Traveling for business - my hotel manager said this is the best place in town, and he was right.
Great food and service, exactly what I expected.
I asked for no fries or hush puppies but they came anyway - glad they did!
Best hush puppies I have ever had.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Aaron B.San Juan, Puerto Rico0144Apr 1, 2024
This is a negative star review. I've come here for my birthday for over 15 years. This year was a deal breaker. I lost my appetite when I walked into the patio area and just smelled what I could only imagine was rancid general uncleanliness of the whole area. Pretty sure there's a bad drug/drinking on the job habit for a majority of the workers here, could just tell from the look in their eyes and the way they floated around. Slurred words and super forgetful. The tubs your crawfish get poured into are pretty much already dirty, they just rinsed em out with a water hose, no telling how long it's been since they've seen soap or been dried. The tables were so gross I was getting a shoulder workout just keeping my elbows off the table while I attempted to dig out the few acceptable crawfish I found. Gave my waiter a pity tip, I will never return here. I don't know what happened in the past year or two, but this place fell off a cliff into the depths of hell. Go. To. Cormier's.

Only during crawfish season other than that their food is not that great. The beer was semi-warm and no cold mugs. The hostess, waiter was great when visited late on a Sunday evening when there was very few places open.

Best crawfish, shrimp, and ettoufe in the northern Louisiana area. Super friendly staff. Cozy spot for you and your loved one. Sweet tea is just perfecto.
They serve a warm toasty bread with garlic butter with all their servings. Sorry no pictures of it, was too good to stay on the table.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Vanessa C.Brunswick, GA01716Feb 7, 2023
Appetizers were good but the crawfish was not. Too salty and small. Service was ok. Ambiance was ok too. I would not go back.

Incredibly salty crawfish , inedible.
Charbroiled oysters were baked. Dead bird inside the restaurant.
And a surprise 4% credit card charge at the end . I would not advise to eat here or tell anyone to .
My son is in the parking lot vomiting as I type this.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Charles J.Metairie, LA1145Feb 12, 2023
This visit was a disappointment. We were expected the crawfish to still be small at this point in the season. They were a reasonable size. However the amount of salt was over the top. The crawfish were dirty and and the heat and flavor was okay. The iced tea was about as dark as the West Monroe tap water in color and about as tasty. Service was great and our food came out quick. The quality was lacking.

Mixed feelings about this one... the server was great. The food was very fresh and flavorful. The prices was good as well! However... in the bathroom., there was all types of bugs including roaches on the fly trap. We informed the staff and they were very appreciative of the feedback and apologized. This is disgusting and so disappointing since the food was good. I hope the restaurant cleans it up. Please check the bathroom before eating.

What a gem! Stopped here while passing through Louisiana on I-20. Food was all from scratch, EXTREMELY fresh seafood, all cooked to perfection. Had seafood platter with Fried Shrimp and Catfish, and Etouffe. Best Etouffe I have had in years! Had a Bacon cheeseburger with jalapeños and "sloppy fries" (chili and cheese). Bacon-wrapped stuffed Jalapeños were stuffed with sausage and were great.
Top it off with a spicy cole-slaw that was the cook's own creation and was soooo good. Everyone who was in there ordered crawfish, which leads me to believe it must be pretty darn amazing too. Waitresses were friendly and took good care of us. Got to talking with the cook about his beef po-boys (he smokes all the meat himself) and he gave us a sample of the meat to try... it melted in your mouth and was full of flavor!
Restaurant is in the downtown area 2 blocks from Ouachitaw River, parking is ample as long as you are in a personal vehicle...we were in our 18-wheeler with a 53' spread axle trailer...if it would have been during the week there would have been no way for us to get there and park anywhere. Most of the business right there are medical related, so they were closed bc it was Saturday.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Rian E.Camden, AR16119224Dec 29, 2020
The food here is amazing and so was our waitress, Lindsey. She was nice, funny and on point. We will definitely be back! The crawfish were spiced just right and they cooked perfectly. The oysters were just as good as the ones in New Orleans.
