Great little pub. Very friendly staff, great beer selection, and good food. The bartender made an effort remember all of our names and joke around with us. There are more than ten different beers on tap and they are happy to give you samples. The cajon chicken fingers are definitely worth trying as well as the teriyaki wrap. All and all it is a great place and I will definitely be coming back.

It's been a while since I hung out in bars but that may change. My friend suggested we try the fish and chips here. I got the Reuben instead. She was happy with her choice as was I. The staff is friendly and the service prompt.

Next time I won't be on antibiotics so I'll be able to order a drink. Or 2. I'm looking forward to going back especially because this bar reminds me so much of a bar I used to go to back in NJ. Been a long time since I felt so comfortable in a pub!

Thanks Shenanigans for your hospitality. We will be back!

One last thing...wasn't enough meat on the sandwich which is why I didn't give 5 stars.

#ThankYouThursday we appreciate this local joint staying true to its roots serving up great drinks and some of the best fish and chips around. It's a cozy little pub with a great staff and lots of local regulars so thankful to have places like this in the area!!!

Busy place on a Friday evening for dinner. We sat at the bar and Erica, the barmaid was super nice. I asked about drink specials and she directed us to the $3 draft special. "Sure! we will take two of those please!" The beer was tasty, great rich golden toast in color but.......it was Warm beer! Oh no! I asked Erica if the beer was on special because it was warm and she was very surprised as she said she had been serving it all day. She checked and sure enough, the keg fridge had been shut off the night before. She took our beers and replaced them with anything we wanted on tap and gave us the special price. She was very thankful that I had mentioned something to her.
I ordered the bar burger. Comes with a side of cole slaw or fries but I upgraded to the onion rings for an extra buck. It was a decent sandwich: nothing special, but still tasty and came out hot. The onion rings had good flavor but the breading was just a bit too thick for my taste. (im picky about my onion rings!)

My dining partner ordered the Grilled Turkey avocado on sourdough. She also had the coleslaw as her side. The sandwich, according to her, was good. Could have used a bit more avocado. It was warm and grilled to a nice light brown. The cole slaw wasnt slaw. It was just plain old chopped cabbage. No dressing, no flavor.

I would consider coming back as I love dive bars and this place qualifies. I heard that they have good fish and chips and the staff was super nice. I appreciate how they fixed the problem right away. A few things that could have went right with the food and they would have had a 4-5 star review. Overall I liked it and will give it another try soon. Try it out and see for yourself.

Onion rings. A bit to "bready" if I'm being honest.

I woke up craving some fish and chips, my friend told me about this pub to try their's. I actually liked my fish and chip dish (4/5). I also like the entire atmosphere there. They have a great selection of beers and drinks.
Waitress was super nice and recommended some drinks for us. Also I really liked the decoration in there.
Easy parking so u never have to worry about that.

Again and again I'll say it, if you haven't been to this hole in the wall place, you need too. The feel of an old Irish pub with dimmed lighting. We always have great service here, friendly and fast! Did I mention that they also have amazing prices on their food. I had to try another salad this time as I always have their house salad that has baby shrimps on it. This time I got the regular size Cobb Salad. It was delicious and filling. We also got the tuna melt again, which is always amazing along with the fries. My hubby tried their spicy hamburger which I forgot what it was called. He also loved it. We don't eat here often because we will over 40 miles away but when we are in town this is our place. Quite honestly we were in town to try Reno's food truck Friday. We went, we saw, left and came here instead. That's what we think of this place. Not to mention they have a great bar!

Nice atmosphere, good menu but more American than British on the menu except for fish n chips. No shepards pie or bangers and mash.

2-3 years later and the words in Michael T's 2020 Shenanigan's review still hold true! One of the best wings in Reno - crispy, not overly-saucy, finger-lickin' good!

The space inside was a little tight but definitely reminiscent of a typical English or Irish pub. The crowd was fun and loud, which added to the divey-ness of it - in a good way. But I was there to test Michael's review years later. Would it hold true still? Was this a good place for the rub?

In the end, the service was good and the wings were even better! The sauces were tasty and the chicken was plump, juicy, crispy, and well-sized, unlike some wings I've had that are small and scrawny. The ranch dipping sauce was very creamy too. Very good companion to the vinegary Buffalo sauce which captivated my senses.

I don't normally review anything on here but after my most recent experience, I felt compelled to praise this establishment. I went last Thursday evening at about 11:00 pm. I'm a musician and often, my rehearsals get out at 10:00 pm and it's tough to find a good quality place with drinks & FOOD that late at night. This was my 3rd time visiting Shenanigan's and I have to say that the beer and everything I've tried off of the menu so far has been really good. Everything; hot, fresh, tasty, exactly as one would hope everything would be. The beer was excellent and they have a good variety. The atmosphere is lively (in a good way), fun and I've really enjoyed myself every time. The service is top-notch, and I can tell they really care about you as a customer and they really go out of their way to make sure youre happy and enjoying everything. I will definitely be going back!

Great, very busy atmosphere. Pleasant bartenders. However...the first beer we ordered was warm due to someone turning off the refrigerator without the bartender knowing. She promptly gave us something else. Turkey and cheese on sourdough was very good. Unfortunately the cole slaw that came with it was dry as a bone-no dressing at all! Up in the air if we will try this place again...
