I finally got a chance to visit this cute little cafe after a few of my friends recommended it to me. I gotta say, this place is such a lovely little gem in the AV ! It's a little family owned cafe that has really become quite popular. If you want to go there, it's a bit difficult to actually spot "Sagebrush Cafe", but if you look at pictures that some people have posted, it helps a lot.
Since it's a little cafe, they have some parking behind the actual building. But they also have seem to have expanded their parking quite a bit. There are some indoor seating as well as outdoor seating. I tried the green tea blended drink, and it was probably the best one I've ever had, hands down! Starbucks and Coffee Bean can't really compare, in my opinion. I'll be back to try more off of their menu, but from what I hear from my friends, you can't really go wrong with their menu. Everything is quality coffee or tea, and I guarantee you won't be disappointed.
They also have a good selection of some muffins, scones, and other things. The baristas have nice and friendly personalities which makes going to the cafe an enjoyable experience in itself. Not to mention that the prices are also extremely reasonable and completely justifiable. I was actually surprised at how reasonable the prices were.
It's a nice little place and I highly recommend going and seeing for yourself! It makes for a good meeting place and it's surprisingly peaceful even in the outdoor seating.
In all, it's a lovely cafe and it has a wonderful atmosphere, a great selection and variety of things to order, and the baristas are wonderful. Go ahead and give it a try by all means!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - 2833532974Mar 31, 20241 check-in
Stopped by on Friday, 03/29/24 for the first time around noon time. Ordered the following to go:
- 1 Cosmic Matcha (small, hot, almond milk - additional $0.70) = $6
- 1 Matcha Love Latte (small, hot, almond milk - additional $0.70) = $5.90
CC (credit card) fee = $0.25
TOTAL = $12.15
Sooooo good and not too sweet. I love the richness and authentic taste of the strong matcha. Minimal wait time and there were a couple of customers either studying/working. A great place to hang out and a true hidden gem. I also admire the bold exteriors (bright green color - my fav)!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Tatiana D.Lancaster, CA22904Mar 7, 2024
The coffee was ok but the customer service was lacking.
My friend and I had never been here before so we walked in and we're looking at the menu. Whole we were discussing the options, the older lady standing behind the counter kept side eyeing us visibly annoyed that we didn't immediately know what we wanted. They have lovely sounding drinks but we felt like if we asked to elaborate on a drink, we would annoy them even more so we got what sounded good.
It was ok.
We are a little awkward and the younger gal spoke in whisper tones so there was a misunderstanding and the older lady looked even more annoyed.
(talk about an unwelcoming environment)
We felt so unwelcome that when we left, even though we needed to use the restroom, we felt uncomfortable going back inside.
Overall, it's cute and clean with very limited indoor seating. The coffee is ok but not worth dealing with what they consider customer service.Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Apr 10, 2024
Ordered the avocado toast and when it came out, it was not as I was expecting. For $5 they could use a fresh avocado or fresh tomato but instead they slather fake guac sauce and bruschetta from Trader Joe's on a tiny little toast which might as well have been a cracker. Won't be coming back

Unfortunately the customer service ruins the vibe of this restaurant. Other small cafe's in Palmdale are much more deserving of business.

Giving two stars because most of the staff excellent. Sad that when a drink is clearly bad and I had a family member try in front of the cashier and agree they wanted me to purchase a whole other drink. So I was throwing away a bad drink and purchasing another ? Make it make sense. Guess Starbucks for me until we get another local coffee shop. Reading the reviews this is a common problem with this place. I hate to say it but I don't think they actually like people here. Customer service is incredibly lacking and it must be rotten at the core sprinkled with a few decent young people who will hopefully find better jobs with more inspiring managers and owner.

Good food, really cute place. Went there with my friend to study and it was very calm. I got a matcha latte and a brownie and it was so good.

I used to really enjoy this little place. Every time I'd come into town I'd stop by here. Their coffee used to be 'on point' every time. The last few times I've gone here it wasn't great.. not even good. I don't mind spending $20 on 3 coffees if it's good- but it's a complete waste of money now. Next time I'll either be going to Trio or even Starbucks. Unfortunately, I won't be back anymore.

Came here after seeing flowers at antelope valley! The coffee was really nice - blended drinks especially. The breakfast sandwiches were really good and simple as well. I love the atmosphere here, with the art and the trinkets. So much to look at! There really isn't much parking though, so depending on the time you're trying to come, plan ahead.
