Last visit was much better!
Went in with the family and ordered a steamer pot. Calms, shrimp, crab legs, etc. I do wish there was more butter but that's just me. Otherwise, everything was delicious!
Everything cooked perfectly. The soups here, perfection.
Thank you so much for the wonderful experience!Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0Nov 21, 2020Previous reviewGood food and service.
I ordered the crab stuffed salmon and it was good but wasn't amazing. The salmon was lacking flavor, the stuffing was a little bland, the drizzle over the top helped but wasn't enough flavor to save it. The orzo was good though, a nice compliment to the salmon. I also got the lobster bisque and was a little weirded out by the red peppers in it. It wasn't bad but definitely wasn't my favorite. Everyone else seemed pretty happy with their meals.
We also got a brownie a la mode. Every good deep, rich chocolate flavor. Thr ice cream on top was a good compliment to the chocolate and caramel on the brownie. Definitely can't go wrong with brownie and ice cream.
The restaurant was very clean. Staff were all wearing masks. They have the scan menus for you to pull up and choose from.
I wouldn't mind giving this place another try and seeing what else their menu has to offer. - 117103147May 21, 2022
My husband and I met here for a quick lunch. Cute place. Food was delicious. I got shrimp Etouffée and it was my first time eating it and it didn't disappoint. My husband got a shrimp Po' Boy and it was delicious as well :) waiter was very pleasant and helpful however he was just so busy. Not his fault I counted the tables and he was truly waiting on 5 or 6 tables at the same time and I was watching him running back and forth so many times while others were waving him down to help them. I had gotten a free dessert through yelp but couldn't even use it because we waited too long for the check. Again, not blaming the waiter at all, but it was lunch time and I wish he had more help!! I would definitely go back. Food is top notch!!

Honestly, I thought I reviewed this place ages ago since I used to work in the area and get take out occasionally.
Oh well, never too late to review! I now work nearby so I've gotten a few delivery orders since the pandemic started. Everything has been pretty good overall and hit the spot for a good lunch each time.
The prices are in line with similar restaurants and I think the portions are very good. I even got a kid's meal the last time and it hit the spot, so a good option when I can't do anything with the leftovers.
I found the clam chowder pretty decent, this will depend on your personal definition of a chowder. I personally found the clam pieces to be small, I prefer chunks, but the flavor was there and I found it satisfactory.
The tilapia poboy was very good, but the piece of fish was way too big for the roll. In my opinion, it was enough for two poboy's. It would have been easier to eat if it was two smaller pieces, but I still enjoyed it. This one actually lasted me two lunches.
The kid's popcorn shrimp with fries was great! The shrimp were tasty and the fries were crispy. The winner was the tartar sauce, it's really good! A tartar sauce can make or break an experience, so I was happy with my meal and it was plenty for my typical lunch time appetite.
This is a good spot to check out for some reasonable seafood, so show your support and place an order!Helpful 32Thanks 0Love this 29Oh no 0 - Susan A.Corinth, TX2179132Aug 8, 2021
My hubs and I were impressed with this place!! He ordered the fried catfish and I ordered the pecan crust catfish. Both were really good. I will say ... that the next time we go I would probably order the fried. I didn't like the pecan crusted catfish as much as the fried catfish.
Our server was nice and our food was served hot!! We will be back!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jul 29, 2019
My wife loves seafood and we were going a movie across the street, so we stopped in. This was a Sunday in July around1pm. The place was pretty empty.
It was also there last day for the Snow crabs and Shrimp boil promotion. My wife was really excited for this meal.
Upon sitting down our waiter was prompt in getting us some drinks and answering question.i mean there was no one else in his section, he all kinds of time.
After delivering our drinks he took our order and yes, my wife ordered the boil, while I ordered the Bacon cheeseburger. We also got the $4 hushpuppy app, which was awesome with the right amount of heat.
About this time our waiter came back to inform my wife they were out of the snow crab but would upgrade to the Dungeness crab...it took some convincing but she said yes as it wouldn't cost more.
Upon the food arriving she dug in and with a little trepidation took a small bite covered in drawn butter. She said she loved it, but she really doesn't care for Dungeness crab at all. Either way she ate it and the shrimp and the potatoes.
Why yes, thanks for asking. My cheeseburger was mighty fine as well. I was disappointed in they didn't fry the pickles as it said, but it was still awesome.
My wife loves the place was excited I could find something to eat as well so we can come back again. We just want go to that movie theater again....see AMC review!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - 1092412040Oct 28, 2018
Great food and service. I'm impressed. I tried going here years ago but this area was always super crowded but it seems that the crowds are not as heavy now since the surrounding area has built up with more options.
It's full table service. The dining area is one big, open room with some booths, tables, and a bar at one end. Some of the tables were arranged to accommodate a large party of 10. There are a lot of windows and it was nice and bright. The noise level and the temperature was very pleasant (which is a problem in a lot of places now).
The menu consists of salads, market fish, oysters, fish tacos, seafood enchiladas, some pastas, and a few non-fish things such as a beef burger.
The market fish selections are listed on a big board on the wall with their current prices. There are about four or five fish options with several finishing styles, such as tropical, butter and lemon, etc. We chose trout with a pecan crust. The fish portion was generous and cooked nicely. The pecan crust was very good but I think it would have paired better with a stronger fish such as salmon or tuna.
The menu has a shrimp po'boy but I wanted an oyster po'boy and the server took the order as an oyster po'boy without hesitation. I subbed the fries for steamed broccoli. The po'boy was fantastic. It came with a creole mustard which pairs nicely with the cornmeal fried oysters. The oysters were very large and fried to a perfect crisp. It was one of the best po'boys I've ever had. I would definitely order it again.
The service and food is definitely 5-star but I have to drop to 4-stars because it is fairly expensive but it is definitely worth trying and going back on occasion.Helpful 8Thanks 0Love this 6Oh no 0 - Maria S.La Jolla, CA095Mar 21, 2021
Great service! Great food! My BFF and I stopped by for crawfish this afternoon. We sat at the bar and "Rachel" took great care of us. The crawfish were wonderfully cooked and perfectly spiced with "Nitro". They were so good, we gobbled 9lbs with no problem.
We finished off with an order of delicious warm bread pudding. It was AHHMAZING. We actually decided to indulge in a second order of bread pudding with ice cream in top simply because we could.
What a great afternoon, great food, great company and great service!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Ron K.Lewisville, TX7294216May 22, 2022
I haven't been here in years and thought I'd give it another try and I'm glad I did. The food was great, I thoroughly enjoyed it . The service was great as well . Combine those two with a seat on the patio by the fireplace and it turned out to be a great night all around !

Nice seafood place in Flower Mound, a place not noted for it's seafood options. However, this past trip we were feasting on crawfish - now in season. For those who don't know, you can sign up for text notifications with Rockfish and, when they have new specials, they will notify you. We got just such a text notifying us of a new special for one-day only: crawfish for $4.99/pound. We had recently just had some for $13.99, so you can see how we were pleasantly surprised! The added benefit was they tasted delicious. My wife isn't a crawfish fan, but they were also offering Snow Crab 'parts' for only 7.99 - think clusters with one leg missing. Again, great price and the taste was fresh, sweet and tender. Solid wins on both accounts. (After our first few pounds, we went back and ordered more! Had to roll out when we were done!).
We like visiting here for fish normally, but this was truly a winner!Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
