Rosarios Pizzeria & Catering

Although these ratings seem mixed related to bland food and service, this review is solely based upon their pizza we ordered for carry out. We ordered a large and small thin crust pizza for dinner. It was nice and crispy and with a good balance of sauce, cheese, and veggies. I'd give it 5 stars but after the pizza cooled down, it didn't taste as good as it did hot. I'll add a follow up review once we dine in here.

placed a to take out order on Christmas Eve 45 minutes before closing. We ordered mostaccioli with marinara, a side of sausage and a side of meatballs as well as two soups. The food is ready on time and was absolutely delicious.
We will be back for both takeout and eat in.

Very poor customer service. Brought my friend there after her cancer treatment to enjoy happy hour. After we had almost spent a hundred dollars we were told we couldn't get wings at happy hour price at 6:01pm but we could order off regular menu. Then hostess recommended to my friend a martini. When bill came it was $12.00. She quickly said that was an error but server came back and showed us the menu. Not sweating the money but poor customer service. Be aware. Had to laugh, they said POS system does not allow for adjustments. Still left a 20% tip.

I learned about this restaurant through a friend's suggestion. I usually don't come out to Roselle often enough to know about this place. Anyway, suffice to say it was a good find. My friends and I came here to celebrate a friend's birthday. He picked this place as he wanted pizza and had Rosario's pizza before.

When I got here, the parking lot was almost full and the restaurant was busy and packed. Luckily, some of my friends had already secured a table. The vibe and the atmosphere were nice. The place was lively. The crowd consisted of family & kids, couples, people on a date and folks like my friends and me. Our server was attentive and provided good service. Their menu is extensive and has a good variety. The food is a bit on pricey side.

For drinks, most of us ordered soft drinks and one friend ordered wine. They have Coke Zero as a fountain drink so I went with that. For food, to start off, we ordered one order of hot Buffalo wings, a large order of fries and a large extra crispy thin crust pizza with mushrooms and sausage. For our main course, we order a large Chicago stuffed crust (they have a regular stuffed crust pizza too) pizza with all garlic and half sausage.

The extra crispy thin crust pizza was da bomb. The crust was exactly like what we wanted it to be. The pizza sauce was on point with its flavor. Not sweet, not tangy or bland but right in the middle with more on savory side. The sausage had a nice taste of fennel. All of these ingredients came together to make for a great tasting pizza. Definitely recommended. The hot Buffalo wings had a nice flavor with a spicy kick but the wings could've been cooked a bit longer for that crisp exterior.

Now for the main course. The Chicago stuffed pizza was excellent. It had plenty of cheese. The cheese to pizza sauce ratio compared to the crust was comparable and there wasn't more of one thing over the other. We all enjoyed this pizza as well. It hit the spot. Just after having the thin crust pizza, I felt that I would be coming back to this place and after having the stuffed pizza, that decision got solidified in my mind.

The restaurant also has a bar in the front side by the entrance with a small dining area and a couple of TVs. On the left side of the restaurant, you'll find a dessert shop that sells pastries and gelato. The environment of the restaurant is inviting. The owner of the restaurant came and chatted with us for a bit as well. It was good to converse with him.

I had a fun time and a good experience here. I would definitely recommend checking out this restaurant if you like good pizza. Next time I go here I'll try their pasta dishes.

Five stars for our experience with the wonderful staff here, especially our server Christian (sp)? He was working in the bar area and took the time to make some spot on recommendations for drinks and food.

The pineapple infused Tito's martini was so good and I'm glad it was pointed out to me. I love Tito's vodka but it is even better infused with fruit.

The burrata appetizer was really creamy, tasty and perfect on the pesto spread toast.

The fruiti de mare I had was the kind of portion I would make for my family! The calamari rings were a bit chewy but everything else, even down to the macchiatto gelato and the relaxed atmosphere in the bar were fantastic.

I visited the ladies room and was glad to see and smell fresh cleaner/bleach like it was just sanitized and checked regularly.

A great first experience. I'll be back to try the pizza and vodka sauce. Thursday night ladies night specials.

Rosarios Pizzeria ?? Very beautiful restaurant with an incredible atmosphere and delicious food. I would highly recommend this to anyone who loves Italian food. We ordered the pear gorgonzola salad, penne vodka, and chicken franchise of the best Italian restaurants I've had in a while. The waitress was very friendly and made the experience. We went as a family and everyone loved the food and drinks. Would definitely recommend this location.

Good food, and great people, have never had a bad experience here, enjoy sitting outside on the patio highly recommend!

Second visit was amazing! We sat on the patio to enjoy the beautiful weather while eating.The owner was on site all night. Service was incredible. 5 star atmosphere, food, and service. Everything you want out of fine Italian dining! If you go, ask for Rox to be your server!

Fresh oysters every Sunday. Amazingly authentic Italian food. Had the Frutti del Mare and it was fresh, delicious and very generous with the seafood. Spouse had the chicken fettuccini, which he loves. Roxy was our waitress, and she was so friendly and helpful. We thought the outside dining was closed, but they said sure it's open and we were able to enjoy these final days of summer listening to crooners in the patio. Thank you for the wonderful experience.
