The food here is pretty delicious, I've had their pizza, Alfredo, and chicken parm. The bread is so good too be careful not to fill up too much on the bread, it's so easy to do!
Service is really nice, everyone was warming and had intent to make you happy with the experience and food.
The inside looks like a cute little spot for a nice dinner or lunch. I'm happy to eat there when I come out to do health visits.Helpful 1Thanks 1Love this 1Oh no 1 - Cindy B.Orland Park, IL4901Apr 20, 2024Updated review
Ordered lasagna and sausage & peppers for dinner using a food delivery service on a Friday evening.
I've had the lasagna here several times in past years. But last couple of times it was not enjoyable. In the dining room or carry out. It almost seems like it's being made days ahead of time and then reheated Sausage was cut in bite coins with sauce. But it was soft and burnt on outer skin.Microwaved?
Side salad had 6 pieces of the core of the lettuce in it and they had brown edges. Only good part of this meal was the garlic bread. And they do have a good garlic dressing
I'm tired of paying good money only to be disappointed in the quality I receive.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Jan 27, 2022Previous reviewMy friend snd I frequent this restaurant often. We came on a day where the menu stated half price pizza. So my friend orders one to have there. I order a pasta and then ask our server to place an order for a small pizza to go. Server says 1/2 price pertains only to dine in. Ok so I say I'll order it for eating there. I can bring leftovers home. Next server says well it's limit 1 pizza per table. I say forget it.
But what happens when people don't want the same toppings?
Looking around the restaurant I saw only 1 other table had ordered pizza so I don't think this was causing a hardship by allowing more than one. And since restaurants are saying they are struggling wouldn't more sales even at a reduced price be better than none? And server would have received a larger tip. - 2475811070Dec 17, 2023Updated review
WALKED OUT...
Having been here before and having enjoyed it, I made a reservation with Open Table. I arrived 15 minutes early and after a few minutes, a confused employee seated my party. I thought to myself, "that seemed unnecessarily complicated." Maybe the whole reservation thing threw her off.
Upon being seated a nice young lady immediately filled the water glasses and brought bread. I took my time mulling over the menu and was committed to a bottle of wine and appetizers. At this point, five minutes had already passed. The restaurant was far from filled. In fact, I would go so far as to say it was pretty empty. I noticed that there were four to five servers milling around including the girl that seated my party. After making small talk with my party I then realized that we were going on 15 minutes and still nobody on staff had approached our table to take a drink order or offer any kind of service at all.
I began to make mental notes of what was going on in this place. Servers were hanging out and talking with each other. A host or perhaps assistant mangager was drinking from a straw cup at the front desk. I later observed him eating as he was meandering through the dining room. Wow. Having worked in this business I was surprised. No employee should ever be seen drinking anything or eating anything on the floor. You do that in the kitchen or in a secluded area. You don't walk through the dining room chomping on something even if its a piece of candy.
I continued to take mental notes of the activity. Not a single server ever took it upon themselves to notice the party of four sitting there without drinks, food, or anything else. You're a part of a team and you should let your fellow servers know that their section, if you will, needs attention. After 20 minutes of waiting I decided to leave. If the service was already this abyssmal then the whole meal would be bad. I told the host guy about the wait and he apologized. Too little too late. Never again.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Feb 16, 2021Previous reviewRecently dined here. Outstanding. Stuffed pork chops, tiramisu, and a couple bottles of Pinot Noir. My waitress, Daniella, was terrific. Made my reservation via OpenTable and everything went smooth. I will return.

Came here for dinner on a weekend with a group of 4. There were plenty of open tables so we were seated right away. We started with the toasted ravioli which was pretty good. I had the white fish as my entree and it was good but not great. It had a nice flavor overall but did feel like something was missing. The portion was nice for the price. The atmosphere was a little stark but the service was good overall. Glad I tried but I would not necessarily rush back.

One of our weeknight go to meals, they have a large family special pasta with salad and garlic bread option that is great for dinner and lunch the next day! The food is great and we enjoy dining in or pick up! Would definitely recommend !

We went at 11:30 on a Saturday and there was no one in the place which was great. The service throughout the meal was good. The place was clean and nicely decorated. We ordered a pizza and a few pasta dishes to share. The carbonara was just OK. The spaghetti and meatballs were good but not great. The special pasta with vegetables and sausage was the best dish on the table. The pizza was ok but isn't all pizza ok. I want to be wowed by pizza and this wasn't it. Everything overall was good but not great. There wasn't anything that made the restaurant stand out from other Italian restaurants I have been to. Overall probably a place to add into your rotation if you live in the area but not somewhere I would go to that often.

No change is really everything was fantastic
Parents still like to order from here for delivery I happen to come in driving around got hungry wanted some pasta.
Started out with a peroni ice cold with a cold mug they don't have any draft beer currently haven't had any for a while.
Ordered up one of my favorites the pasta bowl made it with vodka pasta mostaccioli noodles added Italian sausage it came with some sauteed spinach
Although before that of course you got your bread service delicious bread fresh olive oil cheese. Hadn't had a peroni for a while so I decided to have one more what the hell!
Still though the food the quality the service was still excellent I had no complaints at al.

40 reviews later here in 2021 definitely worth an update as had a dine-in experience.
decided didn't want to get a pickup or to go delivery order so dad being out of town decided to take Mom over to Rocco Vino's.
hadn't been here since pretty much covid as far as eating in I've gotten stuff delivered
made a reservation for 5:00 p.m. we showed up at 5:00 to 5:00 and it was asked wanted to table or booth we got a booth..
waitress came around took our drink order immediately brought a glass of water and some bread out and I wanted a peroni on draft but they were waiting on a beer delivery they didn't have any so I just opted for a Michelob ultra in a bottle with a cold glass. Ma got a glass of wine.
decided on the appetizers one of the family favorites the Caprese salad can't go wrong with it. she chose the ministroni soup I paid a little extra and had a caesar salad. a few minutes later she took our order I opted for the Chicken Risottto minus onion and mom had the salmon pasta AKA Penne Al Salmone.
the olive oil was nice and fresh along with the cheese for the bread fantastic.
I brought out the Caprese salad. delicious mozzarella cheese very good balsamic they use. finish that and Caesar salad was brought out it wasn't a big one it was a nice size dinner one portion not enough to fill you up Mom enjoyed her soup.
just wanted another beer I said no I'll just take a diet Pepsi Ma opted for a cup of coffee.
brought out to dinner it was fantastic. the chicken with the portobello mushrooms to broccoli the red peppers and the risotto rice blend they used was just great.
Mom liked her salmon pasta quite a bit
another great meal has come to be expected here like always it was nice to come and sit down and enjoy it not have it delivered.
nice thing is to have a place like this only about 8 minutes away. keep up the great work will keep on ordering.Jan 13, 2021Previous review#3/2021
originally located in the northwestern suburbs of Harwood heights Illinois locations also nearby in Carol stream Illinois and elk Grove village Illinois closer to the O'Hare airport area the family opened up one down near the Homer Glen Orland Park area right off of 143rd and Wolf road a few years back.
they call it traditional Italian with the twist because it's not just pastas and pizza they've got steaks Chops and a whole lot more chef creations all their locations.
very professional very welcoming bright-lit dining rooms we have ate there a few times get it to pick up or deliver often there's definitely a lot of good quality and very good food.
wether in the mood for a pizza or pasta, pretty much have had excellent food all the time.
like a great Chicago establishment for their pizzas they have a nice thin crust but they also have a very thick crust almost Giordano's like in their pan pizza. have had a little of both their chaps are very good for dinners and their pastas are very good the chefs at the Orland Park location do a great job and preparing everything very professional even during covid times take out and delivery.they do have their own delivery people so it's not doordash or somebody delivering it it comes nice and hot and very timely for the most part.
one unique thing though they have what I like to call a grease trap a lot of places when you get a pizza and a cardboard box it sits right on the ground but however they have a little like netting sort of plastic thing that is really good at letting the grease flow to the bottom of the box which is really cool it's surprised me.
they sit in a little small strip mall corner you wouldn't realize the quality when you look out from the outside till you walk in but it's a very excellent place open for lunch gets very busy especially on the weekends.
I have had the pasta dinners the vodka pasta rigatoni is fantastic the pan pizza is thick and like a classic deep dish should be. if you want it more Giordanos style you can order it stuffed with a put a layer of cheese over the top.
the family is a big fan of the pork chop dinners that they offer also the chicken varieties too.
rocovino's definitely a great place highly recommended for great Italian food at a decent price along with more.

I'll start with the food from this restaurant. I recommend the pasta Rocco and the tortellini veneto pasta choice but it has to be mixed with meat and cheese. I like the fact that you get warm bread and choice of salad or soup with your pasta. Me and my family also ordered a pizza half pepperoni and sausage, the pizza could have been a bit better as some parts of the pizza tasted like burnt wood and was a bit overpowering and took away the flavor of the ingredients. Service was great as the waiter that took care of us made sure we were okay as we waited for the food to come out. I do think the wait time for food was a bit long especially for a slow day, maybe next time food prep and cooking would be a bit faster. The ambiance of the restaurant is good, felt authentic and welcoming. I liked the painting on the wall of the fields and hills, made me wonder where that location is in the world to visit one day. I definitely will be back for more pasta and to try a different dish. Good job management and staff
