Shigs In Pit

I hope and Pray that an Owner and or a Manager will see this review. I stopped in at Shigs n Pit on Fairfield on Saturday November 11th and I had a simply amazing & wonderful experience !! THANK YOU.

Yes, the food was outstanding However the service I received from the Gentleman that waited on me was EVEN MORE WONDERFUL AND APPRECIATED !!

The young man's Name was Isaiah Robertson and this young man went above and beyond to treat ME with the utmost respect and Kindness !!

I WILL return to Shigs N Pit due to the service I received !! 5-stars !!!!

Great service friendly atmosphere, the pulled pork Sammie with pimento cheese and coleslaw is absolutely amazing! I look forward to trying more items from here!

Great BBQ spot! So many meat options I asked the friendly cashier to help me decide what to order. Witty signs throughout the building. I was so focused on the menu special board I didn't see the hairy pig until we left.

Green Chili Mac is a must have side! Burnt Ends were the best I've had in a long time. Corn "spoon" bread is good enough for dessert. Be prepared for left overs.

Pretty sure my $20 lunch was a reheat from previous night...Hines and ends were all cold still!!

$21 for 10 pieces of burnt ends and two sides of cole slaw (with tip). That is insane.

Just skip this place. We were there on a Sunday and I got a rib tip dinner? Basket? Not sure. Anyway, the tips were dry and greasy at the same time. I also got some sort of potato casserole that had cornflakes on the top. It too, was oily. The sauces that were on the table were good. But all of the grease sat pretty heavy in my stomach and I didn't eat for the rest of the day.

What a great place for some good food. Loved the whole set up they had inside. Great selection of foods with some unique sides that are delicious. I had pulled pork, burnt end brisket, apple pie baked beans and their French fries! We finished with some dessert and that was so yummy (lemon curd pie)
