Stayed here on a recent trip to Branson. Room was clean, had a full kitchenette, and a freezer with an ice maker. However, the mattress was squeaky, the alarm clock in the bedroom did not work, and the lid for the coffee maker was broken (and as a result, could not dispense coffee from the maker into the pot). Breakfast was OK, but could have used a greater selection of fruit.

We recently spent the weekend here and had a really nice stay. We were checked in by Karen , who was one of the most efficient and kind Marriott representatives. we have had the pleasure of interacting with. Our room is clean comfortable and we appreciated the open outdoor areas for our dog. We really appreciate that this property is so pet friendly.

This hotel is definitely not up to Marriott standards. We selected this based on our past stays at Marriott locations. As soon as you drive up you notice the lack of care on the exterior building and landscaping. The interior is also tired and worn. The carpet in the hallways is old and buckled. The luggage carts are on their last leg. There is one small elevator. It shakes and makes popping noises on the way down.

The room was also a sub-par experience. The couch was not very clean or inviting and we chose not to sit on it. The king mattress leaned to one side so it felt like you were falling downhill. The shower was a glass walk-in but the stationary glass was installed on the wrong side. We had to open the back door and step into the shower to turn it on, getting sprayed with cold water in the process. This is not only inconvenient but dangerous for older customers. The hotel policy is to service the room every other day but they only stocked it with one day's towels, toilet paper, etc.

A couple of positives: The housekeepers did their best with what they have to work with. The kitchenette, bed and bathroom were clean. The breakfast area was also clean and the food was fresh and plentiful.

Summary: The location needs a serious renovation. It does not meet the standards that guests have come to expect from the Marriott brand.

Good price for a weekend in Branson. Staff was nice and our son really enjoyed the basketball court. Pool was closed which was a bummer and the market place was hard to buy from because many items didn't have barcodes.

There were mixed reviews on Yelp regarding this Marriott property in Branson, MO. I still decided to stay here during my visit. The front staff were welcoming but not following Marriott protocol during the check-in process. The room was average, 2 bottom bathroom tiles were very loose and the sink was not draining properly. The curtains in the room do not block out light effectively, allowing parking lot lights to distract you during your sleep. The 3rd floor was quiet during the stay which was great. The fitness center door was broken but the cardio machines were well-maintained which probably meant there weren't fitness-minded people staying at this hotel. Standard dumbbells were at 10-50 lbs which is standard at most Residence Inn fitness centers. Breakfast was just okay, food was hot, variety was fine, but no "wow" value thrown in. I was glad it wasn't crowded but they lacked fresh fruit, only bananas and apples to take vs bowls of variety to scoop and add to your breakfast selections. Yes, it is true based on past reviews this location does not follow Marriott policies for guests. However, if the rate is fair, you probably won't get better at other neighboring hotels in Branson unless you stay at a timeshare or 5 star facility.

I am a regular at Marriotts as I travel a lot for work and I've got to be honest the experience at this hotel was by far the worst I've had. I called several days prior to my stay requesting to an early check in if possible. I had booked two rooms but understand I'm already asking for a favor so requested one room only for an early check in, which was noon. The female I spoke with stated she could accommodate my request and told me she noted it on my reservation. Now come the day of arrival. I made my way to the front desk to check in (approx 11:40). The female behind the register stated there was no note requesting an early check in. I understand mistakes happen. No big deal. I asked when would be earliest I could check in because I had items I wanted to place in the room before heading to silver dollar city. They offered to allow me to place my bags behind the front desk which I declined because I was in possession of valuables (which I didn't state initially to the front desk clerk) and didn't want them responsible for them nor wish to leave them in their possession. I also had my dog with me and wanted to have her in the room. I was told there was a cleaning lady preparing my room and if I wished I could go speak with her regarding my early arrival to develop a timeline. This is where things started getting wonky. This woman stated she just made the bed and was preparing to leave for lunch, still needing to clean the bathroom. She stated her lunch started at 12 and ended at 1230 but believed she would take an early lunch and have my room ready by 1pm. She too offered for me to leave my bags in the room which I declined, but I made the mistake of telling this woman I did not wish to leave them because I possessed valuables and didn't want her to be held liable for them. I made no mention of the dog to her. No one in this hotel knew I had a dog with me. I knew the hotel was pet friendly, but was unaware there is a separate fee as it was my first time staying at any hotel with a dog. This fee is totally reasonable and I have no qualms with it. Once told a timeline, I left with my bags family and dog to grab lunch and return hoping the room was done. Upon arrival ( approx 12:45), I noticed the cleaning lady I met was sitting in the courtyard appearing to be on her break still. I walked up to my room assuming she worked through lunch and in fact was correct. My room had been cleaned and she left a note wishing a good stay. I proceeded to lug in my bags, which did possess valuables, and my dog. Again, no one here knew I possessed a dog. Several hours go by and I return to the hotel with my family. I checked into the front desk to acquire the second room I had booked. The same clerk I met previously gave me a strange look and asked if I possessed a dog. I confirmed and she asked if my dog knew how to open doors. I had no clue why she was asking this. I placed her in the bedroom and shut those doors, then the main hotel room door was also shut. The employee informed me that it's possible my dog had escaped our room on her own and was found wondering the halls. Surprised by what the clerk informed me, I questioned how this would even be possible. The dog was secured behind 2 doors. She has no idea how to open doors. Let alone two sets. Also both sets of doors are inward swinging so she couldn't have pushed her way through. Also the main entry door to the room was steel, self closing and weighs much more than her. After doubting this story, the clerk said it's possible the cleaning lady had re-entered my room because she had "forgot" to stock an item, but she was unsure. On my way upstairs, I seen the cleaning lady. She immediately told me that my dog knows how to open doors. I told her I knew this to not be the case because there's no possible way for it to have happened. I asked the clerk if she had entered my room after checking in initially which she stated no. She then proceeded to tell me how hers do it constantly. I looked at her and stated you and I both know that dog didn't let herself out. (See photo for further)

Very average hotel. My stay wasn't unpleasant, but the hotel isn't what it could be. I stayed here largely because the cheap rate I got. If I had paid normal rates, I wouldn't be happy.

This property doesn't feel like a Marriott Property. Feels more like a Super 8. Nothing wrong with Super 8, but that gives you and idea.

There seems to be a general issue with cleanliness and maintenance. It's not that my room was dirty, it wasn't. Yet, the property isn't "crisp". Hallways are dim, bottom floor entrance had leaves and debris by the door, one of the stairwells had a cute rate in the stairs, outdoor fire pit is broken and appears to have been for quite a while, basketball goal rim is bent, hot tub by the pool is out of service, multiple rooms have shower door issues. There may be a laundry basket with lots of towels being folded behind the front desk. Not a huge issue, just looks messy and unorganized.

The staff also wasn't what I would expect. "Professional"
was not the feel you got from most of the staff. I will say Randi with housekeeping was a rock star, went above and beyond, and did all she could to make our stay better.

The hotel feels like a place where the owner wants to be cheap and it shows.

Worst hotel ever . Staff not responsive to anything. First day the water was turned off without notice for few hours. We were told it was a city issue , then saw the maintenance guys working in the hotel. Come to find out they had a leak to fix in the hotel. Not a city issue. Not sure why they lied . Next day no hot water. Then no internet. Worst hotel stay ever . Paid full price for a badly run hotel. Which also needs to be remodeled, old rooms. Don't stay here

This hotel is very average. My shower was leaking, the walls are paper thin, and the food they had for free in the lounge is kind of gross.
The price is right, but it is also in a weird location and I would be questioning things if they were charging anymore than just over a hundred bucks a night.
I stayed here because I am a Marriott member and always look for the points.
I wish there was a better Marriott in Branson, the Hilton in town is way, way nicer.

The staff would be 4 stars for being friendly and available along with providing a pretty decent breakfast. The property is old and beat up. One (of two) washing machines didn't work, the only elevator is possessed and the outdoor grill was out of service (the grill was one of the reasons I chose the place). I feel like I grossly overpaid for my stay but that probably reflects most of branson. Either way, I've paid half as much for places twice as nice in much more expensive parts of the country. I wouldn't stay there again.
