Happi House Famous Teriyaki

This place is so nostalgic for me. I used to live in the south bay and loved coming to Happi House. This was our first time here specifically, but the staff was so friendly and the food was top notch. We get the #2 with two scoops of rice and they gave soo much rice and the meat was a perfect amount. Everything tasted great. They even include 5 pieces of tempura in the price, which was a little over $11, so you can't beat it! I absolutely love the spicy teriyaki sauce, and basically drown my food in it. Probably tons of sodium, but when you come here once in a blue moon, you splurge! They used to have bottles of teriyaki sauce, but now you have to ask for the little to go baggies. We ended up asking 4 times for more, which is less than ideal, but they were always happy to provide. We left here feeling happy and full and definitely like this location! It has its own parking lot which was large and easy to access. I hope to come back soon!

I ordered 4 Beef Teriyaki, 4 Chicken Teriyaki and 1 grilled Salmon for a lunch meeting.

Throughout our meal, everyone complained about how dry the chicken was and it was not enough food.

The portions are small.
There were 2 small slices of beef per order and the chicken was dry and flavorless. Only the grilled salmon had a good single portion.

I'm never ordering here for lunch again.

I love Happi House! I have literally been eating here for 2+ decades. I can't say I've tried everything on the menu, because the famous chicken teriyaki is so good! I make my own chicken bowl by mixing the meat, rice, and salad all into one bite if you go to Happi a house once, it becomes a "crave-able" food.
Prices are good. Options are vast. Services has always been outstanding! The interior is nice. It sucks that they don't sell the sauce anymore but that's really my only complaint!

So when I ate here, it was my first experience dining at Happi House. I normally do not go around this area, so I swung by since I was hungry during a side job. I ordered two items, the Pho (with beef) and the Teriyaki Burger. I enjoyed the burger, it was cooked pleasantly and the sauce was just right. I did not enjoy the Pho, it was overpowered by the beef and it was heavy to me. My recommendation to everyone who comes here, only order its speciality, which consists of the proteins and tempura. Don't bother getting Udon here when other places do it much better.

Crazy expensive for a place so stingy with condiments and salt and pepper.
Better to go someplace else.

Happi House ! What happened? Went here tonight spent 50+ dollars tonight on food and I feel I got ripped off order a 12 piece tenders pack half of them no bigger than my thumb are these pheasant tenders, are these pigeon tenders or miniature chicken tenders very disappointing.

i still remember i used to eat at happi house when the first time i came to united states back in 1991, may be twice a month. i was so in love with their salad. this year i tried again but not sure if the taste is the same like before. i was crazy with the salad and would say the best salad, but now i think just ok. ordered thai salad too but it was just ok; in fact, the chicken was too salty for me. hhhmm... may be just my taste bud changed...

I usually order my teriyaki brown with no rice and extra veggie. They must have a new cook or the lady did not get my order right. My order came very watery in the bottom and the veggie was soggy and over cooked.

The services was great, lots of different foods to pick from my family loves that food. Very clean and not real loud.
