I am dismayed to see a mediocre rating for Raynor Denver. Based on my positive experiences, I can only assume they are trying to improve their rep, or the competItion is vicious.

      I have had three interactions with Raynor Door Auth. of Denver;
      1. the installation
      2. a repair to replace a door panel which was damaged by a neighbor
      3. a repair to replace a broken spring on the more heavily used of our two doors after about 15 years of use.

When I had these rolling doors (and openers and track - it was a total replacement of very old swing-out style doors) installed, I was very impressed with the crew's ability to handle a weird and very tight installation of custom-width doors.
There was a minor glitch in the adjustment of one track which I noticed within a few days and when I called about it, they were back the same day or the next to fix it.

The openers and doors have been trouble free, the insulation and door seals work very well and they are rush and cozy when it counts. I shelled out extra for heavy duty commercial grade doors and I haven't regretted it.

The doors and opener are very quiet so long as you lubricator them periodically as required. This is very important to me because my wife had a medical practice and treatment room attached to the garage, so it's very important that the doors operate as smoothly and quietly as possible.
The second visit - to replace a bent door panel from when a neighbor backed into it - went very smoothly and quickly and would almost not be worth mentioning except that this review is all about good customer service.

Finally, a few days ago, I needed one of the two extra heavy springs replaced because it broke from old age. I'm an engineer, and I absolutely believe that spring reached the end of its cycle life, because we use that door a LOT, constantly, every day.

The guy showed up right at the appointed time (actually 15 min early, which some folks won't like, but it was not an inconvenience for me) and he was obviously competent. He had it done in 30 min.
And I thought the price tag each time was pretty reasonable and competitive.
Now I'm gonna read some of the other reviews to find out what I should watch out for, but my impression of Raynor is that they actually do try to give good customer service in an age where customer service seems to be a vanishing concept, so until they do me wrong somehow, I'm going to keep calling them.

I have one caveat or piece of advice when it comes to heavier rolling doors: eventually a spring will break on your door, after many years. When that happens, a light weight, normal residential door can still be opened by hand.
The 16ga, insulated doors I bought are durable as hell (they still look new after 15+ years) but it takes three men and a boy to open one of these doors even when one of the two counter-weighting springs is still there. My wife and I could not do it, even with the opener helping.

It is also possible for the cable between the spring(s) and door to break, although that's even less common.

You might want to think about this _if_ you only have one door. We have two, so it's a non-issue for us.

Spoke with Sean regarding replacement doors. He could not have been more helpful, knowledgable and sincere. He took the time to walk me through all my options and wasn't pushy at all. Incredible customer service and professionalism. Also found pricing to be very reasonable.

I just had Raynor install two new doors at my house with windows. I was very happy starting with the ordering sales process with Shane. He was super helpful in helping me decide on the options and colors. He is definitely one of reasons I chose Raynor. I was also very happy with the installers Mark and Austin. Nice clean cut squared away men who were good at their job and knew how to work well together. I would absolutely go to Raynor Door Authority of Denver if I was in the market for garage doors again.

      TERRIBLE ORGANIZATION

Called and spoke to Tammy who assured me someone would be here in the AM.
I was clear that the afternoon would not work.. she said no problem.

Technician called this morning to say he could be here in the afternoon due to another pre-existing job. Tammy is good at saying Im sorry but clearly does not have the information or ability to look at the schedule and tell the customer what is realistic. She blames her boss who did not read her notes.

If you want the job done ON TIME and as promised I would look elsewhere. This company clearly is not organized properly to communicate to the customer what their schedule is.Their priority seems to be to get the job and just disappoint the customer over just being honest on the phone.

Raynor installed my garage doors when we built our house. Our doors have been a challenge because they are solid wood and we have low headroom. That being said, Shane and the service guys were always really nice and helpful. The issue is with management and scheduling. I can't count how many times they said they would get back and then didn't and I was waiting for a week or two to get my doors repaired. The final straw was when I was deciding whether to repair or replace the door opener. The manager, Tim, insisted that I speak with him before they would come out. I literally called him six times. Early morning, mid morning, afternoon, et. I said, what is the problem...why does he insist I speak with him and never return my calls. The receptionist kept apologizing but really...what in the world? I finally said, I give up and called Don's garage doors. They were AMAZING. Seth came the very next day and told me I just needed a small part and my garage has been working great ever since. Do yourself a favor - avoid the brain damage and call Don's Garage Doors!

Poor Sales service, so far 8 weeks for my restaurant door. Should be on 4 weeks and if I don stop every day there probably nobody care. No recommend for important project. The summer is gone and my garage isn't installed.

I called them at 4:00 last night for emergency service and the customer service person said the tech on call would call me back. He never did. Thankfully after waiting an hour I call Overhead Door. They called back and had the door fixed within two hours.

I had Raynor install 2 garage doors on my house and the service was great. The installer was very polite and did his job well. The only hiccup was that I had purchased vinyl rollers and they didn't bring any with them. Installer came back next day and installed the proper rollers. I would definitely use them again.
