You would not think the hotel is as nice as it is based on looking at the knot that the hotels are in but it is a nice hotel. I got a good night sleep no loud guests or running through halls goes on. Apparently, pets are allowed to the hotel for a fee. They offer one housekeeping cleaning of your
Room during your stay or as many or few that you select. There is a breakfast in the morning for guests. What attracted me to book at this property was having a full sized fridge and freezer, microwave, cooktop, and dishwasher in my room. The room was a nonsmoking had a desk and table to eat a meal at and a sofa bed and a king size bed. There is plenty of parking in the lot and they don't charge you a parking fee.

We have been traveling for the pass month- all staying in Marriott property's. This was the dirtiest hotel property that we have ever stayed at. Carpet was super stained and un vacuumed... soap scum covered bathroom sink. Hotel staff was nice- but come on maid staff- clean the place up and make Marriott proud.

This place was so adorable and the staff was super friendly.

We love being able to have a kitchen in the room so that we can make popcorn or breakfast and have a full size fridge to put our left over take out and road trip snacks in.

The ice maker scared us half to death the first time it dropped ice into the bin, but we got a good laugh out of it and it reminded us to shut it off when we got ready to head to bed.

I also love that some hotels now are adding Netflix to their entertainment lineup. Makes for finding a movie or show to watch that much easier.

Awful. Just awful. We were here for 2 weeks in May 2020, during the pandemic lockdown. It was a dismal stay. The property is in need of an update. The furniture is OLD!!! The couch looked like a relic from the Victorian era and was that uncomfortable!! The drawer on our dressers did not close.

The hotel is located down a secluded, run down lane behind the mall (which was closed for the lockdown), and shares a parking area with 2 other properties. It did not feel safe.

The office staff were wonderful. We did not encounter any housekeeping staff and were told if we wanted the room cleaned, we would have to do it ourselves (and we did).

My husband and I stay there often because our kids live in Peoria and we need the extra space when we visit. The carpets are always stained orange and we even took a photo of it when we checked to ensure we didn't get charged for it. Many hotels offer a discount if you stay often, which we do. Instead of offering a discount for that, we were charged what I could get on line. They have gone through several general managers so not sure what is going on but customer service is not a priority.

This unit is new and clean and I do enjoy the way the rooms are laid out. There is a separate bedroom and a living room space with a pull out sofa. You do have a kitchenette, which is typical in these facilities.

The staff was mostly nice and accommodating.

Finding it was an adventure, a silly one at that. A group of hotels are all on a dead-end Access Road off of the mall access road. My GPS was somewhat stumped at trying to get me in here. I had to go to satellite map view to figure out where the pavement was and wasn't. Once you get around the south side of the mall there are little bitty signs to show you where the little bitty road is that leads you back into a wooded area where the motels are. Good luck with that.

TV situation sux. You cannot get a program menu up on the screen and channels are limited. Then there's the sticky remote issue...

I suggest taking in the evening meal they offer during the week (Its hit or miss.) because breakfasts at these facilities are predictably horrible and this one was worse than normal. All you have to do is flip the lids up on the buffet - vile. Unless, you just want toast?
I stay in hotels a lot for business travel. The free coffee and breakfast food is horrible - I cannot say it enough, run! Marriott is usually worse then the other brands for free food. But then, what do you expect? There's no free lunches worth eating either!

The rooms are pretty nice - or, at least the room I was in. King studio. We only stayed a night but I would see no problem staying longer.

      Kitchen was pretty fancy-schmancy.

      Breakfast was ok.

The location, as others have mentioned, is really squirrely. You have to drive around the mall and follow the signs. At night, it is a little more challenging than during the day - and don't count on your GPS. Mine lost track as I was driving around the mall.

It is a pet friendly hotel. That would be fine if I was a pet, or had a pet, or even liked pets - but I prefer my hotels to be pet free. It didn't bother me but worth mentioning if you are allergic.

Pretty solid Residence Inn. Like some have said, the location is awkward to get to, but only once.

The staff was friendly and helpful.

The rooms were clean and pretty well maintained.

My criticism is the wood floors are creaky, and in some rooms the contractors were drunk and put the toilets super close to the bathroom walls.

      Nice location

Hotel selection in Peoria leaves a lot to be desired. This Residence Inn is old and doesn't feel like anything has been updated. Every room I've stayed in had the smell of cigarette smoke, though some worse than others. The staff is friendly and accommodated two room change requests on different visits - one because the power in most of the room failed and one because the smoke odor was overwhelming. There are better deals with higher quality in the city, but when making last minute reservations, sometimes this is the only option.

It's the only residence inn in Peoria and I like to stay at this place due to it's proximity to nearby shopping centers and being quite peaceful compared to the Marriotts in downtown. The rooms are pretty clean and the service is also good.

They have indoor swimming pool which can be used in the winter and pretty well maintained.
