He fired the cook after he took our order

Bc they didn't have the food they were supposed to have

No full menu so we were extremely limited to start with

Love the Lima beans. Not too many restaurants serve them. The food was good but nothing spectacular. The fish was crispy. Everything was good and there was plenty of food. The waitress was pleasant and very friendly. Small hometown restaurant with plenty of seating. They have take out and they serve quail for which they are known. Good for family, prices are reasonable. Good place if your not in the mood to cook fish or to have it smell up your house.

Food is wonderful. Cooked each item as it was ordered. So food took a while to get to the table but is well worth it. The owner came around and talked with each table to make sure every thing was OK and helped with clearing off the table. A great place to go wish we had a place like this at home. Will save the location in case we get to come back this way again. Great job

We are new to the area and had stopped in for lunch one afternoon. The owner was friendly, the food was good but I felt the portion was a bit small. I got their lunch special, hamburger with peppers, onions and gravy. I think it was about $8

I was still hungry after I ate the food and asked what a second helping would cost, it was about $3.

Fiancé said her food was good. Kids were happy. The owner gave us a card that he signs, after 10 lunches you get one free.

We have not had dinner there, yet, but we'd give it a try sometime. We are still trying new restaurants we haven't been to yet.

I understand covid is still active, we went to this restaurant on Saturday July 3rd. After ordering our steak we were told there would be an upcharge for being 14oz instead of 12, no big deal. We ending up waiting for a hour and finally received our salads, after eating those we waited another 30min and finally received our entire that wasn't worth the wait. While we waited multiple parties had left because they were tired of waiting. One of the only positive things I have to say is the staff was extremely nice and the owner did come around and check on us.

Yum! This place was exactly what i was looking for on my lunch break on a business trip. Owner and staff were very kind and welcoming. I had the lunch special which was bbq chicken, baked beans, macaroni and cheese, corn bread, and hush puppies. Glad i stopped in! Will gladly go back if I am ever in the area.

Feed your appetite elsewhere! We had ordered our food and one of us had received a side of Cole slaw before our food had come out. Halfway through the Cole slaw a black hair was found. (Neither of us have black hair). We brought it to the store manager's attention only for him to insinuate that we had placed it in their. When we told him we didn't do it, he balled his fists up and squared up on one of us. The one he squared up on threaten to lay him out across the table, so be began to call the police. That's when we told him not to bother because we were leaving.

It's sparkling clean, bright, with great food and the kindest service. Driving through on the way to the beach and the was the highlight of the drive! Give it a try - you won't be sorry.

Best burger I have had in years. Ground chuck and a patty made by hand. Excellent sear on the patty and very juicy. Delicious!
