I cannot begin to speak enough praises about Red Woof Lodge. We have taken our German Shorthaired Pointer here for the past 2 months for boarding. While I know everyones dog is an angel, I realize mine has the energy of an Iditarod team.
The staff is amazing and the owner is truly hands on. She was able to tell me how much he ate, any concerns she might have, and friends he enjoyed meeting during his stay. This place is perfect with the amount of space for sporting breeds who need to run. They also have a small dog cottage which is perfect for the little guys.
While I know the hours sound a little strange, being closed in the afternoon, they work because the staff is able to concentrate on your pet vs. running the front counter.
Its something small, but they make daily treats to send home with your dog.
Thanks and Booker can't wait to come back.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Lyn D.Westfield, IN083Sep 23, 2017
I needed a place for my Molly when we were visiting Evansville. It was crazy hot outside and we were there for the solar eclipse. Too hot to take Molly with us! They took her in, and took great care of her. They even gave her a gift of homemade doggie cookies when we left. I believe their specialty is routine daily doggie day-care and they don't usually take in a pet for a one-day-stay but they made an exception for my Molly (who is 14 and can't stay overnight in kennels anymore due to her health). All in all a great experience.

I contacted Red Woof Lodge / Cottage two times about arrangements to keep my dog while I attended a funeral. They blew me off both times. If this is any indication of their customer service and care of how they treat the animals, then I'm thrilled it didn't work out to leave my dog with them.

Had my dog groomed. After seeing the dog, within the week, and quoting $55, they charged me $65 upon pick up. I asked why. They could not justify extra charge. They noted the original quote and could not defend increase but stated "that's the charge". I told them we own several businesses and that was very poor way to handle the transaction and was a very deceptive business practice. She did not care. For a measly $10, they have hurt their credibility. I will not return.
