    About the Business

Are you looking for hope? Restoration Community Church is a group of people simply trying to follow Jesus. We believe Jesus transforms us and gives the deep hope our hearts long for. Our heartbeat is to see the image of God restored in us all. Our mission is to love people into a lifestyle of passionately following Jesus. Restoration started meeting weekly in November of 2009. A handful of individuals and families from various neighborhoods in Denver wanted to impact our city with the love and message of Jesus. Those on our launch team, along with some individuals and organizations nationally, generously provided support and accountability in helping us start strong. From the beginning, we designed our services as a safe place for people to explore faith and grow in their relationship with God, regardless of where they are in their spiritual journey. At Restoration Community Church you can be yourself, build life changing friendships and make a difference in the world both locally and globally. Whatever your story, we invite you to join us. Maybe you feel wary of Christianity. Maybe you're a new believer eager to grow. Maybe you've been following Christ for years. Wherever you are in your spiritual journey, you have a home at Restoration.

More of a cult than a church in my opinion. I would not recommend this place to anyone. A very fervent member of the church and I were dating to be married, he baptised me in this church, and then unceremoniously dumped me over the phone. He said jesus told him we were not meant to be together. What a convenient message and great timing since he had promised to take care of me through a scheduled operation the very next day!

A few weeks later, another member called to ask me how I was doing to check up on me "post baptism" and I said well not great; I asked to be placed in a small group and they proceeded to shun me, no communication or answers to my emails and texts. I did receive one more call from a man telling me when I could attend church, since the person who I was dating attended at xyz time and abc time, then I should go exactly at "def" time. I said Wow so you are calling me post-baptism to dictate to me when I should attend? Do you have any other questions or comments for me, Mister post baptism helper person? No, he did not. I'm one of the first people baptised in their new location at Washington Park, in the flowered outfit. Pretty swanky location for a non profit. If you visit the website, the first place to click is "donate". Also, they mention simple church which good luck if you get a response from anyone for that; it did not ever work for me.

As others have mentioned, this is not a thinking person's place to congregate. I have two undergraduate degrees, a master's degree, and a professional license. The singing and shiny happy people are welcoming at the onset, but if you dare speak up, question their practices, or have differing opinions, then you just might be an outcast and pushed away, as I have been.

Been looking for a place since I moved out to CO and this is not it. The pastor denounced science twice in a single sermon which is frustrating. It doesn't have to be either or, God and science coexist in this world and both be right. He also mentioned newcomers commenting on how they "don't know what's going on inside" but they "felt God in there" and honestly I've never felt God less in a place. Definition of commercial Christianity unfortunately.

I've spent the last few years trying to find a good home church for me in Denver. I thought I had one til a friend invited me to Restoration. I really love it here. It's a smaller church than I've gone to but there's a great community. Not only that, I really like the messages every Sunday, the worship is great, and I do enjoy that they do communion every Sunday. I really feel the presence of the holy spirit in this church.

I immediately felt at home here. The people are kind and welcoming. The church has a small, intimate feel even through it isn't small. The Lord's is clearly present here.

It is a safe place for non-believers to explore faith and strong community for people who are looking for a permanent church home.

Absolutely love this church! Was new to Denver, and stumbled upon RST. It has the quality of a big church, but the feel of a small church in that it is so easy to connect and meet new people. After moving to Denver, this is where I have met all my friends. I'm so thankful for a place that has been so welcoming and easy to get connected!

Amazing church. Incredibly intentional and laser focused on their mission. They have a vision and impact so much bigger than themselves. If you're looking for life giving community and a place to be empowered, this is it. Welcome home.

This is a wonderful church that I've grown a lot in. All of the pastors are very caring and passionate people who all bring unique perspectives to the table. The people are warm and welcoming. Grace and God's love abound there!
