i've been eating at this restaurant since high school as it's one of the original Cajun boil restaurants to open in the suburbs of atlanta. Recently I revisited after a hiatus, and Red Crawfish is still just as worth a visit like any other times.
Prices are reasonably priced - crawfish fresh and decently sized. Mussels were really meaty. Service was very attentive.
This is also one of the very few cajun boil restaurants I know that allow you to substitute your add-ons for free (instead of corn on the cob, you can substitute with sausage or potato for free, for example).Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jan 6, 2024Updated review
My family dined here recently on a rainy Saturday for lunch. The snow crab legs were cooked perfectly. There was only another group besides us so the service was fast.

My party showed up a bit after 7:30 on a Saturday and they were packed. We had 2 from our group that arrived early and were already sitting.
I shared the broiled Boil Combo 4 with 4 others. We got 2 spicy and 2 mild. There was A LOT of crawfish, 2 tiny pieces of sausage and potato.
The service was mediocre. - 272531299Jul 30, 2023
This was my first time hearing about this place , I so happened to be in the area and decided to try it while i was waiting on my show to start across the street.
I got here around 5:30 in the afternoon so mid day so it was not to busy just a few people . Me and my crew of 3 which consisted of me my friend and our two toddlers.
Seating : They had booths, tables and outside seating available a major plus was they had high chairs available for our toddlers as well but to be honest the booth seats were so high your toddler should be able to sit fine without the high chair to eat , my feet barely touched the floor the way the bench is so high to the table but anywho that's besides the point let's get into the food .
Food : I ordered the fried rice combo which came with shrimp , chicken , beef , onions and carrots i dont believe it had any eggs cause i don't remember tasting any , The rice was a big portion I'm telling you you can definitely share it with someone or eat half now and the rest later but definitely not in one sitting i can guaranteed you will be pleased with the proportion the over all rice i give a 4/10 and that's cause it was a decent amount but the taste it tasted like nothing i had to add salt , pepper and requested for soy sauce to make it taste like something . They give you a little sauce cup of something that looked like yum yum sauce but tasted like thousand island salad dressing I'm not to sure what that was about but I bet yum yum sauce would of did this rice justice.
We also order chicken nuggets and sweet potato waffle fries for the kids which the nuggets were to oily and had no taste the fries were hot and fresh . We had chicken wings for a appetizer, which was a sweet chili flavor that happens to be hot and fresh but i probably would of recommended them to be fried hard . Then we ordered food to go we ordered the seafood etouffee and the mild spicy noodles which the noodles was really good it was the combo and then the etouffee i give a 6/10 .
My over all rating of this place is a 7/10 and the food a over all 5/10 they had no real ambiance.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 1 - Jul 22, 2023
Little slow, but worth the wait. Two po boys and kids nuggets came to to about $38. Serve was ok, checked on off and on. Food was great, po boy was large and had to
Eat with 2 hands. If I came back to area I would stop again. We got white fish po boy and shrimp po boy. Inside hard to explain, part Louisiana, part beach, part Mexican part dive bar decor is all over the placeHelpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Nickloa D.Lawrenceville, GA1973Feb 17, 2024

We went Tuesday night, and I spent the whole day Wednesday with food poising. Pain in my stomach, diarrhea, Cold chills, vomiting, and hallucinations. The worst I ever experienced in my life. It had to be the Tilapia because my husband had catfish. I will never go there again. I may never eat again.

Always a great time every time we come by.
We usually visit the Loganville location since it is a little closer to home but we always look forward to visiting the original location.
Recently stopped by to celebrate my brother getting recruited for college football. There was only one person for the whole dining room but another lady came to help. We were a pretty big group with eleven people. Service was amazing and even though I tried making ordering as smooth as I can our server was still extra patient and kind.
We ordered,
Dozen oysters
4 boiled combos
4 fried combos
Large order of crawfish
30 wings
Fried rice
& cheesecake
We were also given a complimentary order of seafood dynamite. So goood! The boils aren't traditional old school style but a fusion style and that's exactly why we go to red crawfish. Though through the years we have noticed the seasonings start leaning more towards the og traditional style.
Always our go to seafood place. Both Loganville and Sugarloaf. We will be back!Helpful 1Thanks 1Love this 1Oh no 0 - Feb 18, 2023
Okay we came here on a whim and were truly blown away with the quality, quantity, and flavorful mastery that is Red Crawfish Seafood restaurant.
To start I must commend the restaurant for their heavy pours of wine. Our party was very pleased with only have to order a single glass instead of a couple. This should have been an indication of how the rest of the meal would turn out...
We had the calamari as an appetizer, which was perfectly seasoned, light and crispy. We all ordered our own serving of crawfish etouffee which in hindsight two of us probably could have shared one bowl it was huge! The Etouffee comes with clam chowder but I subbed gumbo for it, it was definitely not a cup but a bowl. I made the mistake of ordering a side of garlic noodles. I only say mistake because I was so full that I barely made a dent in any of my meal!! This all said, today I have been day dreaming of those noodles all day and cannot wait until I can eat my leftovers!
Another in our group ordered the garlic noodles with shrimp. This meal was delayed a little bit so the server comped a seafood dynamite appetizer for the table, which was so tasty. However we barely touched it because of how full we were!
Overall this place is a must try! I am adding it to my list of restaurants I have to visit when in Duluth.Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Nick O.IL, IL933May 18, 2023
Wings 7.2
Value: great, 10 wings and fries for $12.99
I received 10 wings Cajun yum wings at the recommendation of the server, fries, were a mix of steak fries and crinkle cut fries and celery.
Fries were cooked perfectly
Wings little over cooked, sauce would be a 10 but I give it a 5 due to it being to salty, it was a Cajun butter mix that was fantastic but after 4 wings I just couldn't eat anymore because my lips and mouth turn numb.
Ranch tasted homemade and was fantasticHelpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Aug 6, 2023
I really had a good time at this restaurant. I found that they were having a free sip and paint on eventbrite. I reserved two tickets for myself and my sister. We arrived and were immediately greeted and checked in. The amount of space you get to paint and eat is a bit tiny but we made it work. The food though so darn good. I haven't had a good seafood boil in a while and boy they did not disappoint. Not only was the seafood well seasoned it was cooked perfectly. The crab legs cracked so easily. We had Cajun chargrilled oysters to start 7/10. We shared the 2lbs of snow crab medium heat 10/10. They were so delicious so flavorful and the heat level was on point. I also love that you do not have to ask for lemons. Lemons and seafood just go together and they get it. My favorite part of the meal was the side of garlic noodles I ordered 100/10. The best noodles I ever tasted in my life. I got them with insane heat level and the bite it kick went perfect with the chewy noodle. We also had moscato which was delicious perfect to pair with the vibes and the food. The DJ did his thing as well. The music was really good. Overall I'd definitely be back especially for another paint night!
