Rocky's Convenience Store and Campground

This place has a great selection of all types of items! Always a must stop when in the area

Well it started off great with a friendly "welcome to Rocky's" and clean restrooms. Hubby took a quick look at
the deli but decided he'd just wait till dinner. We purchase two drinks and even though we placed no food order and received no service from the deli, he went ahead and dumped his change in the deli tip jar. Just to be nice. As he walked away he heard the older woman with frizzy red hair say from the kitchen, "gee thanks for the spare change". Really? And what exactly did we "owe" you a tip for at all? That's what we get for just trying to be kind. She's lucky I didn't hear it. My sweet husband didn't say a word but I probably would have let her have it. What is wrong with people ? With the exception of the woman who greeted us (and also checked us out), the other four women/girls working there were more interested in discussing their days off than even trying to pretend to be friendly.

Your place looks great but the staff needs some serious customer service training. Or if they can't manage that, they at least need to learn to keep their snarky comments to themselves.

Clean restrooms, clean floors, spacious interior, plenty of variety. It's nice to know that when you see a Rocky's you can stop with confidence, knowing you will find what you want/need and you'll be comfortable.

I know different locations have different layouts and set ups. This one had fishing equipment, ammo, and a few clothing items in addition to all the standard convenience store fare.

And the restrooms are sparkling clean.

The best place to stop on 98! I always like to see what new things they have in stock. So clean and always friendly.

We always stop at Rocky's when we are traveling through Perry. The deli puts out some great food and there is always something interesting to look at - and buy - if you order something that needs to be prepared and have to wait. We have a long standing tradition to stop here with our off-road team on Sunday after 4 days at the Iron Horse Mud Ranch Mud bogs. We call ahead and let them know when we're on the way and they always have a pile of fresh fried chicken waiting for us. There is simply nothing better after 4 days of too much drinking and partying. It is the very first step to mud bog recovery!!!

This place is clean and full of the stuff you might be looking for on a trip to the coast, a camping stop, or a fishing excursion. I'm impressed.

Bathrooms were clean which is always a plus and overall the gas station was aesthetically pleasing.

Some cons: I wish the boy who was handling the bait would have been more attentive. However, my biggest issue was that the staff was very cold. It created an uncomfortable atmosphere. It's unfortunate that the only real downside can have such a big impact on customer experience.

Country store indeed. Rocky's is one of the stores you can find yourself just roaming around, eating chicken and talking the lady's as if you have no where else to be. They are super friendly, they have common sense things that you actually need stocked in the store. It is very clean and orderly. The crowd pleaser in our family is the Fried Chicken. Fresh, hot and right out the grease. My husband usually stands there waiting for the fresh drop. Rocky's has pretty much everything you forgot to bring on your fishing trip and maybe a bit more.

Not to bad of a campground for my travel trailer but they were more interested in a little space between my septic hose and their septic system than the awful internet. For a multi million dollar they operation . The owner needs to do the right thing and upgrade and buy more than 1 little in the washroom. Do not stay on the other side near the store you will be woken up every morning by noisy equipment and tractor trailers running their trucks all night .And don't waste your time with this foolish Rocky's card 3 times I tried to register it and wouldn't take the numbers on the card. So I called and spoke to a live person after answering sensitive questions the woman told me a had a 100 points but she was having problems with her system. That took time from me more important than any stupid points. Finally they have the nerve to increase the monthly rate for no reason or improvements. Pure greed.

This place has a little bit of everything (fishing supplies, clothes, etc.)and was very clean. You must stop and get a donut or cinnamon roll from their bakery. I know you may be hesitant since it's a gas station but believe me it's a must. They are homemade and absolutely delicious and for that reason I give it 5 stars!
