Laughable service. VERY unprofessional. These people have no clue what they are doing and are extremely disrespectful.
NEVER take your vehicle here. For some reason, Sandia was recommended by my insurance company. There was significant body damage as well as rear end damage, which took weeks longer to finish than I was told, resulting in additional out of pocket expenses for a rental car extension. I had to take the car back within a month or two after the repairs were "finished" because pieces of the weather stripping were peeling off, the wheel well molding separated from the body, and part of the front fascia had popped out from the grill. After that visit, I noticed while cleaning my car that they had melted a hole in my carpet underneath the floor mat and just covered it up. Now I am having alignment issues with creaking at the rear end of the car and abnormal tire wear. Sandia told me everything is within spec but the dealership and another alignment shop have matching checks showing the rear tow and camber are both off. Sandia told me I was "making something out of nothing" and saying everything is fine. I finally got a thorough inspection and there is indeed a rear subframe bolt cross-threaded at an angle with a large crack in the subframe. On top of that, they replaced cotter pins with rusty bailing wire on part of the rear suspension. Apparently, that is what $11K in repairs gets you with these clowns.Helpful 5Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Aaron D.Albuquerque, NM1181Aug 4, 2022
Horrible experience here. They returned my car after 4 weeks and what they "repaired" literally fell apart within a couple miles of me driving. They admitted fault, said they'd order replacement parts and fix it asap, and it's now been over three weeks with zero updates. They won't call you and let you know what's going on with anything and they will give you the run around when you call for an update since you haven't heard from them. Abhorrent business, avoid at all costs. I should have trusted my gut with this one.

Horrible experience. An insurance sent me there and they told me they were going to have my car in 4 days, I called them and they said that some pieces were missing so I waited another week when I called they said my car was washed and were waiting for it to dry, I called again and each time they come up with a different excuse saying that the truck is ready the next day when its not. Horrible communication. DON'T GO THERE

I took my car in due to a minor fender bender the claim is being handled by my insurance and people in Sandia Collision were prompt courteous and did a great job completing the work on my vehicle they had it done before the estimated time

I mean they will get a job done. Whether the job is done right... questionable. They also will "play dumb" a lot when confronted with questions and complaints. Tread very lightly.

The reason I gave 2 stars is because the ladies that answer, are very nice. These stars are for them. The reason I didn't give them more stars is because there is NO communication from them. We took the car in with a claim. However, part of the car had a scratch that wasn't under the claim. It was on the hood of the car. We told them we would pay for it out of our own pocket. They stated they would, fix it and there wouldn't be a problem.. They also stated they were going to call with an estimate for that part on the hood that wasn't under the claim. They never did. We kept calling them; like 3-4 times per week. They kept telling us, I promise we will call back; they never did. On one of our last calls they stated the car was ready. At this point, we STILL HADN'T GOT AN ESTIMATE for the hood. When we got there they hadn't fixed that part AT ALL. The same gentleman that promised he would do it, just told us this, "What do you want me to do about it now?" We stated there wasn't anything they could do for us now because we had already turned in the rental car that our insurance had got for us. He didn't seem to care, and answered with, "Have a good weekend." WOW! He/They never apologized and owned it. They never stated, they were wrong; their answer was merely, "What do you want me to do about it now?" WOW. Really? So sad that some people cannot own what they do.

I was sent here unfortunately by my insurance because they said it was a "preferred" auto shop. After I dropped it off I never heard back from them till I called them days later to ask how long the estimated time would be, they said a week and surprise surprise it took two weeks and then kept on telling me it would be ready that afternoon and that they were "washing" it but some how they would remember some missing part and it would be another day. After I finally got it back, my hood had scratches all over the hood and when I asked the tech he said he thinks it cause of the new lot they use but the owner just said that "looks like someone was trying to remove sap from your car but that's not my problem". I asked if he was serious and he said " I absolutely am fucking serious". So now I have a good with deep scratches all over it.

Please do not bring your car to Sandia Collision instead wait for any other shop to become available. By far one of the most frustrating and unprofessional experience I have ever had. My car was in their shop for more than 3 months and every other week they had a different excuse. One week they would say the parts have not been ordered then the next week they said Covid has affected their employees and other weeks they made excuses about parts not being shipped or taking forever. The manager or the male with the office near the entrance is very disrespectful and even told me my insurance company was shit and I should switch it. They were supposed to order me a new rim instead they tried fixing it and painting it only to look even worse. Their excuse was that my rim was not in stock. I made one 5 minute call to discount tire and got my rim shipped to Albuquerque myself! Please save yourself the hassle of working with this company!
