey's. They found the lock was jammed on the door and were able to loosen it up and get it working. They could have replaced the whole mechanism but stopped when it started working. What easily could have cost $500 ended up being less than $65. I appreciate the honesty and integrity and will definitely be using them again.

I was looking for a used car and called the guys at Shorey's on short notice to get a pre-sale inspection for $100. They are all great! Very professional. They got me right in, gave me a great inspection and were very helpful. Didn't buy that car but they gave me an inspection on two other vehicles free of charge which was so awesome because I ended up not buying them because of what was found and didn't have to drop $300 on inspections that day. Also if they find a problem, the $100 goes towards repairs so definitely money well spent to avoid buying the wrong vehicle! They are fair and honest and I would definitely trust their work.

We were driving across the country, had a strange vibration develop, and the team was nice enough to take our car for a drive and give their opinion. They were genuine, helpful, and very professional.

Well they did replace my fuel pump and did a fine job, but they broke my hood latch at some point working on my car and never told me about it. Plus the guy who served us in the lobby was acting extremely strange, just staring off into space while we were talking to him. I personally wouldn't go there again but they did repair my car.

I can't say enough good things about Mike! My son is in Topeka, temporarily, for an internship and the van wouldn't start. I found Mike through Yelp and contacted him about the problem. While it was a major repair, Mike was very reasonable and pointed out other things that we knew needed attention. Mike was the first mechanic to figure out the problem that our mechanics at home could not. This man knows his trade and would recommend him to anyone living in Topeka.
