Rhythm & Hues Studios

Rhythm & Hues is a privately owned visual effects post production house.

R&H joined the "big studio" club with Narnia, on which they did all the Azlan, and final epic battle shots. Other film work includes Happy Feet (the killer whale sequence), Superman Returns (the ocean/water effects, Krypto/island effects, Marlo Brandon as Jor-El), Charlotte's Web (farm animal mouth replacement), Garfield 1 & 2, Babe (the pig), and most viewed in my opinion the Polar Bear Coca Cola commercials. They also do amusement park visual rides like the upcoming Ferrari Ride in Dubai.

As of July 2007, R&H is working on The Golden Compass where we're doing most of the animals (aside for the armored bears), and Alvin and the Chipmunks where we're doing the 3 chipmunks.

On the horizon is The Hulk 2, and Mummy 3 work which we are already signed for.

I am scheduled to be here until Nov. 07. And am simply a contracted artist and by no means an expert on R&H. I gave it 5 stars because I am a current employee ;) However the work we put out is top notch, and well worth 4+ anyway.

I had the pleasure of providing therapeutic chair massage services to the hardworking VFX team of Rhythm & Hues Studios for almost two decades. Of all the effects houses I've worked at, R&H employees seemed to be the most satisfied with their working conditions. It's a tragedy and a shame that they went bankrupt especially in light of their current Academy Award nomination for their work on LIFE OF PI.
