The last two times I've been there, I received horrible service.
The time before last we were at the bar, waited and waited and the bartender did not ask us what we would like to drink. Another couple, sat down next to us and the bartlender served them right away and we still had not been asked.
What was it? Maybe the color of my hair.
2nd time, we sat at the bar window, no one asked us if we needed or wanted something to drink. After waiting a bit, my husband finally had to walk up to the bar and order drinks.
Horrible service.
That's too bad because I like their food.
We go there hoping that the service will be better.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Feb 26, 2024
I've stopped by for pizza months ago in the evening and the restaurant was busy and lively. On my recent visit, it was after lunch hours and a little more quiet so if you want to avoid crowds, then lunch seems to be the best time to go.
My order:
-KEKONA BURGER: Hawaiian inspired burger with Kalua pork and pineapple chunks was sweet and tasty. If you're looking for a uniquely flavored burger then this is the one. The pork, pineapple, and bbq sauce combo was a nice change from the usual burger options. I opted for the Outlaw fries, which is their seasoned fries topped with a generous dusting of seasoning. $23
-COWBOY BURGER: Included cheese, 2 large battered onion rings, and thick cut bacon as well as all the toppings (pickle, tomato, lettuce). Not particularly memorable since it was just a regular burger if it didn't include the "Yeehaw" sauce. Paid an additional $1 for garlic fries, which I was satisfied with since the garlic was semi-cooked (so it wasn't raw and spicy) and very fragrant. $21 + $1
I think the price is a little steep for a burger and fries, but I will say the patties were THICK!! I wasn't asked about my preference for the patty, but they turned out perfectly with just a bit of pink. My tiny gripe is that the parts where the bun was grilled was definitely on the burnt side. I appreciated the fact that they separated my fries from the burgers since the burger juices/sauces leaked out and also put the Yeehaw sauce into a container for my take-out order.Helpful 5Thanks 1Love this 6Oh no 0 - May 1, 2024
One of my favorites in Hollister from the quality of the food to the amazing charming staff the food options and drinks are all good, The chicken sandwich was a 10/10 and I'd definitely go again. This spot serves as both a dinner, breakfast, and brunch place and I highly recommend it if you're stopping by in Hollister and need a good bite.

Food was good but nothing special & the menu was pretty basic. I'd say the pizza was the most worth it for value and taste. A good spot to try if you're in the area but I wouldn't make a drive specifically for it. Adding onto this, parking is pretty tight here so I'd consider that if you're going out with family; although they have a nice outdoor dining area.

This restaurant is one of the nicer places in Hollister, several sections with tables and booths. There is also outdoor seating.
We had a 10 minute wait to get a table on a Saturday night, not bad. Our server took our drink order and our drinks were served quickly.
The menu had a lot of options, and there was also a "specials" menu how ever they did not include prices. We ordered and sat there waiting almost a half hour for our food to arrive.
My wife ordered the seared scallops ($35) with wild mushrooms and butternut purée. She said it was good but a bit salty. I ordered the Kekona burger, topped with shreadded pork and pineapple salsa.
The beer menu had 24 craft beers on tap. I enjoyed a coconut porter.Helpful 1Thanks 1Love this 1Oh no 0 - 63187455Dec 3, 2023
2 time dining here and happy both times.
3 dishes. All great. The Thai Chicken Salad is a favorite. Chili Verde Tacos are rally good too.
3 cocktail. Phenomenal. I recommend the "Work in Progress" while on the specials.
Services was really good.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - 42155186Feb 24, 20241 check-in
It's a large place and the wait was very short. However, a few items we ordered were very over cooked, the ribs starter was very dry, my son's fries were basically burnt and a basket of sweet potato fries were as hard as chips . The toilet in the bathroom did not flush, toilet paper on the floor and there was no soap. Our waitress was nice and got our son new fries, I just didn't have it in me to complain about the other food items.

Joaquina, two baskets of burnt fries is unacceptable and definitely not up to our standard. We're very sorry you had that experience. We also want to apologize about the restroom. We have informed our staff of both things and will work on insuring that this doesn't happen. We do hope you give us another chance to show you an experience we're proud of in the future. - Jim C., Owner

Foods good but pricey and there's very limited food options based upon different time frames so you have to be there on a specific time if you know what you want to eat. I would not recommend going here for the price range if you're going with a family.

Great place!! I stumbled across this place about a year ago after a hike at Pinnacles, my friends and I raved about the burgers, and ended up
back there after another hike on 1/28/2024 and it was as good or better than we recalled. The place itself is nice, with a nice indoor and outdoor area and bar. Lots of beverage options, and a great menu with some variation from the everyday choices that get boring. Their burgers are so good. Service was great, and the place was busy but easily seats a lot of people, so not crowded. Recommend!!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
