Don't judge a book by its cover.. This statement can go a long way. The outside of this restaurant looks a little rundown and as if it would be that nice inside. But once you enter, you are blown away.

This was some of the best Italian food I have had in a very long time. We came here to celebrate my father's birthday and we were blown away by fantastic service.

Everything about this place is great. The dishes all have their own unique look and charm. The waitstaff seem to be authentic Italian and are very helpful. They really do know their menu well. They are always willing to give he best suggestions for what they would recommend.

We started off our meal with the pan fried calamari. I have never eaten calamari that taste that good in my 22 years of life. It came with a lemon cream sauce. Usually cream and citrus do not go together as it can curtail when cooking, but they made it work and it was absolutely outstanding.

I ordered the veal stuffed ravioli. It was amazing, but at the same time it was also very rich. I would suggest to use a different sauce. It seemed to be too much meat for my likings. Maybe create this same dish with a sage and brown butter sauce. This will cut down the richness of the dish.

I really did enjoy my experience here and will definitely be returning.

      Bravo!

Really enjoyed our meal today!! First time I've been there since they renovated the entire dining room and we loved it!

The dining room may be new but the menu dishes are still the amazing classics that I remember from last time!

Service is always impeccable and I love how the owner goes around the room talking with everybody. The chef even came out to our table and said hello and asked how everything was.

Right off of 5th Avenue so never any trouble finding parking. You should definitely give this place a shot and check it out.

My expectations were high. The food was awful. Exponential disappointment. The veil was like leather, the lobster was like bait. I will not return.

Super disappointed. I ordered a wonderful $38 2 hours later we ate. It was horrible. Everyone's dinner was horrible. I will not go back.

I love Italian. This was the worst meal and service I've had in a long time. Came here with friends, Valentines Day weekend. I will never return, and I live in Naples full time. So dissatisfied.

I really wanted to like this place because it was recommended by a friend. But no. The service was great. The waiter and, the busser especially were fantastic but the food was tasteless. There are so many Italian restaurants downtown that this is one to skip

I am giving Ciao 4 stars because the food was very good, the service was very good and the prices are reasonable. We were pleasantly surprised when we entered. Don't judge this restaurant by the outside. It's quite pretty inside.
However, and there always seems to be an however. My wife and I had a bottle of montepulciello wine, our friends had a bottle of Pinot Grigio (I think that is what they had. Both wines were extremely poor quality. My advice go there for the food and enjoy the ambience, then go someplace on 5 th avenue for a glass of wine.

One of the best restaurants I have ever been to around the world. The truffle pasta melted in my mouth and was so tender. The ricotta cheese in the pasta sachels was salty and sweet and so homemade. The Alfredo sauce didn't overwhelm the truffle aroma and flavor. There was shaved truffles on the pasta, so fresh. The service was fantastic and attentive. The arugula salad was simple with olive oil and lemon with pine nuts and shaved parmesean. The ingredients are all so fresh and excellent quality. Great atmosphere and excellent prices for the food quality. The tiramisu was home made and moist with shaved chocolate on top. Excellent local Italian restaurant off of 5th. Born in Naples and never ventured into this restaurant my entire life until now, my loss. I have eaten Italian food in Italy and NYC and all over and I have never eaten such wonderful pasta as at Ciao.

Restaurant Ciao is one of the oldest fine dining restaurants in Naples. It is old school Italian. The decor is a bit faded and parking is a challenge, but the service and food are worth the trip! The Veal Milanese was crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. The portion was huge. Italian wedding soup was creamy and delicious. Try it. You will like it! Maybe walk, or take a ride share.

This restaurant is a hidden gem off 5th Ave in Naples, which we tried for the first time. The food is old n new world italian. The owner,Gianfranco, is also chef n has been in that restaurant at least 30+years. The ambiance is a personal statement n quite charming. The food is prepared to distinction , not one of the 9 if us had a bad meal. Make reservations because this restaurant is a local favorite and has regular foodies coming back for more!
