Had one of the girls' birthday parties here. Super awesome you can rent out the whole rink for a very adorable price, especially during COVID. Masks are required unless eating or drinking. Skate area was very large and had lots of opportunities for social distanced skating. Lots of "walkers" so everyone who needed one had one. Great staff!

I personally haven't been to this rink. But I have received excellent customer service ordering skates from this business. The owner was friendly and professional. She hunted down skates I couldn't find anywhere and shipped them to me as soon as she was able to locate them. Great customer service!

I believe they are now calling this location Rink Ratz. So let me start by saying that the four stars are less about the facility and more about the management at the rink.
The facility appears to be mostly original from when my husband skated here as a child. From the classic rental skates to the wall cubbies and even the rink floor...it looks like it did twenty-five years ago. He was both excited and oddly disappointed with the recent wall murals that give the rink more energy and character. There is really nothing exceptional about the facility itself other than the nostalgia.
As a parent, I want to know my kids are in a safe and healthy environment. Our four children range in age from 10-18 and they all enjoy frequent visits to the rink, especially our 12 year old daughter.
Kids today are very different and it seems as though most parents use this as a babysitting option as there are never more than five or six adults present with a large number of kids. My husband and I are often one of those few adults and see first hand the work that the staff puts in to manage a large room full of kids.
They quite obviously manage fighting, rough housing, and other inappropriate behaviors. They also take time to manage the things that some other facilities may not care about. We have seen the staff address sagging pants, inappropriate dancing, public displays of affection amongst teens, and even bullying behaviors. They manage to herd large groups of kids of varying ages through skating activities and end of night events with great efficiency.
Two recent observations stand out for me as how these rink managers are also great role models for the kids in the community. (I don't know the names of the staff and I intend to change that on our next visit.) First, I watched as the male rink manager sat down with two tween boys who were having an obvious conflict. He sent onlookers away and preceeded to coach these two boys through resolution of the conflict. This occurred on an exceptionally busy Friday night and he didn't have to do this.
The second observation had to do with spontaneous fun that can be created by adults. We watched as the male manager threw numerous roles of toilet paper out into the crowds of children as they were having their post skating party! The kids had a great time throwing rolls of toilet paper all around the rink. Obviously this made a big mess but given the fun they were having, he clearly felt it was worth the effort.
This is a long explanation to highlight the great service being done at the rolladium.Helpful 5Thanks 0Love this 4Oh no 0 - Karen H.Blue Springs, MO35Mar 10, 2019
Just had my 3-year-old's birthday party here... all the kids had so much fun! I love that toddler skates are offered as well as walkers for novice skaters. They also allow parents to push the really little ones in strollers on the rink. So unbelievably affordable for Birthday parties, too! I only spent a little over half what I was expecting to! Highly recommend this place for family fun!

While we love this location and have had birthday parties and get togethers here, I have one complaint. They need more employees out on the rink, keeping an eye on the kids that are skating.
Tonight for example: My kids were there with their grandparents and, due to some older kids flying around the rink and horsing around, several little kids got hurt over the course of the evening. My son, who is 11, not a "little kid", managed to get pushed around, knocked over and snack his head on the cement barrier wall. All without any objection or notice from the employee on the rink! Thanks to you all doing such an amazing job watching people, my child ended up with a concussion.
Next visit, I'll just make sure I'm there on the rink with them, cause I skate pretty dang well. My child gets shoved around and hurt again? The person that did it will take a tumble on the rink, courtesy of me! Maybe employees will pay attention then...Helpful 5Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
