Not worth the money

Both quantity and taste is not worth it. Kadhi was ok. Other dishes are not so great

This review is for the dine in restaurant specifically !I have barely had Gujarati meals to be honest as I'm a South Indian by origin ! However ,from the many times I've had everywhere I can say food at Rupa Vira's Was good !we got the Thali ana Dhokla -Huge portion sizes, good service and great ambience !However the restaurant menu is slightly pricey!

We had them cater a boat party leaving from Georgetown. They were in time, provided all supplies and utensils we asked for and the food was delicious, with perfect level of spicyness from chaats to pav bhaji! I have also ordered paratha and roti from them and they were above average in quality (though a bit pricey)

Rupa Vira Catering catered our recent wedding and they did not disappoint! They served a pre-ceremony drink and appetizer, appetizers for cocktail hour, and dinner during our event. We love that they offer great menu options and were particularly delighted about the Gujarati items. Our contact, Sheila Desai, was very easy to work with during the entire planning process. All of their food was absolutely delicious and we received numerous compliments from guests.

Rupa vira catered a party we recently had and they did a phenomenal job with the setup and presentation. The food was delicious especially their appetizers. My guests had nothing but good things to say about the tasty food and we all know how important that is when throwing a big party for a special ocassion. Highly recommend the food and friendly staff.

Rupa Vira caterers helped us past weekend with our daughter's wedding. They provided food for all events starting from Mehndi to reception! including breakfast, chai tea for morning and afternoon, sweets (mithai) favor boxes. We are beyond blessed to be able to work with them. Priynk and his team did an exceptional job on site. All of our guests were thrilled with the variety and taste of food served over the weekend! Sharadbhai worked with us patiently and paying attention to every detail with personal touch and over delivering for all pertaining need for that weekend. We have used Rupa Vira's catering 3 times in the last 5 years. The first was for our Sangeet the night before our wedding. As far as I can recall, the food was good, ordering was easy, and delivery was on time. The second time was August 2014 for our housewarming ceremony. The food was good but delivery was late. We let it go. Then,came the night before our baby shower in September 2015. We ordered the food a month in advance and confirmed several times as is good practice when working with vendors for your special occasion. We suspected no issues. We had ordered the food to be delivered at a relative's house so they had a full, warm meal when they came into town. Our relatives called us at 7:30 when the food still hadn't arrived (to be delivered at 6:30). My dad and I started frantically calling all the numbers we had and no answer. This continued for 15 minutes until we finally got through. Their first response was that they thought it was going to be picked up (never was that mentioned in our emails). Two of our relatives decided to make the trek to Ashburn and pick up the food. We chalked it up to an innocent mistake on their part. However, when the family got together to eat the dinner, they discovered that some of the food was spoiled!!! So, late/non delivery, non response, and then the food was spoiled, which could only mean they clearly forgot about our order and gave us whatever they could find. Our relatives had to make do with the food that was not spoiled along with what they had on hand. Needless to say, it was embarrassing for us as the hosts and not a good way to start our auspicious occasion the next day. Perhaps they are growing and not able to keep up. At any rate, we won't be using them again.

We had an amazing experience with Rupa's catering service for our wedding celebration. We had invited people from a variety of ethnicities and backgrounds and everyone raved about Rupa's cooking and quality of catering. I would recommend them very highly for Indian vegetarian (particularly Gujarati) catering. Professional,honest and nice. Besides which they were very competitively priced. I am waiting for them to start a restaurant which I am sure would do very well.
