Shenanigans

Even on such a busy day. Best place to go for a great time, flowing spirits, and the best experience of any Irish pub I've been in. Happy St Patrick's day!

my husband and I were visiting Dahlonega and we had shenanigans delivered to our cabin. My Husband had the Irish stew, and I had the shepherds pie. It was so wonderful that a couple of nights later we had it a second time. The cracked dip is exactly what it says. It's like crack! You will love it so much you will what more and more. I can't say enough good things about shenanigans. The general manager and the owner are awesome! Please go and go often. You won't be disappointed.

This place is a hoot! The ambiance is definitely pub and local college bar all mixed together. And the staff is both laid back and efficient.

As for food, I cannot say enough good things about the Guinness burger!!! The only downside is that it is so filling, you might not be able to finish it. And your taste buds will resent your stomach.

The grouper sandwich is magnificent and if you order it blackened you will thank yourself and the kitchen.

All in all, a great place.

If you like eating at a cold outdoor glass table with dirty insulation hanging over your head you will love this place.

Girl seating was horrible no customer service whatsoever. I specifically asked to be seated inside, waited 90 minutes after told 60 minutes. Well we were seated on there porch that wasn't heated in December. When I asked to have the next available table inside the front hostess wanted to put me in the back of the waitlist. She said the porch is considered inside I told her why doesn't the inside tables have outdoor furniture then like the porch and it has heat. It's unfortunate because our waiter was actually good. Too many good restaurants in this town to deal with this again.

We put our name on the waitlist on Yelp about 30 minutes before we arrived and when we got there, we were number 3 on the list to get sat. We got a beer from the bar and our table was ready! All the servers were working together and took our order immediately. Food came out insanely fast. The mussels were absolutely delicious! I loved the sauce with the bread too. Hubby liked the bangers on a bun too. Great place!!!

In order to take advantage of a great reservation system, one must be connected on Yelp!! Their system works great. Ordered drinks at the bar prior to seating for dinner. Prices were very reasonably priced. We sat and enjoyed our drinks sitting next to a fire pit chatting with other guests. Such a great atmosphere. We're seated on time from what was estimated by the hostess. Great job here. We were seated at an outside table with a small fire pit in the middle. Very cool!! Our server Katie, greeted us with a smile even though knew she was up to her eyeballs in tables with lots of guests. Katie's service was great!! Caring suggestions on menu selections very knowledgeable about the menu and gluten free items (gf). Ordered a combo appetizer of house crisps, FF and beer battered onion rings. Very good. I add the garlic aioli for dipping. Great choice!! We then ordered shepherds pie and the Bangers and mash. Both very good dishes. Wine beer and a hot cocoa with amaretto. Good food and beverages!! Thank you Katie for an enjoyable evening. A must try folks!! The town was decked out for Christmas!!
Definitely need to join in the festivities. Katie rules!

Omg!!!!! Amazing place to check out in this cozy town! The food was delicious and the staff is friendly and welcoming!

Food, service and ambiance were all top notch. This was our first time in Dahlonega and I think we found our go to place when we return. Staff works real well together and makes sure everyone is satisfied. To me it displays a well managed staff and happy employees.

3.5 stars. The ambiance was pretty good. We were there in the middle of the week and it was pretty crowded so I would get there early. I wish I could have enjoyed some of the live music and the bar area. That looked pretty fun. The service was pretty good although she seemed stress so I detect they don't have enough staff but we were well taken care of. The food was pretty good. I had the fish and chips and my husband had the burger which he said was really good. My uncle got a baked cod salad. It looked so yummy and healthy. I shoulda grabbed a bite! My aunt had The Murrayville and she said it was excellent. The drinks were fabulous. I had a key lime martini and it was to die for.

Great service and environment is nice. Food tastes good and reminds me of a welcoming pub environment. Only thing that keeps me from giving 5 star is that food is stereotypical of what Americans think Irish eat. But it's good food none the less
