Sabor A Mexico Taqueria

This is a place for when you need food at night. Not too spicy not a lot of flavor but when you want a simple taco! i thought it hit because that's what i was craving! pretty good just late night though!

Small little hole in the wall, but very tasty food. Food came out quickly. Drinks were tasty.

Flavor ! Yummy good quality meat . Tasty guacamole and pico . The nachos with ground beef !!!! We did take away ! The next time we will stay and enjoy the restaurant

Satisfying and Authentic Mexican Cuisine

Recently moved to New York and have been exploring local Mexican eateries. Sabor A Mexico Taqueria has stood out due to its closer alignment with authentic flavors, particularly their burritos. Ordered delivery multiple times, and the food has been consistently warm and enjoyable. Worth trying for anyone seeking a genuine Mexican dining experience.

Walked in one day to make a takeout order. Very cute inside and the staff is really friendly. I ordered a tinga burrito and it came out within five minutes. The burrito was great. Only negative is it's a bit pricier than I expected.

I got take out and was disappointed. The tacos are extremely small, two bites and it's gone. It's disappointing considering you are paying $12 for two tiny tacos. Will not be returning.

We have two very picky kids, and they ALWAYS pay attention to the notes I write, and they are always consistent, and the food is YUMMY! It's our go-to ALL THE TIME!

Stopped here for lunch with my friend because we were really craving tacos, so we decided to give this place a try. We sat outside and our server was nice and attentive, food came out reasonably quick.

For a starter we got beef nachos, they were good but the retried beans were a little overpowering and they made the nachos a little too wet, but it was still tasty. For the main we got the carne asada tacos, if you see her place in the background my friend made the mistake of asking for no onions or cilantro, so she got steak and tortilla only, It made me laugh but she enjoyed it so no complaints haha. I thought the tacos were alright, they were dry so the lemon was necessary, the sauce they gave us helped but I personally didn't like it so I just used the lemon. Overall, not bad, a good stop for a quick bite when you need to satisfy your taco cravings

I've been going to this place for 5 years. Thought I would gate-keep it but saw that there were pretty low reviews- I then read them and they all sound like BS lol. First time I came here was an accident but I've been going back ever since. I always order the enchiladas suizas and they always get it right!! When I moved to the city I was worried because I was missing out on my moms authentic Mexican food from home- I go to Sabor so I can be reminded of home. Love you guys!!

Having an apartment in this neighborhood my husband walked past this place every day so we decided to have dinner here even though I had come by here a few weeks ago asking if they had Sopas and besides telling me she didn't really speak English the answer was just No!the menu was extremely limited and really has Nothing for Vegan's or vegetarian's. I believe there is one item a burrito with spicy vegetables.
It's a Mexican restaurant yet has No Mexican cheese for their items on their menu.
Also No Mexican Coca-Cola in the bottle.
They have Corona Beer but unfortunately there's No price on the menu for Corona so we didn't know the price until we got the bill. $12 for 2.
My husband ordered a steak burrito I ordered a quesadilla they have No black beans so I had to get pinto beans they have No Vegetarian rice so I got guacamole and whatever cheese they use I believe cheddar.
They have No Lime for the beer and the girl said the owner said limes are too expensive so they only gave me lemon for my beer.
We were the only ones in the restaurant, and I certainly can understand why no one comes here.
Our food arrives she sets it down walks away and what do you think after her and I have been talking about Vegetarian-Vegan-Food what do we have but Chicken in my quesadilla!
Her answer and excuse was oh well I wrote just cheese quesadilla but the kitchen didn't see it. We are the only people in the restaurant there were No other orders. As some favor she says "oh you can keep it" I'll go and make you another dish.
Ummm... clearly she wasn't listening to what I was saying because why would I keep a chicken quesadilla being a vegetarian?? I gave her the whole plate back and told her I wanted a check.
My husband got his burrito to go, we drank our two beers and the bill was $32. My husband also gave her a five dollar tip I'm not sure for what her bad attitude or all the mistakes??
They are a joke!
