Local sub shop with full bar and plenty of dining area. 3 rooms: sub shop, dining room, and the bar.

Ordered the Vinny Sub, extra jalapeños. It was tasteful, would recreate this elsewhere.

Unfortunately, the service was poor. No one spoke when we walked into the bar. We walked over the sub shop side, no one greeted us. They were behind because others orders were wrong.

Our order came out wrong as well. When I inquired, the man in the back was flustered and gave attitude. Tossed the receipt to me to show that the jalapeños were not rang in on the ticket. I wasn't upset about it being wrong, I just wanted it to get fixed. They fix it and give it back.. accidentally giving by me a whole different sandwich. So I had to go back and let them know they gave me the wrong sandwich. Ended up getting the right sandwich.. and just left.

Food was decent, but service ruined it. There is definitely other places to get a great sub sandwich.

We were in the mood for sandwiches and decided to check out Shannon's Deli in downtown Lombard. The pasta salad was lacking a lot of flavor. It just tasted like noodles with a little grated cheese on it. The potato salad was alright. I prefer my homemade potato salad over theirs. We ordered two sandwiches as well which were the Italian and American subs that come with a pickle spear. The American sub was drowning in mustard and browned lettuce. The Italian sandwich was very chintzy on the meat. It was a very thin layer of Italian meats on bread. We paid $37 and it was definitely not worth it. I was really looking forward to trying this place and supporting a local business, but unfortunately it came up short for us. We won't be returning.

Amazing shrimp po boy! The first time I went they were sold out and I was so sad, but ever since, they've been good at having the sandwich. A little pricey, but the flavor makes up for it! A nice reward on a Friday after working hard during the week.

I don't know why Shannon's is closed at 9:42pm on a Friday night during the first weekend of March Madness!

Unfortunately, they were closed. I don't know if it is a permanent thing but the hours say open Monday. Went on a Monday afternoon and sign said closed. Maybe call before you go. Not sure what is going on.

Sandwiches are good same as the brats, simple but tasty. Service is very speedy and kind. Rooftop seating is nice and the indoor has a nice sports bar feel. Desserts are good, sandwiches are better.

I'm May we celebrated my daughter in law's graduation at Shannon's Deli. The party was a huge success. The staff was so accommodating. The food was so amazing and the space was perfect. We had the downstairs to decorate and hangout and than you could go on the rooftop for a change. I highly recommend. Even if you are not having a party just go for the food

If you're in the area, this Deli does a good job with a nice selection of salads to go with your lunch. As good, if not better than all the other shops similar, so you'll not be disappointed.

Everyone is very nice and friendly. Three stars may not be fair since we only had the corned beef sandwich and potato salad. I can't seem to find a real corned beef sandwich anywhere in DuPage County with the exception of Schmaltz Deli. I am from the city and it's important to have real rye bread. I was happy to see it had seeds but the bread was soft and the corned beef very chewy. The potato salad was different and extremely good. I thought I would try their corned beef because someone reviewed as the best they ever had. Everything looks fresh and I will give it another shot with a different type of sandwich. I like what they have done to add to downtown Lombard, but my review on the corned beef remains disappointing.
