Roscoe's Famous Deli

Holy cow! I ordered a club sandwich, and when it arrived, I had no idea how I was going to eat it. It was piled high with fresh lettuce, sliced tomatoes, turkey, cheese, perfect amount of bacon and capicola and 2 slices of deliciously toasted sourdough bread. There's no way you could eat it if you had a third slice of bread! Got a side of ranch dressing for dipping!

I ordered potato salad as my side and it was delicious. Also tried the Mac salad and it was equally as tasty. Hard decision to make. Boys got chili with cheese and onions and devoured it!

I ended up eating half of my sandwich and bringing the other half home.

Highly recommend this place if you are in the downtown Fullerton area. Inside was super fun and funky with all of its decorations. Lots of televisions turned on to sports channels. Awesome patio area in the back with music playing and also a few TVs to watch sports on.

I will definitely come back here and bring my appetite.

Went here to celebrate a friend's birthday. I did not eat, I only drank adult beverages. There is two bars to order from which made it convenient. Beer and service was nominal. Pending how packed it gets, you will be waiting a good 15 minutes to order your drinks!

A live Rock/Metal band was playing that night. The band was called Rock Stallion. They were awesome! An all filipino cast Rockstar cover band. Big Kudos to this establishment for allowing bands with talent to perform on stage.

It does get packed at night time so come early to get seats and tables. The set up was cool. Large back patio and indoor entertainment. I recommend this place. There is one thing about this place that bothered me and why I only gave 3 stars vs 5 stars. You only have a one stall toilet for the Men's restroom! How can one toilet accommodate hundreds for this establishment? Just saying.

Overall, good ambience with alot of space.

Came here from BIGs down the street. Should have stayed there. Waitresses are way hotter there and. Food is much better! Been waiting for almost 30 minutes to find four if they have espn+ here so I can watch the fights. They couldn't even pour my beer right. Luckily there's plenty more places to go to right next door.

PS had to watch the main event on a phone. They never even tried to put the free fights on the tvs.

We've been a few times now, and each visit was awesome. Normally, we sit on the patio with the pups. They're very dog friendly and offer a water bowl. It was a long day and we needed to relax so we ordered mai tais to celebrate.

The Ruben here is very good, so that was our pick. The meat was half corned beef, and half pastrami. Comes with a choice of sides, and unfortunately, they don't have French fries. So we got Cole slaw.

The waitstaff is on point with good service and being attentive. Parking is on the street, and they're located in the SoCo district. Highly recommend Roscoes for a great sandwich, pizza, or drinks.

I love coming here for lunch and splitting and sandwich with my partner. The fender is my favorite! This is a great place for lunch.

Came here for lunch on a Saturday, it was the perfect time. Around 1:30-1:45 and there were only a couple of groups eating.

I got the turkey sandwich and husband got the Italian. I had pasta salad he had potato salad.

The service was extremely good, super fast and sooo friendly.

To be honest we both agreed the sandwiches could've had more moisture a la condiments, both were a little dry BUT still delicious. My turkey sandwich had gorgeous thick slices of tomato, two thick slices of cheese and tons of turkey. It really was delicious.

The pasta salad was a bit too tangy but that's fine, I never order pasta salad so it's probably supposed to be that way lol. Husband's Italian looked delicious and he said he liked it! I didn't try it.

Writing this just after finishing a pastrami sandwich on rye. First time eating here and was excited after reading some reviews, expecting good things. Service was good...but wow, to those stating this was the best pastrami they've ever had...your reviews are now suspect in my eyes. This was average at best...I wasn't expecting Katz's or Langers...Johnny's or the Hat so this was a major letdown given all the reviews. So much gristle and lack of pastrami flavor. Pastrami is shredded and not sliced.

Roscoe is one of many eateries in old town Fullerton. At first, I was subconsciously thinking the "other" well know Roscoe's :)

The interior is semi -rusty so bit at the dark salon feeling -- wall to ceiling plastered with memorabilia. The place is self sitting and once you find a spot server will drop of a menu along with a big mug of water!

The service was good.  The wait staff were pretty nice and attentive.  The sandwiches came out really fast.  Prices are a little bit on the high side but this is probably normal everywhere.  The portion is generous, each averaging $15+, that justify the cost.

This is a place with New York style deli sandwiches -- big, thick and hearty. We ordered corned beef, pastrami, and tuna.  The corned beef was flavorful although I should have gotten it without mustard.  The pastrami was even better.  The tuna salad sandwich was decent. 

Keep in mind all the sandwiches are cold so seeing a thick slice of cold cheese wedged between the sandwiches was disappointing. Don't think they offer any hot sandwiches.  I would've enjoyed mt meal so much more, had it offered hot sandwiches.

Sandwiches come with choice of sides.  I thought the potato salad was pretty good.  Macaroni salad was ok but this is sweet and I prefer a savory side. The chili was the best side, in my opinion, but temperature was lukewarm that it didn't melt the shredded cheese.

All in all, this place is good but not great.  I've had better NY deli style sandwiches but there's not many places in North OC so you take what you can get.

Today I take you to one of our newest favorites. Roscoe's Famous Deli. Located in the SoCo District in the City of Fullerton.
Top of the line sandwiches is what Roscoe's is known for.
Ordered the usual couple of beers but they also have wine and cocktails.
We ordered a Liverwurst Sandwich. It's Liverwurst and
onions with mayo on Rye Bread.
Also ordered a Tuna & Pickled Egg Sandwich! Divine tuna salad, sliced pickled eggs and pepper jack cheese on squaw bread!
Try the Silly Billy! It is oven roasted turkey, slow cooked corned beef with pepper jack cheese on Sourdough!
You should definitely check out Roscoes Famous Deli when in Fullerton!

Was in the area and looked up for a sandwich and all I can say is this place was absolutely amazing for sandwiches and chili will be back if I'm in this town! Service was A1 and our sandwiches did not take more than seven minutes and they were on our table. Great service.
