About the Business
For more than a century, Red Wing Golf Course has been the number one place to play 18 holes in Red Wing, MN. Opened in 1915, this public golf course offers a pleasant outing that players of all skill levels will appreciate as they make their way through 6,200 yards of beautifully manicured grounds. Tree-lined fairways create the perfect backdrop for a morning, afternoon, or evening spent putting around on the green. Elevated tees help to design a golf course layout that places emphasis on a target-oriented driving range for extra mental challenges. Towering oak and pine trees are a signature sight at the Red Wing Golf Course, indicative of its stunning views. The course presents golfers with not only a unique landscape that tests their abilities but also an opportunity to make them a better player. Open April through October with varying hours, Red Wing Golf Course provides guests and members with a first-class golf facility featuring a pro shop and a restaurant overlooking the course. Golf memberships include game play, access to a variety of social events, discounts on gear from the pro shop, invitations to participate in member-only tournaments, and a monthly newsletter subscription. With a recently renovated banquet hall on the premises, the golf course also makes an ideal wedding venue...

Frank N.Red Wing, MN410242Feb 28, 2021Updated reviewIt's almost Spring and when the Red Wing Golf Course opens you want to be there, if you haven't tried it. Their there the Kithen puts out as good Pizza as there is in Town and the Friday Fish is spectacular..
All that and the views from the outside deck are Great, super spot for a Date Night!

The bar specials are the best in town, a good spot to have a drink sitting outside under an umbrella, and enjoying the view and Summer weather.

The Food is amazing, check off Stag Head, Oliver's, The Port....these guys are Seriously Good!
The Team ardoing a superb Job on their Entrees, The House Wine is Great $4.60 for 6-7 ounces, Entree's from $15-$17.00!! Great selection, great prices!
I had the Ahi Tuna, Mediterranean Salad.. $17.00 almost FREE! It was Delicious.. I'm not kidding I'm embarrassed I've not been there for awhile!!
If you try it your going to LOVE IT!

You don't want these Guys to go somewhere else.. like New York City.. great food, great prices, great service!
They put a Cod Special on their Permanent Menu, It's complicated to explain; but so Damn Good.. you have to try it.. it's may one of the best Entrees in this Town !
Well stopped by from the State Elks Convention, it was 2-1 night.. small crowd, still out on the course!
I decided on the Asian Chicken Salad $ 8-10... the produce was Excellent, the chicken Crunch was great, the Dressing was spot on... an another Amazing example of someone doing it Right!
I'm always impressed.. some of the best Food in the area!

All I can say is... WOW! This course is beautiful. I can't think of another course that has so many mature trees, fantastic conditions, beautiful scenery all in one. This course has "The PGA" feel to it. If you aren't from the area, this is well worth the drive.

Some of the best greens anywhere and proshop to restaurant to course conditions are top notch. Fun elevation changes and great views. Love bringing golf groups to Red Wing and Lake City area, such a fun town and better weather than "up north". New manager Paul was especially welcoming and friendly. Will be back again soon!

There was another group in front of us also waiting and had been there for 30+ minutes. Decided to leave and go play elsewhere and don't plan to return. If you have an early tee time, I'd reconsider this course.

We were looking for a nice place to play in Red Wing to enjoy fall colors, and thought we'd give this a try. We were very impressed with the overall condition of the course. We saw deer up on the 14th hole. The only thing you should be aware of is that parts of it are very narrow and parts of it are HILLY. Number 10 is as far downhill as it is long. Ordinarily we like to walk but I wouldn't advise that here. But, not crowded and decent prices, friendly staff, make it an A-OK for me!
