About the Business
Since opening all the way back in 1948, Sandbar & Grille has been a local favorite, weekly gathering spot, and everything in between. Some know us as "the place that's always open." How we see it? We're always up for some fun, both day and night. Whether you're meeting with friends for drinks and a bite to eat, or here to catch the next big game -- we've got a good thing going, and couldn't be happier to share it with you.

They're ok, nothing to write home about, but decent.

Had some drinks and food with family. The bartender/server was super friendly. Great stop for a Bloody Mary.

Awesome service fantastic food. Sandbar Special sandwich is great. Fries are terrific. Side salad is a meal in and of itself. Come on Tuesday for the Music Bingo you won't be disappointed.

This place had some great fries. They were freshly cut. We enjoyed our burgers. There is not a lot of space for eating so it could be crowded at times.

Amazing customer service, great food and very good priced drinks. They hold plenty of live music, game nights and more. When I meet new comers I always recommend this place!

Stopped by the Sandbar on a visit back to St Joe. We used to live there while working nearby. Absolutely loved it and stopping by the Sandbar for a Cowboy burger and sweet potato fries was something we did often. We were trying to relive all our great memories and the Sandbar didn't disappoint us. It was just as tasty as we remembered and the staff was still friendly as ever. The wood paneled bar gives a cabin feel that is so welcoming, love it

I have been searching for the right late night fish spot in southwest Michigan. This spot exceeded our expectations. Give it a shot~you won't regret it

Well this is a tough one. They are open everyday so that makes it nice. The staff is great and the interior remodel looks good too. The outside secures it's spot as the #1 drive bar in St Joe.

Yum yum yum. This place has been a staple in this town - and for a reason. It's changed ownership over the years, but the food is still amazing (maybe even better?). Must have: candied bacon BLT. Warning - it's a bit greasy, ask for light or no butter. Service is great, ambience is old school wood bar... just a fun place to grab a sandwich and a drink.
