I took my daughter to Dr. Aston after using him over 30 years ago. I could not have been any happier! I would not have had this much trust in any other doctor.

The lady that did the review about Dr Aston is completely out of her mind, Who on earth gets cheek implants at your age. I am from New York and I know Dr. Aston personally. He is the top plastic surgeon in the world. Therefore please disregard the crazy person who wrote the negative review.
Do not request cheek implants unless you are Cher. Please. Plastic surgery looks as best as your body can handle it, your body may reject causing cheek implants tol come out wrong. I am a Doctor and we understand plastic surgery better then anyone.

DR. ASTON IS A BUTCHER AND A DISGRACE TO PLASTIC SURGEONS EVERYWHERE. PLEASE I BEG YOU TO GO TO ANY OTHER DOCTOR. If my review helps just one person choose a different doctor, I will feel somewhat vindicated.

I am a girl in my early 20s who was looking to get cheek implant to enhance my natural beauty. I was getting a lot of injections in my cheeks and was looking for a more permanent solution. INSTEAD I was butchered. Dr. Sherrell Aston performs a cheek augmentation that left me disfigured. I couldn't smile at all or even lift the corners of my mouth. My implants were so big and misplaced, and left my cheeks hanging low and my face looking wide and abnormal. I had a beautiful smile before and after my implants I couldn't even see my own teeth because how the big the implants were. I reached out to two other surgeons for consultations, one in San Francisco and the other in Richmond, and both agreed Dr. Aston's work was shoddy. AND YET Dr. Aston blamed ME initially for his incompetence, claiming my lip and prior use of cheek filler caused the damage (which is utter nonsense as I had been getting dermal fillers for years prior to the implants).

My cheek implants were THANK GOD removed 7 months later or so, but I am still having issues smiling and my face is still puffy and low, leading me to believe I may have permanent muscle and nerve damage. I am disgusted with everyone on the staff. His patient coordinator Debi KNEW that Dr. Aston botched my surgery yet getting a hold of anyone in the office proved a huge hassle. I am just praying to God that in the next very months I regain some feeling and movement back in my face now that the implants are out and my face returns to it's pre op state. Dr. Aston is a disgrace. I hope you read this Sherell!! You should be ashamed to have potentially ruined a young girls life.

As an update to the comment below- unfortunately this was my experience at your sham of a doctors office, otherwise I would have happily gone through with my rhinoplasty! FYI everyone- they make you wait at least 30 minutes till someone acknowledges you. Seriously go anywhere else!

Not great, and I wouldn't recommend to others. Had to get his work fixed somewhere else

I became Dr Astons patient as a teenager and then returned as a middle aged man. His staff makes you feel important and Dr Aston is not only the best Plastic Surgeon in New York, but, he is a kind humble gentle man. As a man I was very concerned about having a facelift, but, knew it was something I wanted to do. His work was perfect and subtle and I walk around not looking "done" There are two other very impressive Plastic Surgeons in New York. I have seen their work and it is easy to spot. And that is why I didn't use them. I will be back to Dr Aston again. I can't say enough good things about him or his staff.

Both Dr. Aston and Alix his PA have done my Botox in the past when I lived in NYC and a little lip filler too. Dr Aston is a master at his craft who really understands the concept of true and natural beauty as you can see in his work, and Alix is a very skilled PA injector. You can't go wrong here!

I was referred to Dr Aston by a client of mine that works in the OR. She said he was the best in the business, but besides all that he is a very down to earth and funny man. : ) He and his staff were amazing and made me feel right at home. I am very pleased with my experience and will definitely use him again in the future as well as refer him to all my friends.

The two people who wrote negative reviews sound like lunatics. There are crazies in any group and they try to take out their unrealistic expectations on their doctors.
Pay no attention at all to their nutty reviews. All the society women in NYC would not be going to Dr. Aston if he did not make them look good. I guess world famous movie stars have gone to him because they wanted to look horrible and thus ruin their careers.
I have been to Dr. Aston twice myself. I am 74 and can pass for 65. Plus Dr. Aston was very charming and really went out of his way to create a procedure that left no visible scars. The after care service is deluxe.

I made an appointment with Dr. Aston. He charged me $200 for the consultation, which was unusual for a plastic surgeon... He kept me waiting for an hour and a half and never even apologized for his tardiness. When he finally did arrive, all he did was brag about himself and how great he was. I asked him about a certain procedure, which he said did would not work. I later had the procedure done by another doctor and was extremely satisfied. I can't understand how, two years ago, he was on Castle Connolly as one of the best doctors. He is no longer on their site - I guess they finally got his number... Be careful - he's more of a snake salesman than a doctor.
