If you like your chicken fried with feathers, then you'll love the 10 for 10. I have no problem with the shrimp & gumbo was good.

I drove 10 miles and order a quart of Gumbo and drove back home. Upon opening it the gumbo was thick and had a strong odor of mussels. It was over cooked Fresh Fish House gumbo substance is thin. There was no rice or seafood except for a few mussels. It looked like oatmeal. I called Fresh Fish House Eight-mile location. The guy who served me answered the phone. He told me to bring it back.

I drove back to the store and the cashier with the short hair sometimes blue other times pink took the gumbo looked in the container and said loud in front of the customers," Did you put water in this?" I said, "No!" Then she said," are you sure?" her question surprised me because the gumbo was thick as oatmeal.

She has worked there for a good while and knows how the gumbo supposed to look. She was putting on a show in front of the customers. Then she takes the gumbo to the man who served me the gumbo and said, "Look at this water." He didn't lift up his head. He knew the gumbo wasn't right when he put it in the container.

The cashier tells me, "I'll give you another order" and walk to the back. She returned without the gumbo because the entire batch was over cooked. I ask her to return the gumbo. I didn't like how she tried to make me look like a gumbo thief who ate the gumbo filled the container with water and returned it and the gumbo was my proof it was over cooked. She refused to return the gumbo and walked to the cash register and returned my money.

This is the type of employee that gets the company food inspected and shut down for an untrue laugh.

This was my first time going to this location of Fresh Fish, and it will be my last.

The food was absolutely horrible. I paid $19.07 for some food that was not edible.

I ordered an ocean perch dinner. The food was not hot. The steak fries were too hard to eat. The fish pieces were so small that I could fit 3 pieces on a single slice of bread. The fish was fried with and soaked in some old grease. You cold see the old grease on the fish. The smell of fish was very loud and made me want to upchuck.

The staff was nice, but that was it. I don't know who their cook is, but they need to get another one.

When I gave up trying to find anything salvageable in the meal, I gave it to my dog, and she looked at me as if I had lost my mind. Even she didn't want it.

I never even tried the coleslaw because the rest of the meal was so horrible.

Never again, never again.

"Sometimes you wanna go where everybody knows your name" cool folks in there and the fish is always on point.

I ordered off Uber eats. Fish wasn't fresh. It was over done and rubbery. Also the chicken had feathers. I can't be upset because I should have known better. I should have asked myself how clean can a fish market be?

I absolutely love the catfish nuggets and fries! I've had the catfish dinner as well, you get nice size portions so it's worth your money.

The Gumbolaya is a must!!! Great flavor with just enough spice. Also ordered the cod dinner is a side of clams. Both great!!

I'm totally disappointed. I used to argue with people who left bad reviews because I never had a bad experience. someone I know got molded bread and horrible service from the location on Greenfield, I said maybe it's just that location. I continued to patronize the 8 mile and Wyoming location. After today I AM DONE! Molded bread is bad as it is, but to serve bread with mouse/rat droppings in it.... SHUT IT DOWN!!! You cant Not see that.

The Catfish is very good. However, the pick up is not organize. Please, establish a line strictly for call in orders to be picked up.
