Season's Best Seafood

Haven't been here in ages nor sure if they're still open, I can't edit this without saying something so I'll give it 3 stars as a guess

This place is awesome, I moved to winchester about 2 years ago, and I have looked almost everywhere for blue crabs that were just as good as that one's I would get In Maryland. This place pound for pound, is the best place I could suggest to get your seafood from, the crabs are just as good as good as any that I have ever had. And they sell you male crabs at a great price.

Craving Maryland crabs and got the last bushel. Ordered a pound of shrimp and a pound of crayfish, too. Awesome food, hit the spot. The woman who runs the place was so nice!!! Love how we can get crabs right down the road. Definitely recommend.

21 ct shrimp - HUGE AND DELICIOUS AND CHEAP
Blue crabs - good price, good amount of meat
Snow crabs - excellent flavor and huge
Mussels - not a fan - I tried them for the first time the other day (they come frozen) and opening the bag and through cooking they smelled off. I didn't eat many because they tasted VERY fishy to me, but my bf ate a bunch and was fine.

The shrimp were so good, I will always get them from here from now on. I need to try some of their other items, too!

Very very good food! Have been a customer for years and have never had a bad meal. I really like their king and snow crab legs but they have huge lobster tails and fresh crabs too.

This is a carry out only place but that good if you ask me because they are able to focus only on food and keeping a great kitchen.

The owner is a great woman and very nice.

This is a take-out only seafood market, NOT a sit-down restaurant, even though it may appear under "restaurants."

I found several positive reviews on Yahoo and decided to give this a try. There is no take-out menu, just what's on the white board posted inside.

Based on one visit, it appears that seafood in season is fresh. Seafood that is out of season probably will be frozen. This is understandable but not a major deterrant to me for quality seafood.

We were in the mood for softshell crabs. They have them here. They were frozen, but you have the choice of jumbo or jumbo-breaded, and we chose the latter. We took them home and let them defrost overnight in the refrigerator. Put them in a fry pan on medium-high heat in olive oil, two minutes each side, and they were absolutely fantastic!

We also had two other items the day before. The seafood salad is reasonably priced and contains a decent variety of seafood. We had seafood salad sandwiches yesterday for dinner, along with the deviled eggs with crabmeat. The crabmeat in the deviled eggs was a bit scarce, but otherwise, for 50 cents each, not bad and saved us the work for making them ourselves.

They even have a box there on the counter with recipes you can take if you find something you want to try but are not sure how to fix it.

We definitely will come back here for more when we have cravings for seafood in the future, but don't particularly want to "dine out" and can prepare an easy recipe.

My wife and I stop here from time to time for dinner. As others have said, it is not dine-in, carry out only. The woman who runs it is great and quality is fresh. The deviled eggs are a tad salty, but we never pass on them.

The crabs are always great and reasonably priced! The deviled crab eggs are to die for! The owner and staff are always very friendly. This is where I prefer to get my blue steamed crabs.

Great takeout shop! I called ahead and picked up a pound of shrimp the other night. It was piping hot and delicious. The lady running it was very friendly.
