I am beyond happy with how my elderly dog looks and smells. Our old girl gets terrible tangles in her hair and usually looks like a hot mess. She is a Bernese Mountain Dog/Golden Retriever mix. She's got long and thick hair that becomes very hard to manage on our own. And she's an old girl who has bad knees and hips.
I was able to make an appointment quickly and on my schedule. I first heard about Shaggy To Chic from Miranda on Facebook - Miranda is one of the washers at the salon. She was friendly and wanted to hear about my dog. Because of her, I decided that I wanted to try them out and I am so pleased that we did. Lily is home now and very happy.
We look forward to our next grooming experience at Shaggy To Chic. Thank you all.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Business owner information

Thank you Whitley for squeezing Koa in the same day! This was Koa's first professional grooming experience and Whitley, Shaggy to Chic's owner and pet groomer, took good care of him. He looks very handsome with his new do.
I added a few more photos of Koa showing off his haircut. Thank you Whitley!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0Business owner information

I made an appointment to weeks ago to bring in my doggies at 1:30 PM I get there and they're telling me that I didn't make the appointment at 1:30 I made it 1pm and they now didn't have time to care for my dogs. So they sent me away so now my dogs are dirty I got a wait two more weeks. I'm not gonna take them back to this place!
Poorly run operation.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0Business owner information

Sorry you feel this way sir, but your appointment was at 1pm and you were 30 minutes late. We have a sign up front that states if you are 15 minutes late we will have to reschedule you. You opted to not reschedule after we asked if you would like to reschedule. Sorry you didnt get your dogs groomed we will be more than happy to take them in again.

both of my dogs hate getting their nails trimmed or grinded. I am so lucky to have found Whitley and everyone at Shaggy to Chic-they are so patient and accommodating. They actually get DOWN ON THE GROUND in the lobby to make it easier and less stressful for my dogs!!!! I think their prices are reasonable, I am so grateful for how they treat my babies that I feel it's a steal! I've been taking my dogs there for over a year, and one of our dogs needs her nails trimmed every 2-3 weeks so we go often. Never been disappointed. They are so compassionate and caring, doing everything they can to calm my dogs when they get nervous! love this place!!!!

Have been coming to Shaggy to Chic for years.... Whitley loves our animals (two dogs and a cat) and they love (and trust) her! They get excited when I tell them "let's go see Whitley!"
They are so accommodating, responsive and prompt... And most importantly they never leave the "kids" in the crates too long reducing their stress.
Can't say enough good things about the entire gang at Shaggy to Chic!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Business owner information

Was not impressed by the care I received for my dog, he was cut up from them trying to hurry up. They did not finish what they were asked to do to him, and I have to take him to someone else! He is also terrified to be brushed down due to it. They left clumps of hair where they did not shave him. I will not go back and would like to advice everyone to not go here at All.
If it was an option I would give this place a 0 star...Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Business owner information

I'm sorry but you must be talking about the wrong salon. I havent even opened my location since the virus started. I havent been grooming since the end of February. I'm sorry for your experience with the groomer you went to that was not our salon. When we are up and running you are more than welcome to check us out for a better experience. Have a great day!

My dog is nearly 8. Whitley has been grooming him since he was 6 mo old. He gets so excited as we pull up and genuinely loves Whitley. He requies a lot of grooming, he's a cockapoo, very fluffy, she is so kind and patient with him. She knows my guy is so precious to me. I trust her 100%. I highly recommend her Salon.

ANIMAL ABUSE , never allow them to groom your dog. Vet bills 600 plus after this experience, my dog could hardly walk for 2 days after from the abuse. After 2 hrs of wondering what was going on I went outside to peek into the van and what I saw was ANIMAL ABUSE. took video to show to my lawyer to see if we can build a case. Never use this service for your animals sake.

I’m sorry but you have the wrong salon as I am not a mobile groomer. I am terribly sorry for your experience with this other business but it was not mine. We take pride and special care of all our furry and non furry clients.

I went to this place based on the reviews...I'm thinking the people who were unhappy with the services simply didn't leave reviews. I took my three dogs in and was happy with the overall drop off exerience.
However, when I went to pick them up, my puggle was shedding like crazy. His hair was flying everywhere. ALL of them were actually still extremely wet. She also pointed out that my Puggle had injured his toe nail and that it must have happened before he got there. He was 100% perfect when he walked in that door. They were panting like crazy, but I didn't think anything of it. I paid and even tipped the gal.
As soon as I got the dogs in the car, hair continued to fly everywhere and my pug was about ready to pass out. I pulled over to buy water and all three of my dogs downed three bottles of water. They were completely parched. I immediately called the salon and asked why the hair was everywhere and why they were not given water. After a lot of running around in circles, they simply said I needed to ask them to give my dogs water. I know we are in a drought, but that is ridiculous.
I was told the owner would be calling me next day. It is now a week later, and no call.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0
