I would give this place 10 stars if I could!!!!!! The food was amazing and the prices are super reasonable!!! This restaurant is behind Bill's car wash and across from the Jai Lai Fronton. I would recommend GPSing Bill's car wash and then driving right behind there, and it is located on the end of the shopping center in the corner. If you GPS it from the address Google Maps will get you lost. Sandra the owner stayed on the phone with me and gave me directions.
When you walk into this Mom and Pop restaurant, you definitely feel like you are in a spot in Jamaica. The kitchen is small with real dutch pots, gas stove, and hot as heck! I followed my fellow yelpers' advice and ordered the ribs, jerk chicken, rice and peas, and cabbage for a mere $10. As usual they did not disappoint. It was AMAZING!!! First let me say, I thought I cooked the best cabbage but this tops mine. I would go there strictly for the cabbage. I don't even know how to describe it, but a little bit of sweet and spice and stir fried...it was amazing!!! Okay but it does not take away from the ribs and jerk chicken which too were spicy yummy and delicious. The rice and peas were just okay not jumping for me but the food was amazing. I will be back!! Next time, I will order ahead as they fix it to order- it was like 20 or 30 minutes. I was whining, but it made up for it with the spices, succulent, and falling off the bones. I ate wayyy too much but it was so dang good. Honestly, I think that was the best meal I have had in a LONG time. I will be back, and I would drive way over there for it. I went as I was in that area but I would go out of the way for this reasonably priced yummy, yummy succulent cooked to order meal from such an amazing place with superior service with a smile.Helpful 9Thanks 0Love this 8Oh no 0 - Kirk K.Altamonte Springs, Orlando, FL634Nov 5, 2016
I just voted (Yeah!) in the Casselberry area and I pulled up the Yelp app and found this 5 star restaurant. It is lunch time so I obviously decided to check it out. This is a small hole in the wall restaurant next to a Mister car wash (get your car washed and eat too). Limited seating and the majority of the people who came was for take out. I recommend to call ahead. The lunch time crowd was busy and I had to wait 15-20 minutes. I ordered the spicy jerk ribs, and they were amazing. They also have BBQ ribs which I did not try yet. My wife had goat curry which tasted great. It had some sort of gnocchi in it which interesting and tasted good. The large portion with 2 sides cost $10.
PROS
Food tastes excellent.
Pricing is reasonable
Service is great.
CONS
Wait time (so call a head)
The seating area could use some updates (order take out)
In conclusion I will DEFINITELY come back.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jackie W.Winter Park, FL26592114Oct 8, 2016
The restaurant is small, hard to find, and I would recommend take out because there are 2 tables inside. That being said, the food was delicious. You can see all the action in the kitchen, and it really is a mom and pop place. The ribs were fall off the bone and amazingly seasoned. My sides, you can pick 2 (mac n cheese, pigeon peas and rice, cabbage, rice n beans, garlic green beans, collard greens) were plantains and cabbage. Both were very good. It was $10 for the meal. This was my first time having Caribbean, and it was excellent!

My fiancé and I are here in Florida visiting from DC and had a taste for Caribbean food. We checked yelp and this place had great reviews. We got lost using yelp directions but the owner was really helpful and stayed on the phone until we found it. I ordered the jerk chicken and ribs with red beans and rice w/ Mac and cheese $10. The ribs were EXCELLENT!! Literally falling off the bone! The jerked chicken was smoked and sooooo good! I was not a fan of the mac n cheese I had one bite it was way to greasy for me and needed some type of seasoning. My fiancé ordered curry chicken with greens and red beans and rice $8.00. The greens were delicious. The curry was suppose to be spicy but I didn't think it was. It was good though. We ate outside the weather was perfect. For the price I was really surprised at the amount of food we got neither of us could eat it all. I will definitely come again!
P.S. This place is clean but really needs some decoration.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Dane N.Altamonte Springs, FL111May 3, 2016
Wow!! This is for real the best jerk, cabbage rice n peas I've had in years. Just stumbled on this place and I will be back. It's affordable and the lovely, happy woman running this place really made me feel at home and well taken care of. I've never written a review but this place is great.
It's kinda hard to find for me being the first time I've been here but I am glad this place is here. It's behind a one of those car wash operations and on the right side of the Jai Lai arena.
Thank you Yelpers I wouldn't have found this place without you guys.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jason K.Lake Mary, FL298Sep 14, 2016
The location is hard to find. It's basically right behind Bill's carwash on 17/92. It reminds me of a small island home kitchen right down to no A/C.
I had 6 jerk wings with plantains, red beans and rice for around $10 with a drink. I noticed some of the regulars do call ahead orders. I'm going to try that next time.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Michael B.Longwood, FL2677Feb 2, 2018
This was hands down the best jerk chicken I had ever had. I really hope she opens another location.

Excellent food at a great price too! The directions on Yelp got me lost and into the SAMs Club plaza. I didn't see the restaurant in there and thought maybe they went out of business. We even talked about going somewhere else to eat but I decided to call them. I am so glad I did. Sandra the owner was very nice and gave me the right directions to her restaurant which is located right behind Bills Car wash off 17-92. My husband got the jerk chicken/ribs combo with rice & beans and Mac & cheese $10. And I got the jerk pork lunch combo with rice & beans and cabbage $5.99. Can't beat those prices for such authentic homemade meals. We sat and waited while Sandra made our food. At one point we started coughing from the aroma of chilis cooking. You know it's gonna be spicy goodness when that happens. Sandra makes everything medium spicy but will ask if you like it hot. So if you like it spicy then she will gladly make it that way for you. I can't wait to go back and try some other dishes like the curry goat and oxtails.

Incredible food...simple set up, and feels like you're in a Jamaican woman's kitchen. Had the jerk chicken, cabbage and peas and rice and it was perfection. So much amazing flavor in the chicken and super cheap for lunch. Get here now !!
