I wish I had a picture of my #3 'My Cousin Luca' sandwich but once I've had the first bite, I couldn't stop, not even for Insta.

Great place. Lovely staff. Clean, fresh, and generous.

Yum. Chicken cutlet and eggplant parm was great. Mac salad was great too. Rolls were perfect texture to hold all this yumminess.

Very good Italian deli!!! Definitely hit the spot. I got the harvest chicken salad sandwich. I was thinking it could have used some green stuff like lettuce, perhaps arugula, and some tomato. A little heavy on the honey mustard but overall very good flavor. Fast, comfortable, casual. Will be back!

Unsung hero's, total gems and neighbors whose catered food tastes like it was made in the kitchen of someone who loves you. Dependably kind and amazing for all occasions. Today's family milestone begins with Chicken Marsala, magnificent. Thanks Russo's, you rock!!

Walked in and the man taking orders took a phone call. I was told the girl at the register could take my order of an Italian combo on a hero. For $13.50 I said that's a lot. Could I please have roast beef on a hard roll. Paid $9.50. Brought it home and I couldn't even see the roast beef. For $9.50. I could have gotten more substance from a prepared sandwich at Stewart's or shoprite in the cold food case. Russo you should be ashamed of yourself!!
I will spread the word to the locals. You can over charge the tourists. I won't be back.

I recently visited Russo's Italian Deli and ordered the Vinchenzo (#8). While I appreciated the fresh bread and generous portions of meat and cheese, the Italian seasonings unfortunately overpowered the entire sandwich, diminishing my enjoyment.

My wife tried the Louie-Louie (#10), and we found the chicken breast to be thin and dry, leading to an overall flavorless experience.

Although Russo's has its merits, our experience was not what we expected from a place with an Italian tradition. The overpowering seasonings and dry chicken left us unsatisfied, and we're unlikely to return.

I believe in honest feedback, and I hope this review helps others make an informed choice. The potential is there, but the execution fell short during our visit.

Lunch sandwiches still very good. High price but worth it. Good quality meats and bread.

Staff lately is not very welcoming and nice.

Breakfast sandwiches are overpriced and not worth it.

I've read through some of the reviews that were less than complimentary and honestly, it's surprising. I moved back to the area about 5 months ago. Decades ago there was a Jewish deli named Hoffman's in this space and I loved it. But, I was hungry and Russo's was open so I gave it a shot. It's excellent! I've been going there regularly since and have been happy with the entire experience every time. Starting with the staff, I've been greeted warmly every time. After being there one time, they made a point to address me by name. I've been there when it's busy and when it's not and have never waited more than 10 minutes. The sandwiches are creative and delicious and, important to me, consistent. I'm looking forward to having a reason to have them cater something for me.

This place makes THE best sandwiches. My go to is roast beef and Swiss on home made focaccia . They really know what they are doing. Check it out for sure. A couple of sandwiches to go on the way to the mountains or the beach !

True Italian deli with amazing sandwiches, pre made meals, desserts, and products I haven't seen since I lived in the Bronx! Amazing service as well.
